5/5 Me and my fiance were on our way to a party. We needed something last minute to bring, it'd been so long since we'd been in Kent and saw Fridays which looked new so we decided to grab some chicken and were so happy we did. Ambiance - can't speak on it, we hit the drive thru. Service - They were so nice at the drive thru, explained the flavors. For such a big order, we really should have ordered ahead, but it was last minute. They said no problem, let us know it'd be 15 minutes and asked us to pull to the side. I swear it wasn't even 10 minutes and they walked it out to us. Food - Their Korean chicken is SO good. We did half soy garlic and have spicy. These were big pieces of chicken. Super juicy. My fiance was really impressed that even after the drive to our party and the chicken sitting in the boxes, when she finally came around to trying it, it was still crispy! My favorite was the spicy, but the soy garlic was the winner at the party. Nice balance of savory with a bit of sweetness to it. Definitely some of if not the best Korean fried chicken we've had in WA. At the end of the party people were fighting for the left overs lol. Amazing! Love this chicken spot! We order in person for take out. It's so clean and the music was on point. All the vibes! The nice woman who took our order was so sweet and friendly suggested the waffle fries with our chicken they were 10/10. She threw in some gloves to keep our fingers clean. She even went above and beyond and wanted us to try a drink which was amazing! It was a sparkling soda with lime. This place did not disappoint chicken was juicy and crisp, flavors on point. My bf surprised me with a chicken cupbob and when they say an explosion of flavors, they mean it. It was good, but rice ratio to the tiny amount of fried chicken was sad. I was craving for some Korean fried chicken and stumbled upon this on Yelp so I decided to grab takeout here. Surprisingly, the restaurant was small with a few table seatings. There's also a small drive thru window on the side for customers to order, which is the first I've ever stumbled upon. I decided to order their half and half chicken with flavors of yangnyum and soy garlic. Also, ordered the rose tteokbokki as a side. The food took a while to be ready. I noticed there were only 2-3 people working, so that might've explained the slowdown. I had to wait about 20-25min to get my order. Overall, the chicken was nice and crispy and sauce was coated perfectly. I would skip the rose tteokbokki since the sauce tasted like it was made from ramen sauce packet. The rice cakes were chewy but the sauce was just off. Not worth $15 imo. It's nice to have a Korean fried chicken restaurant in Kent but wish they have a system to expedite the process especially for those waiting at the drive thru for a while. If I ordered from the window, I'm expecting my food to be ready in 5-10 minutes top like most fast food restaurants. read more

Very clean, modern space, with a drive thru for when you get the munchies. I ordered the gangjang chicken, small, and while the flavor was nice, I thought the size/price was a bit delusional. My husband ordered the half and half garlic soy, and the crisp was good, flavor was nice, but again, nothing I'd go out of my way to have again. The cashier guy was...robotic, almost. Kind of weird, but he wasn't rude or anything, very servicial? Went here during their soft opening which was sometime during March so I can only review what I tried, at that time since it was a soft launch they only had a limited item to sell but we got a half and half bucket which the selection of Yangyum and soy garlic which were both very good flavors! The service was very very quick, we had wanted to use their drive through at first but then said Nevermind let's check inside and the ambiance was actually very spacious which was surprising I don't know why I was thinking it was even smaller for some reason but that was not the case. Currently in soft opening, this is a great addition to the Kent area. Crispy, crunchy Korean style fried chicken, with various bowls, burritos and sides available. We ordered at the counter but a kiosk is also available. We got the original tteokbokki, onion rings and the half and half chicken with Yangyum (korean style sweet sauce) and Snow Rub (butter cheese powdery topping.) The bokki had a lot of sauce, with just the rice cakes and some cabbage. The sauce was great to dip the onion rings in! The chicken came on a large tray - nice big pieces of crunchy awesomeness. We of course ordered way more than we could finish but I know the chicken will be good for a late night 4th meal and stay crispy. A new Korean Fried Chicken joint just popped up in the Kent Valley. It's off Meeker Street just east of the Riverbend Golf Course and west of 167. Drive-Thru, Dine-In, and Take-Out is available. Dine-in ordering options are in-person or kiosk. It was pretty busy over the weekend. Service was welcoming but they could have used extra help. I'm sure they'll make adjustments as they see fit. It's family-friendly compared to UnderGround Kitchen given the type of music they played and lack of bottled beer, hard liquor and soju. The soy garlic chicken was pretty good. I'd get that again. Wished they had pickled radish as a side though. The drive-thru is helpful. Kent has a diverse workforce in aerospace, warehousing, and manufacturing. Employees are looking for good food that can be prepared within a reasonable amount of time. You might even have jury duty and the vending machine isn't cutting it so you're looking to branch out. I don't know what it's like during the M-F workday but I think this restaurant is equip to handle the lunch rush. read more

Service and ambiance of the place is amazing! They have a wonderful and friendly staff with a very clean interior. Their bathrooms were also very tidy.
