Vincent was a great help, he had really good customer service. We had rewards points for the egg custard tart, it was nice treat with the Vietnamese coffee. My wife got a latte and she enjoyed it. Bakery was bright and clean and plenty places to sit down

So happy that they brought back their seasonal sea salt strawberry green tea! ($5.25) The moment I saw the email, I knew I had to get it. The last time I had it was in 2019. I ordered using the kiosk which was easy. The wait for the drink was quick. No complaints. It tastes just as I remember.

This was my first time at this location and unfortunately my go-to order of the sea salt caramel coffee with no sugar fell flat. It was too watered down and didn't hit like it usually does. I tried the viral Vietnamese coffee with sea salt cream and that was made well but definitely had way too much ice and not enough drink. Service was quick and staff was nice.

THIS IS NOT A SERVICE ANIMAL.
Elizabeth X.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 10am. There was a lady who came in with her dog. Now, I know service animals are allowed. However, this dog did not have a service animal tag. Instead, the vest the dog was wearing stated "Best Friend" almost like the owner was trying to trick others into thinking it was a "Service Dog" vest. The dog was walking around the bread and even sniffing the bread. The owner saw and even tried to swat her dog away from some Strawberry Halfmoons that the dog was sniffing. As someone who is allergic to dogs, what if they are the person who touches that bread next? What if the allergy is very severe? I walked around the premises to check if there were signs on the windows/doors talking about no pets, only service dogs. Only one entrance had the signs stating this. The other doors did not. As someone who is allergic to dogs, I do not understand how someone can just bring their pet into an establishment that serves food. The dog even went up to some customers and was sniffing their shoes. I even watched the dog go up to a little girl and try to take her doll. **4/1/26 UPDATE** To Katherine (the business owner): Yes, I know you allow SERVICE DOGS. However, this lady's dog was not wearing a vest stating it was a service dog. Also, I think service dogs know better than to try stealing little girls' dolls. That lady's dog was NOT a service dog. She was trying to TRICK people into thinking it was with the FAKE vest it was wearing. Please put more signs up around the different entrance doors.

I tried their so called viral strawberry matcha bun and disappointed with this bun. Please see pictures

Mookcake I tried Taro Mochi Pastry. The mouth feels of the mochi was very soft and chewy. I like it. The exterior pastry was not particularly good, but not bad. Overall, it was not too sweet. Golden Yolk Red Bean Overall, the mouth feel was good and not too sweet. Taste was not particularly good, but not bad.

85 has recently started selling taro rolls--two for $2.40--and they are so good. They're similar to Porto's cheese rolls, but filled with a taro filling instead. I have honestly never seen this anywhere else. Every time I have visited this location, they were sold out, so I was thrilled to finally try them today--and they were absolutely worth it. Worth, worth, worth it! I actually like the taro version more than the cheese one. For cheese rolls, I still prefer Porto's since they have a stronger cheese flavor and a creamier filling.

Got a sweet bun. Tastes delicious and yummy!! Service is fast and quick. Place is well maintained and well structured.

They have a large selection of bread, drinks, and cakes. A few of my favorite are the taro marble bun, coconut twist, milk pudding bun! They also sell loaves of bread and egg tarts. The sea salt coffee is my favorite. It sweetened Americano with sea salt whipped cream! The sweetness can be adjusted too. Delicious! Parking is easy and located in the rear in the structure or there is street parking. *Tip: Come early for the best selection of bread!

We decided to stop in at 85° to get boba. We ordered a green tea with boba, a mango green tea with lychee and a soft jasmine tea with lychee. I tasted all three and they were quite good. The front of the store was clean and the line moved reasonably well. I'm only giving this place three stars, because I had to go use the restroom and it was just filthy. The door was stuck and the lock was very difficult to close. The floor was covered with all kinds of stuff, paper stuff, and there were no paper towels. I hope I never have to use this bathroom, although I did let them know what the counter that it was a mess and there were no paper towels.

I went to the Arcadia location for some pastries. Not too busy. Friendly and helpful staff. Store is clean. The selection is good. Parking garage is behind Rating: 4 Stars

The cake wasn't soaked in coffee.

