Wow, we were impressed with the selection, but it was the amount of you got. Holy Smokes! We had leftovers from everyones plate. The cup of gumbo I ordered came in a bowl. Food was not great. Flavor on the butter garlic shrimp was not it, the fried rice was not cooked all the way and the color of the fried shrimps and fries was too dull. Everything was off and then we got food poisoning from this food. Stay away from this place! It is amazing The amount of food that they can put on a plate for the price that they do. I certainly couldn't prepare a similar meal at my house for anywhere near the price I paid for the completed meal. I sat on a Sunday afternoon and looked at full tables of very happy and satisfied customers. I sat at the only open table on mid-afternoon Sunday that he just been freshly cleaned by the staff. The floors were clean, The service stations were stocked and clean, and the staff was busy yet attentive. The planks of fish in my meal cover the entire plate and promised a good amount left over for take home. Nope! The reviews misled me here an afternoon of craving fried fish. The prices are a Yes but the fish was super frozen- fried tasting and was super greasy. The fried rice was just ok...i didn't finish it and felt a lil sick after eating it due to the amount of oil...would try again but would def haveta be something other than the fried fish. Very clean , the place is kinda small but they still were social distancing the tables. Everyone working was very nice and helpful. We got the shrimp which was some of the best I've had and super cheap. Also tried the chicken strips nothing really special but i can tell they make them in house at least.
