Fav drink but not fav location. Happy lemon Has my favorite drinks and whenever I'm craving something fresh and light, I instantly come here. They have several locations All throughout the bay. This location is the closest to my brothers house. They're always out of something here. This time I ordered the yukut lemon with aloe and they were out of aloe. They didn't let me know until they started making the drinks. I ended up getting lychee instead. The space is bigger than others with lots of seating but I usually grab my drink to go.

Boba Milk Tea Judgment: low A- tea is smooth, slightly nutty (because of cream) cream mixes in for good balance and satisfying aftertaste solid pearls ice/sugar adjustments actually affect taste bright store design ridiculously consistent very biased based on experience but Happy Lemon has a pretty good selection of stuff from fruit teas to smoothies to non-caffeinated's so ask a worker (or me) for recs $5.75 11/17/24 a tribute to the Happy Lemon on Stevens Creek and De Anza many things were learned from there and I'll hold onto them for as long as milk tea runs in my veins

My go to drink when visiting Happy Lemon is the mango matcha smoothie. It's one of their top 10 popular drinks! They have a special mango boba topping that I haven't seen in any other boba shops. Service is pretty fast and the shop is clean. They have a restroom for customers.

Black residue found in drink. When pressed it smeared all over my fingers. Didn't come off without using alcohol.

I've never had a good experience with Happy Lemon and today may be the last time I ever go to one. The service was great at this location but the food and drinks are abysmal, maybe hazardous Egg puffs - soggy and lacking in flavor Drink - the boba were good but I found a piece of black flake that smeared when pressed. If I had swallowed this mysterious object, I feel like I would have choked or gotten ill. It was horrifying to feel it enter my mouth through the straw but it was doubly horrifying to know that whatever I had drank may babe already been tainted. Don't buy into their marketing and just walk a bit further to get some higher quality boba. Happy Lemon leads to unhappy times.

Drunks are served up quickly, especially since there's only one person who makes the drinks and handles the counter. You can enter and pay for your own drink using the counter touch screen. This could easily be a challlenge for some. A variety of drinks are offered - milk teas, fruit teas, cream cheese, slushes and smoothies. A hot item seems to be the chocolate bubble waffle. Every time I come, some child is being told "We're out of those.". My go to drink is the Kumquat Lemon with Aloe and/or Lychee, 25% sugar works for me these days. Here's What I Think... After the Holidays, I hope they go back to at least two front workers. If you're in the area, give this place a try.

I go here nearly daily. The customer service is the best. They dearly take care of me as I like my Strawberry Shake super sweet. It's expensive like $7.25 per drink. Even if it were $20.00 I would still get it. Thank you Long and all employees as you certainly help and take care of me. Billy

my favorites to go place for tea with salted cheese foam and egg waffle. they have the best egg waffle, freshly bake, crispy inside out. i used their app to order and it's convenient especially when the line is long.

Always come here to satisfy my fruity lemon craving. I always get the C2 Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black Tea with lychee jelly. I feel like it pairs perfectly, not too tart and not too sweet! They are known for their salted cheese drinks but I'm personally not a fan. But I have friends and sisters who enjoy it very much. Overall, I highly recommend trying their drinks (: Sometimes it can get busy because it's near a high school so beware because the waits during the weekdays can be a bit longer than expected. They have a screen showing where you are in the queue which is nice so you don't have to constantly ask if your order is ready.

Happy...Lemon? Not sure why Lemon in the name as their drinks don't have lemon? LOL Another drink specialty chain in the Bay Area. Very good drinks but moderate prices! Not cheap for me to have everyday! They seem to be going up in price like everything else! Good location with plenty of private parking in the plaza. There are many inside tables and chairs to lounge. Good for groups. My fave drinks are: strawberry smoothie (has real strawberries in it), Oreo milk tea, Oreo Milk tea tiramisu, Ube Milk Tea with Taro Puff Cream and Boba but this drink needs more sugar even if at regular sugar level and I like regular round boba better then what they provided in the drink. My most favorite drink there is: oolong tea with salted cheese, cream puff and boba! You can't go wrong with a seven dollar drink!! LOL ;p Usually, good customer service but too busy to be friendly. LOL Most likely, I will be back when I get those cravings or when someone wants to buy me a drink! Haha. [30th R]

Bubble waffle. They should care more about the quality of the food they serve.
    Linda S.

There were crumbs and dried up drink stains on the table which told me that the tables weren't wiped down for hours. The bubble waffle was the worst one I've seen served from all the Happy Lemon locations I've been to.

    Chocolate Eggpuff
    Kay D.