I bought a whole tiramisu cake from this bakery for a friend's birthday since it's his favorite dessert. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The cake had no tiramisu flavor at all, there was no coffee taste whatsoever. The only thing that resembled tiramisu was the cacao powder on top. The white cream tasted old, and the cake itself was dry, which makes me believe it wasn't fresh. The cream didn't taste like mascarpone at all, it was more like buttercream, which completely changed the texture and flavor you would expect from a traditional tiramisu. I've tried a dessert from this bakery before, and while it wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad either. I decided to give them another chance, but sadly this experience was not good. I wouldn't consider this a reliable option for special occasions.

On a Saturday morning in mid June, my sister and I came here for pasties. The parking garage lot is behind bakery. Inside has an interesting layout. Rectangle area of baked breads and it's kinda cramped with spacious tables area. The line was short to pay for pastries. Nice ambiance in the seating areas with music in the background. The garlic cheese bread is my goto bread and it taste good.

Service is good - staff were all friendly, willing to answer any questions you may have about their menu, and efficient. 1. Gula Aren Latte (5/5) Their signature latte drink that combines espresso, milk, brown sugar and cream top. The cream top was super smooth and cloud-like. The latte part was also smooth, creamy, and well-balanced. The flavor was very caramel-ly and creme brulee-like. I especially like that you can adjust the sweetness level on this drink. Even getting 25% sweetness did not result in compromise of the flavor. 2. Yuzu Espresso Tonic (4/5) This drink is a combination of yuzu, tonic water and espresso. They use real yuzu puree (not just syrup flavor) for the citrus sweetness, you get the fizz from the tonic water, and the roasted flavor from the espresso pour over. It's garnished with a slice of lemon/orange. It's a bit of an acquired taste, but it certainly is a refreshing drink. Will definitely be back.

It's nice to have a place where we can order our favorites and know we're going to enjoy them each time. What keeps us coming back is the consistency. With other coffee shops, a drink can be great one visit and noticeably different the next, but our experience with Tekosu has been dependable. Neither drink has felt like a hit-or-miss order, and that makes a difference when you're spending money on something you're looking forward to. The pricing is similar to other coffee shops in the area, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a bargain, but I'm happy to pay a little more for a drink that meets my expectations. I'd rather spend money on something I know I'll enjoy than take a chance and leave disappointed. Overall, Tekosu is an easy choice for us. If you enjoy biscoff lattes or matcha lattes, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. Both have been solid go-to orders that keep us coming back.

We came in to redeem our milk teas and came out appreciating the artistry that goes into brewing and serving. The tea house is on the 2nd floor of Camellia Square. The parking lot can get full as it's shared with other businesses in the plaza. There is a garage as well. Our milk teas were perfect. I love oolong tea in general. It was earthy and balanced nicely with the sweetness from the oat milk. I highly recommend this drink! We ordered our drinks in the front and were instructed to pick up our milk teas in the back. It's a long, narrow shop so seating may be limited if you have a larger party, but the ambience was very pleasant and nice. Menu is stacked with the names of different types of teas but offers zero description on any of them, so you have no choice but to ask the barista to describe the flavor profile of the teas you're interested in. The barista seemed a bit tired of explaining the tea flavors on the menu, and I honestly don't blame them at all. I'd be annoyed if I had to recite and explain the same large menu over and over again to countless customers throughout the day, when it could've just been written on the menu. If mgmt is reading this - you should fix the menu to make it easier for workers (and customers). This could also help move your line faster, which I've often heard complaints about. I ordered the Koan-Im milk tea, unsweetened, without toppings. I usually like my teas and coffees dark and less sweet, no toppings - especially when I'm trying a new tea shop so I can taste the quality of the tea first, and see whether they get their milk to tea ratios right. The Koan-Im oolong was described to me as a dark roasted oolong so it sounded like it would fit my preference. Unfortunately I barely tasted any tea in it at all, and the drink was mostly just milk. I'm not even sure it was fully milk, since I tasted hints of non-dairy creamer (I should've asked the barista about this before ordering but I didn't want torment her any further after she just rapped an entire menu to me, so I made a hasty choice here). Unfortunately I had to bring the drink home and add more tea to fix the milky flavor. My honest thoughts - I should've ordered a plain tea drink rather than milk tea, so I could at least taste the quality of the tea. I don't think this place makes milk teas that I would like. They're likely one of those tea shops that are popular for their sugary milk tea drinks that lean heavier on the milk and toppings instead. I'm sure their tapioca mochi is lovely, as is their popular "popcorn milk tea" but if you're a person who prefers darker tea drinks with less of the fuss and frills like I do, this place isn't for you.
