I ordered the Mango Cream brûlée today and it was not as good as we expected. The cake layer was super dry which was the most disappointing part. My friend told me that the mango flavor had a chemical taste:(. I also ordered a pork floss sponge cake which had a soft cake layer, but it was a little bit sweet for me.

The service had been consistent and good. I came to this location for many years. Recently, I surprised that my order came out to be unsatisfactory. The bread selection was not as good as before. I did try a new bread which was the double roll. I wouldn't buy it again. Then I ordered a hot milk tea, which was horrible. The drink wasn't filled all the way. It was like 3/4 full and it came out very sweet even though I asked for half the sugar.

Meh, it was good, but everything felt a little underbaked? And I didn't feel like they were very fresh even though we came in the morning...good flavors, but not in a good pastry

I really like this bakery, I had ordered my daughter's birthday red velvet cake from here and the price was good, presentation was beautiful and the texture and sweetness was perfect. Inside is modern and clean and all the baked goods look delicious! Ordered bottled Thai tea and the flavor and creaminess was on point! Cashier gave great friendly service. Need to come back soon!

I love this bakery. There are lot of things to try. Their mango pudding is my favourite!! They have clean and crisp ambiance and modest service. We ordered Red velvet cake for my daughter's birthday. It was super hit. It has amazing cream cheese frosting and overall cake is not too sweet which worked very well for us!

They charged me for a bag on my bday so one star less. I had mango panda cotta, we had two mini-cakes - chocolate mousse and blueberry cheesecake and a chocolate covered sweet cookie. All were good price and delicious.

Download and use the app to capture rewards and to take advantage of any specials they are running! It's a very clean facility and well laid out. Plenty of space and free parking.

I recently visited 85 Degrees Celsius Dessert Shop and tried a few savory items and pastries. I didn't order much--just picked up a few things to sample. The overall taste was decent, not amazing, but not bad either. Personally, I preferred the savory options over the sweet ones. One of the savory items really stood out to me--it was my favorite from the batch. The pastries were okay, but nothing particularly memorable. That said, I feel like I haven't explored enough of their menu yet. I'll probably need to go back and try a few more items to get a better sense of what they really have to offer. If you enjoy savory baked goods, it might be worth a visit!

Very quick and easy to get your baked goods and drink. The location has plenty of parking. However, I do not recommend this place for studying because there's no outlets available. Here, I purchased those almond brioche bread, regular brioche bread, and matcha strawberry latte. Unfortunately, I did not like my drink. It was a regular size.

Decadent and delicious cakes! We've ordered from here on food delivery apps but this was our first time visiting the location. The bakery has a nice vibe and a good amount of sit-down space. The staff were really friendly, and offered suggestions when asked for recommendations. We got the Opera Cake and Lemon Cake slices. The Opera cake ticks all the boxes of a good chocolate cake; LOVE IT!!! The Lemon cake was a surprising win too! It's got thin layers of vanilla cake with a light lemon flavor and cream. It does not taste like artificial lemon flavoring (you know that chemical lemon dishwashing liquid kinda smell and flavor!). I'll be back to try their coffees and other cake flavors. There's parking available, but you'll have to park a little further away and walk. There's an event space and the famous Newark Buffet located very close by, so the parking lot gets filled up.

Now for the options, they all sounded good and were hard to choose from! I like that they have specials of the month, seasonal, and mainstays. I choose one of monthly specials coconut pudding, and mainstay french silk. I also ordered the cheese burger hand pie for my husband, which he loved! The coconut pudding pie was sooo good, loved the texture and flavor, they had toasted coconut on the side to add on top. The fresh silk pie was my favorite! It was not overly chocolatey and had a nice mousse texture, there was an under layer of crisp ganache that made all the flavors and textures pop! The crust is nice and buttery and flakey. These were not heavy pies, just creamy light melt in your mouth. They also have frozen pies so you can take and bake yourself. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth, and will be back this time to order a whole pie!

Both the sweet and savory pies are delicious, and I like that they rotate their menu with a mix of classic and more unique flavors. It makes it fun to keep coming back and trying something new. Some of my favorites over time have been the chocolate chess, cheeseburger, and berry custard pies. All very different, but all really good in their own way. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for pie!! There are honestly not a lot of places around that you can get crafted pies from, so I think they fill a niche market here - a market that I am certainly a part of.

The cake itself is delicious, but what makes it interesting is the type of fruit they use -- not Medjool or the usual Middle Eastern dates, but jujube (often called Chinese dates). That choice gives the cake a gentle sweetness with a subtle smoky note that sets it apart. Feb 21: For our first visit, we ordered quite a spread: the chocolate mochi bun, honey osmanthus cake, jujube cake, a loaf of chocolate bread (because there's no such thing as too much chocolate), and the pork floss with salted egg bread. The concept behind the pastries was appealing, which explains why we bought so much on our first trip. That said, the execution felt a little uneven. The osmanthus notes in the honey osmanthus cake didn't quite come through, the chocolate bun lacked depth of flavor, and the pork floss with salted egg bread turned slightly burnt even though we followed the heating instructions. Still, we were glad to have discovered the bakery. It's definitely worth a try.

It was like many other red bean loaf. The taro cheesecake were bite size. It wasnt sweet or dull. The taro seemed like real taro. It was more of a sandwich than a traditional cheesecake slice. Overall, I could see someone returning for their more savory items. My first impression and experience arent enough to drive myself to be curious for wanting more. There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.

At $6.50, it's not a cheap treat, but it was super delicious and I'm glad we tried it. The drinks were also great. The espresso shot they pulled perfectly complemented the oat milk -- this is one of the better iced oat lattes I've had. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. The cake in itself was not super sweet- very typical of Asian cakes.
