I personally chose the seafood boil and got 2 pounds of shrimp. These shrimps were humongous. The biggest was as long as my whole hand (finger tips to wrist). Each table also received a tote bag as complimentary for the grand opening. All in all, the staff, food, and atmosphere contributed greatly to a special moment with loved ones. I will be back especially with more family and friends!

Anytime I come to Houston, The Crawfish Pot is a must. No question. They have the best boil bags, hands down. I usually order my bag Cajun style, but I didn't catch the young lady's name, she convinced me to try the house sauce with extra garlic, and baby... she was absolutely on point. I will definitely be ordering it that way moving forward. I had (All you need platter) snow crab, crawfish, shrimp, corn, and potatoes, seasoned to the max. Everything was flavorful, saucy, and cooked just right. The house sauce is like a mix of all their seasonings (from what she explained), and whatever it is, they got it right. Shoutout to Preston (if I'm not mistaken), the young man who rang me up, he also let me know they're opening a second location nearby, which is dope and well deserved. Top tier every time. Highly recommend. If you're in Houston, try them out. You will not be disappointed.

After dropping off my friend at the airport, I decided to check out this Mexican restaurant nearby…read morecalled Cazares. They have this unique dish called the fried avocado. You have an option to get it stuffed with shrimp, crawfish etoufee, beef, or chicken. The waitress recommended shrimp so I went with that. They give you complimentary chips and salsa. I wish the salsa was less watery and more spicy but I still ate it up. They also give you a bottle of green salsa but that one wasn't that spicy either. I think I saw some tables have another darker red salsa but they didn't give me that one. The plate comes with som rice, refried beans, and 4 tortillas with your choice of corn or flour. The shrimp were huge and full melty cheese a good flavor. I basically made tacos out of bite of the fried avocado. Very creamy with a slight outer crisp, but it breaks pretty easily. After awhile it got harder to eat because of the richness of the avocado. This was a very heavy meal and put me to sleep afterwards

It's very colorful (literally) place inside, and it took a while before I could look away. Food and service were good. Chips and two salsas very tasty. Note: This was a draft, and I forgot what we had to eat. Probably a relleno if they had it, or a torta, my two go-tos. Mango margarita was very tasty (mango is one of my favorite fruits, and a cool surprise (literally).