I love this place! I used to get the Okinawa Fresh milk ... until I tried the strawberry shortcake!! Best drink ever honestly, I get it at every Happy Lemon now. I always order the chocolate egg puff as well and they put it in this nice wrapper. But today when I went, they just tossed it in a brown paper bag! Lol I mean I still ate it, it's good. But it threw me off guard. This is the first time I received it like that ! Service is always quick when I come, I'm in and out...

    Tea with Salted Cheese
    Ryan T.

Every time I think of Happy Lemon, I think about their signature topping: Salted Cheese! Happy Lemon has been known for their salty cheese foam with a tea of choice for as long as I remember. The salty cheese combine with the sweet tea is a perfect sweet and salty combo if you like a taste of subtle salty cheese with your tea. We got the Green Tea with Salted Cheese and boba & a Roasted (Oolong) Tea with Salted Cheese and boba. Both drinks were prepared really well with the tea on bottom and cheese on top and the flavors were on point! however the boba was a little bit hard, like it was overcooked but still had a little chew. Overall, I would recommend coming here for the signature salted cheese with tea of your choice!

I had to pick out the lemon skin

The parking lot was completely full, so you have to be patient with finding a parking spot. It was pretty crowded and because of that, everyone had to self order. Throughout my time there, lots of customers came through, but I received my drink relatively quickly. As for the drink itself, the house mocha was okay, but I'm glad that I was able to try the Hojicha cream! The mocha + Hojicha cream was an interesting combination, but I think I would try their Hojicha Latte the next time I go. They have matcha, Hojicha, and seasonal offerings as well (like their banana cream!). There is a single bathroom (with code), WiFi (spotty sometimes but I was still able to get what I needed done), and a decent amount of seating (depending on time you go) with available outlets. I worked there from 12 to almost closing, and was able to get the table near the window + an outlet! I was truly sat. Overall, I would come again to try a different drink and hope to snag a table to work! If you're able to get a good spot to sit, it's a solid place to be productive. Thanks Lac Coffee!

This is for the Morning Buzz blend whole beans only…read more I ran across the Airborne Roasting stand at the Hayward farmers market, and asked about light roast beans. I was told they only have medium and dark, but the medium tastes pretty light. I asked if the beans were washed or natural, and she couldn't tell me, and wasn't even sure what that was. I should have taken that as a warning that these beans were not the same level as Devout Coffee roasters beans, which is what I usually get. However, since Airborne was cheaper than the beans I usually get from Devout Coffee, I went ahead and bought a pound of Morning Buzz. This morning, I brewed a comparison between the Airborne Roasting Morning Buzz, and my last remaining light roast beans from Devout Coffee, which at that point was several months old, whereas the Airborne beans where freshly roasted. Well, even so, the Devout light roast beans were far superior in taste than the Airborne beans. The Airborne tasted too burnt, and lacked those subtle flavors that make coffee so enjoyable. It was just a one-note band with loud speakers. My recommendation is, if you like a light roast, and sophisticated flavors in your coffee, get something else. I understand a lot of people do enjoy the burnt flavor (Starbucks, anyone?), but I wish they wouldn't have told me the medium roast tasted like a light roast: it doesn't. Note: in the end, with lots of sugar, lots of milk, and some heavy whipping cream, I was able to have a nice cup of coffee-flavored sweetness.

At $6.50, it's not a cheap treat, but it was super delicious and I'm glad we tried it. The drinks were also great. I'm a huge fan of really strong coffee flavor / pistachio lattes, so I definitely had high expectations going in. The prices are pretty steep for lattes - with specialties at $8-9 a latte, so hopefully they're making their syrups in house... not sure, but definitely wish I asked! As it's a Monday afternoon in the middle of the work day, there was no line at all & the drinks came out pretty quickly. We ordered the biscoff and pistachio latte -- from first glance, they were suuuper milky, which sounds silly because duh, lattes are majority milk, but it really dilutes the taste of the espresso & makes the drink mainly taste like sweet syrup. Unfortunately, these drinks are not very strong at all :/. I'm sure you can customize your drinks, but as they come, they are extremely sweet! The initial sip of the biscoff latte tastes the most like its name sake, but after a while, it just tastes like your run of the mill vanilla latte. The pistachio latte on the other hand has a slight pistachio / floral taste to it, but it really doesn't have all that strong of a taste to it either. Overall, I wouldn't say that the lattes are bad, but they're just alright, especially for what you pay for. I think if I returned, it would be to try a couple of the huge assortment of cakes they offer, but probably not for the drinks -- but def recommend trying it for yourself, as always!
