So my first impression of this place by the name I didn't think it would be like this. I walk in the place is very clean very neat the people that take your order very nice. Now the food I got some fried fish and sides. The creamed corn is not sweet at all the Cajun rice does not taste good. The fried catfish very bland. Went here today and had the blackened catfish with dirty rice (outstanding) and my wife had the medium gumbo. The gumbo only had to pieces of shrimp (tail shell still on) and two pieces of sausage, but considering that it was only $3.39 for the bowl, you get what you pay for and it was still pretty tasty. We also had 3 lbs of craw-fish with 3 potatoes (red) and 2 sausage links ordered extra spicy. The craw-fish was delicious!! I would only suggest that the owners provide a bucket for the empty tails and also provide a roll on paper towel for each table. This place is a winner!! read more

I order takeout fairly often from this place because it is close by. I generally order the same thing everytime. The boudin balls are excellent and a pretty good size. I order the blackened chicken salad often, nothing super special but it's good and a healthier option with a good amount of chicken on it, the remoulade dressing is very good with it. I have tried the boiled shrimp by the pound before and it was fine but not on the list to order again. The cashier was nice and he was very knowledgeable of the menu so I ordered jambalaya with shrimp and chicken, and boy did I make a great choice this had to be the be jambalaya I've had in Texas.
