Pretty decent matcha! Got the earl gray matcha and it had a great flavor and I could tell the matcha was high quality. I also got the Swiss and salami faccacia and it was tasty. Tried my friends matcha pound cake and it was really good! The ambiance inside is ok, not super cute or fancy. It was very crowded inside so took it to go and sat in the park nearby. Services was good and quick! read more

Omg the matcha here is sooo good. It was not too sweet or too "grassy" as people say. It was literally just right. A great mix of both. Now, the aesthetic of the place is very minimal and cozy, but the business of the establishment kind of ruins it. Granted I went on a Saturday morning, so it was very busy. The volume of the room was way too loud for me. I loved the place because the vibe and the drinks were so good but I might just order to go from now on. On the plus side, I got to the front of the line pretty quickly and I got my drink in a very timely manner. read more

SOOOO good. I would say I was pleasently surprised but I've only heard good things. My matcha was so good you could really get the earl grey AND matcha flavor. They balanced each other out perfectly. The brown eyed girl latte (brown sugar and vanilla) was also delish. We asked for it 75% sweet because the barista told us it runs on the sweeter side. They were also super helpful in giving us recs which I appreciated. The vibe inside was also cute, nothing crazy but you could definitely sit down and chill if you wanted. I will note since we walked in the flow of people never stopped and by the time we left I overheard they ran out of matcha (we came around noon on a Saturday). I will be back to try their other flavors! read more

This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in DFW! The shop itself is roomy with multiple seating options for sitting alone, with 1 friend, or a whole group! It has a very comfortable vibe for working, relaxing, reading, or a coffee date! Next, the staff is so friendly! Upon entering, the team is welcoming and always willing to provide recommendations! They have some of your usual coffee/matcha flavors as well as unique options for each season all with made-in-house syrups that are rich in flavor without being overpowering. Lastly, I usually don't get pastries at coffee shops as most taste like something I could microwave at home but the pastries here are delicious and taste like grandma's cooking! If you don't check this place out, you are definitely missing out! read more

A pretty and cozy coffeeshop! I love the art and decor inside! I got the lemoncello lattee with oat and it was delish. The lemon accents really make it with the espresso they use. Parking was convenient with tons of different shops to eat at if you just wanted to stay near the plaza. I would come back and try out some of the other creations they have in for the season! read more

7th Day Coffee, despite the name, specializes in matcha - from signature drinks to baked goods. And at this they excel; they have some of, if not the best, matcha in the DFW area. I usually order hot matcha sweetened with honey, though they do have espresso as well. The matcha is foamed perfectly and is incredibly potent, though not bitter in the slightest. The flavor doesn't linger, which I like, but their matcha is so refreshing that I wouldn't mind either way. The pastries are freshly made exclusively for 7th Day, with classic and innovative Asian flavor fusions like Yuzu Matcha Pound Cake and Chili Oil Scallion Focaccia. However the baked goods are generally outshined by the matcha and specialty drinks. While I give the service five stars, that comes with a caveat - the matcha is made to order, which takes time. On Saturdays, the line is commonly out the door, and the wait can take upwards of 30 minutes. The atmosphere is pleasant and the music choice is fantastic, but I generally wouldn't dwell for more than a couple minutes, especially during crowded times. That said, the staff are incredibly friendly and even thanked me by name on repeat visits. Overall, 7th Day Coffee does an incredible job at anything matcha. I'm excited to see what innovative flavors they try next and if they expand beyond their current brick and mortar. read more

Drinks: Matcha Latte & Earl Grey Matcha Latte Price: High (~$8 per drink - got oat milk) Flavor: Nothing super special but solid Went prior to the place going viral. It's a solid matcha latte, but nothing special. Matcha didn't have much flavor profile/depth, but did the job for a basic matcha latte. I've had better elsewhere in the DFW area. read more

This cafe is cozy and delightful. Definitely meant to work or study from. The music is a little loud for me but is very chill and headphones make it the perfect volume. There are plenty of seating and corresponding outlets available. The WiFi is good for working and taking meetings. The drinks are all delightful. I love trying the seasonal drinks - they're very creative and include good quality ingredients, including homemade syrups and good quality whole milk. read more

Earl Grey Matcha was so good, the matcha is earthy and bitter (in a good way) but it balances soooo well, almost tastes like fruit loops without it being overly sweet! It's so cute inside as well, calm, quiet environment. The service was great and the people are nice! read more

