I'm sending this is in regards to my treatment at 7spice on 11013 Fuqua St, Houston, TX 77089. I entered the establishment to order my food and was immediately confronted by a cashier and was told rudely that I had to call in and order, so I began to call my order in while inside the location and Alejandro expressed to me in a verify abrasive tone that I had to call from outside of the building, which I didn't understand I proceeded to go outside to place my order. So I called  from outside the door to then have Alejandro answered the phone continuing to speak to me in a rudely and unprofessional manner he made my ordering process as difficult as possible. After continuing to be treated in this manner I expressed to him and told him he was not treating with respect or professionalism. He then screamed to me to go somewhere else and locked me out, so that I was not able to speak with a manager. This individual is rude and has no regard to his customers nor their service. This is not acceptable especially during these trying times. I hope that this matter is addressed in a respectful manner. This place is pretty new I decided to check it out. I had chicken tenders and shrimp. It was delicious. The butterfly shrimp and chicken strips were evenly coated with delicious original flavor. The outside of the chicken tender was crispy and the inside was very moist. The food here was very fresh. I had cream corn and corn on the cob as my sides. The cream corn was good but I usually prefer corn on the cob. The corn on the cob was personally too spicy for me. I will definitely come back here to try healthier options. I saw that they had blackened chicken salad so that will be next on my list to try when I come back here. Come here and check out the food. Amazing fried seafood! honestly this was some of the best fried food I've had in Houston and I would have never expected that from a tiny whole in the wall place in a shopping center. The food does not taste good to me. The boudin balls was just rice. If there was meat, I didn't see or taste any. The dirty rice and Cajun dirty rice was poorly seasoned. Very flavorful, I just didn't like to flavor. The Po'boys did not taste good either. I didn't like that cabbage is included. I could barely taste the meat bc it was overshadowed by the bread and veggies. I also didn't like the sauce. It also taste like there is seafood boil seasoning in their butter, wasn't a fan of that either. I had high hopes, but was let down. We came here for dinner. There was 5 of us in the party and the prices were very reasonable. The cashier wasn't as friendly as the cook staff. The cooks acted like they really liked their jobs, her not so much. The food was amazing! I had blacken fish and it was fantastic. The 7Spice butter made it all the more better. I was let down because they do not have Diet Coke! The tea was ok but only sweet n low (yuck)! Choices!! But all in all the food is amazing! read more

Let me begin by saying the restaurant closes at 10 PM. My boyfriend called at 8:45 PM to ask if we needed a reservation (our first time here we didn't know you didn't need one), but the woman on the phone proceeded to say there was a 25 minute wait and that it would take an additional 30 minutes for our food. Clearly they did not want us dining in. We still made it to the restaurant by 8:55 PM. When I received my EZ peel shrimp it was cold, and the corn was still almost frozen. I wish I would've taken a picture of the food it was so cold the boil (butter) was semi-solid. As we were leaving at 9:30 PM the staff had already stacked the chairs, and were telling customers they were closed; additionally, a feminine male was yelling in Spanish "go away were closed" prior to a customer walking in. The chicken tenders are so moist and crispy and the gumbo has a lot of flavor. Its a little too salty for me so I personally would go for the chicken tenders. Ok so today I tried out this place because I read so many positive reviews about it. One thing about this restaurant is that the tables were a little dirty with bits of crumbs. There was only one person working at the front so it's a good enough excuse. Me and my hubby both got the lunch special of the Blackened Catfish with dirty rice. The employee at the cashier was very nice and he gave excellent service. The wait time was reasonable. It wasn't too long of a wait. We got our order as to go. When we got home, nothing was out of place or mistaken. A+ right there! Gave 2 tartar sauce for each of our order which was plenty enough for both me and my hubby. Please open your bag to observe your order before leaving the Katy location on Fry Rd. I placed an order and opened both bags when I arrived home and was clearly only given about a half ounce of crab legs, no corn and very little shrimp on both orders. I called this business repeatedly for 30 minutes to let them know the error with my order and was told that the order was perfect and the most they could do was give me "more" corn. Mind you the corn was really the least of my concerns and I only brought the missing corn to their attention because they screwed up the rest of my order. The final decision from the supposed manager was there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue sense I left and they are 100% sure their order was correct. BEWARE, this place provides poor customer service and they do not accept responsibility for their errors.