DRINK Ube Latte with Matcha - Presentation on this drink is phenomenal. Literally so pretty and definitely Instagrammable. The ube flavor is very prominent at the bottom so be sure to mix well. If you are a taro lover, definitely try this drink. They also do it with espresso but I chose matcha. The matcha was well mixed and not grainy which was good! Stronger on the ube flavor but could also taste the hint of matcha. Great combo and hands down one of the best drinks I've had. VIBES This cafe is very spacious and has nice plant decorations. Brightly lit by both window and overhead lighting. There's plenty of seating from high and regular tables to a little lounge area in the corner. Great place for meeting up and studying. There are extension cords which provide numerous spots where you can charge your device while studying/working. When I went there was a large group of people who were relatively loud which was a bit distracting (but yay for noise cancelling headphones), but once they left the cafe is pretty quiet and great place to study. Music is chill and whoever makes the playlist - go you! SERVICE Service was exceptional. The owner was very helpful in giving descriptive recommendations for different drinks. The drinks also come out quickly and the workers bring you the drink which is cool. Overall just a very welcoming and pleasing experience. read more

Earl grey matcha was a bit too sweet for me but loved the unsweetened hojicha latte! Also, loved the yuzu pound cake. worth the hype!!! first of all, the baristas are such angels, so kind and welcoming! second, all the matcha is HAND WHISKED and prepared to order which i LOVE! third, we went around 3:30pm, it wasn't toooooo busy but definitely not slow. we got our drinks super quickly though!!! REVIEWS: we tried the earl grey and limited time jasmine matcha! (both with almond milk + 16oz + iced) earl grey review: 8/10 solid matcha! we did need to ask for a little extra sweetener because we didn't taste the earl grey syrup as much as we thought we would. They were kind enough to add some for us and it was perfect! The matcha profile wasn't too bitter or too distinct, just right! jasmine review: 11/10 SO GOOD. the floral notes were so refreshing and light in the syrup with a hint of nutty-ness from the matcha. they don't up charge for milk alternative which is so rare for a cafe (extra brownie points) we also got a choco croissant to pair with our drinks and it was delightful :) flakey. yummy. warm. perfect. check this spot out if it's on your list!!!! read more

Spent a few hours here working on my laptop. They offer a few more creative drink options compared to other coffee shops. My ube dream drink looked pretty, tasted good and was lightly sweetened. They were packed around 12pm on a weekday and almost every seat was taken. Their playlist is pretty good as well. I would return and recommend this spot overall! read more

This coffee shop is super nice! The ambience is great, wifi is stable and I've started coming weekly to take calls after work. I've been here three times so far, and Silas has already learned my name haha; they are so sweet. The ube dream tastes amazing and the ube adds the perfect richness to the drink. I have also tried the lychee sparkling drink which was super refreshing when I didn't want caffeine. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. read more

To be honest, a selfish part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem... But this is seriously one.of.the *BEST* coffee shops I've been to. If I could, I would give this place 50 stars!! Everything from the coffee, branding, interior design, customer service, vision, etc is amazing and so well-thought-out. The menu looked very intriguing and curated with unique offerings. I wasn't sure what to order, but the owner was very friendly and helpful with his recommendations! I ended up going with the Yellow Mellow as I love lemon bars, and I've never seen this latte flavor combination before. And boy, let me tell you, this was the best cup of coffee I've ever had. The limoncello flavor was delightful; strong, but not overpowering nor artificial tasting. The sweetness and ratio of coffee to milk was spot-on! The syrups are made in-house. And the latte art is photo-worthy. There are several seating areas and outlets available. I like how there's a decent space from the couch/chairs to the tables for people who choose to work/study versus those who are relaxing/socializing. The Wi-Fi is pretty reliable - many coffee shops have unreliable connection, but I was able to take work calls from here with no problem. And speaking of the interior, I love the interior design choices. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but there are meanings behind the choices. The eighth rest musical note is a notable motif throughout the shop, which represents taking a rest on the 7th day of the week. (Whoa, symbolism!) oh, and what's better than supporting a local business? Supporting a local business that supports other local businesses!! Many details from the choice of coffee, baked goods, etc. are sourced locally. If you've made it to the end of my lengthy review, I hope you can tell by now how much I recommend you try 7th Day Coffee! This place is only 3 months old, but I'm mind blown by such great attention to detail. I look forward to seeing the shop grow and succeed! read more

This place is packed and service is fast! The ube latte was good. At the front of the line, use their QR code for their menu. They offered other milk alternatives except for coconut milk. Which was fine. My friend is not a fan of matcha and still tried the frescita. She's still not a fan. Matcha is not for everyone. I think she's gonna try something else next time. Overall they had ample seating even though there were lots of people. read more

Pull through to sit down in a refreshingly quiet space to grind out some work or to unplug with friends. Parking: Lot right in front Atmosphere: I was very impressed by the decor and design. The space is very open and designed with the laptop warrior in mind (outlets at reasonably sized tables). There was a couch area for sitting in comfort. The plant wall is obviously vibes haa. Perfect spot for a low-key group to get together to get a little work done or hang. Food/Drink: They have a few seasonal drinks that were tempting, but I opted for a London Fog because the vibe called for some tea. They have an assortment of pastries from nearby bakeries that looked lovely and will certainly be on my plate the next time I visit. Service: The baristas are quick to help with suggestions if you're unsure or have questions. It's quite apparent from interacting with the staff that 7th Day Coffee is their passion - something that is often lost in the bustle of local coffee shops. Loved seeing them interact with one of their "regulars" !! There is a complete dearth of places that don't charge insane prices and openly welcome people sit, hang, and relax. This is a gem in the minefield of coffee shops. If you like visiting coffee shops, this place is 1000% a must-recommend. I will be back !! read more

To be honest, I chose this coffee shop spontaneously. The parking lot near the coffee shop was full since I came around lunchtime so I parked a little further away and walked down. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and I could tell the coffee shop was lively. I was impressed by the design and decor of the cafe. I ordered a Honey Bee and I sat in the back of the cafe. The person who attended to me was very nice and helpful, and even offered to make me a new drink if I didn't enjoy the one I ordered. I've never had that kind of service or experience before so I was very surprised and appreciative of that. The Honey Bee was absolutely beautiful. I'm not a big fan of cinnamon and it was enough that it wasn't overpowering. I could definitely taste the espresso and there was a light sweetness too. I would definitely be interested in returning if I'm in the area and trying out the other drinks they have. read more

I've been here several times previously but it's blown up on TikTok and I had to give it another try. The first time I got their matcha it was a huge miss for me - just tasted like milk. This time I got the strawberry matcha and it was sooo yummy - I'm not huge on sweet stuff but this was a HIT. I can see why it blew up now. I believe the cafe is owned by a couple and normally there was only 1-2 people working at a time, on Saturday I saw 5-6!! The line is constantly out the door now, super proud of them and they deserve the recognition. I can see this spot being big for college students while they're studying, definitely a cute spot so check it out!! read more

I got the earl grey matcha and I liked it well enough! It was my first time getting a drink here so I was glad it was good, but I'm not sure I would consider going back. I found out about this cafe through Instagram and wanted to try it out, but the location makes it difficult to find parking and the place was really busy when I went. The service was nice enough and my drink came out fairly quickly for the number of customers vs the number of baristas. I liked the overall vibe of the cafe, but I just don't think it's for me. read more

Another trip to the DFW area, another new coffee shop to try out! 7th Day Coffee popped up nearby the area where I was hanging out, so I figured I'd give it a go. The baristas behind the bar were super friendly and walked me through the menu, giving me some good options. They were very attentive and kept the whole shop clean. I decided to get the Ube Dream since I wanted an espresso drink. It was delicious! My only wish is that I could taste the coffee more, as the ube flavor completely overpowers the espresso shot. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but I wish I could taste more of the coffee. I ended up getting it made with oat milk, which added an extra charge. Now, I don't know about you, but I feel like coffee is getting crazy expensive nowadays. By the time I paid, the drink ended up costing more than $8, which is too much. The space is nice and clean with plenty of seating. When I showed up, it wasn't crazy busy or anything, so I don't know how busy it gets later in the day. I could see myself coming back fairly often, but the price is honestly hard to swallow, even though the drinks are pretty good. Give it a try and see for yourself! Also, I couldn't snap any pictures of the drink because I spilled it after bringing it to my table. Jess's Pro-tip for the day: Don't spill your drink immediately after buying it. read more
