The food, presentation, and atmosphere were fantastic. The portion sizes are huge, which makes up for the higher cost. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. 100% would go back!!

I have been a loyal Wrap & Roll fan since they came into the Pearland food scene. The OG location is closer to my house, but I decided to come out and check out their newest location on the East side of Pearland, almost Friendswood. They took over another restaurant and did a great job renovating and making it their own. It is a night and day difference from their first location which is way smaller. This location is pretty large, has a modern look and some IG worthy picture spots for those that are into that. They also have a whole area in the back dedicated to a bunch of those claw machines that seems to be the craze these days. They saw me snapping pics and came and brought me some tokens to try it out. I didn't win, but I appreciate the excellent customer service. Over the years, I've tried alot of their menu. What Wrap & Roll is about is Asian Fusion and they do it really well. They do things like Spreggrolls which is an eggroll inside a spring roll. They do items like wraps, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and fries but with Asian flavors. If you want something more traditional, they have that too. My tried and true go to is their Ultimate Fried Rice though. They don't have their own website but it's not on every menu through ordering sites. I usually just call in my order This Ultimate Fried Rice will feed a small army. Ok, more like one person for about 3 or 4 meals, or a small family once. I got it to go and this bag was heavy. Its a massive service of fried rice, topped with all their popular meats like filet mignon, grilled chicken, shrimp, pork, and sweet sriracha chicken. Then they top it with an egg blanket. It's gotta weigh about 4 or 5 pounds. They're not just throwing stuff together, but they're also making sure every single item is full of flavor. There's not one thing they put in that is a miss. Overall, another great meal here. I was worried that once they started expanding to multiple other locations that they would lose it's charm and consistency, but they seem to still be killing it. I will most definitely be back!

Food was amazing. Ordered at the counter and they brought it to me. Really tasty and they give you tokens for the claw games at the back. Very casual atmosphere and very kid friendly. Saw a few kids running around but kids will be kids at a place like this. Planning on a return trip soon

Fast and friendly service on top of HUGE portion sizes! Much better deal versus Panda Express if you have the time to spare for your American Chinese food fix

The taste was good. But all the plates we got were less than hot when served. More like cold and a little worm. One plate came with barely any noodles. Service was good. Ambiance was inviting. Spent $65.00 on 3 plates and 2 drinks. And they do charge tariff fee.

The hunger pangs hit and I just happened to be near this place. I've only seen it in passing but haven't really seen much chatter on the local foodie pages on social media or on here. I arrived around the end of breakfast and there wasn't much of a crowd inside. Parking was easy right out front. I was a little confused at the ordering process. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. She did an amazing job from start to finish. I was expecting just a taco joint, but they have lots more to offer on their menu. They have gorditas, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, breakfast items, soup and entrees. They also have your usual drinks options along with agua frescas, shakes, juices, margartitas and beers. I was torn between breakfast and lunch so I decided to try both. I went with the dish that has the same name as the restaurant. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke. This place is very close to my house and I will most definitely be back to make my way through their menu.

It's not the new place with mezcal flights and neon signs preaching about tacos being a lifestyle. It's the spot where you sit down, exhale, and realize you've been eating the same enchiladas here since Clinton was president -- and they've tasted right every time. Celaya's isn't chasing trends. They're not reinventing the wheel. They're just making damn good Mexican food the way they've always made it: with consistency, humility, and zero interest in impressing a food critic. Their salsa doesn't come in five variations; it comes in one -- and it's hot enough to remind you you're alive, but not so brutal you won't ask for more. The plates arrive fast, heavy, and exactly as you remember them. Cheese enchiladas drowning in chili gravy that stains your soul in the best way. Puffy tacos with enough crunch to make conversation pause. Refried beans like molten velvet. Rice that's been kissed by chicken stock and time. No deconstructed anything. No fusion confusion. Just food that doesn't need explanation because it's been perfected by repetition, not reinvention. The staff? They know you. Or they will. Names are remembered. Preferences are locked in. If you order something different, they'll check on you twice just to make sure you're feeling alright. This isn't service; this is family surveillance. Décor? Who cares. Probably the same faded murals, same laminated menus, same framed photo of somebody's abuela. And yet it feels more permanent, more rooted, than whatever's opening across town with reclaimed wood and Edison bulbs. The prices? Still fair. Still honest. Still structured around feeding working people, not influencers. You'll leave full, maybe with a little foil-wrapped something for later, and wondering why anyone ever needed more than this. Celaya's isn't a scene. It's not trying to be. It's a refuge. It's a reminder. It's a handshake from the past, still firm, still real.

Even with the huge crowds they get every day of the week, the food remains high-quality, the service stays quick, and the overall dining experiences are consistently satisfying. I think it's admirable that after all these years of coming here since I was a little girl, they've managed to maintain the same level of quality, and if anything, they've only improved. My go-to favorite is the Amazon Wrap with steak. It's always beautifully presented, the steak is perfectly cooked, and the lettuce, tomato, and other toppings keep it light and refreshing instead of heavy. The tortilla strips inside add the perfect crunch to balance what could otherwise be a chewy wrap. I also love drizzling on the complimentary green sauce that comes with the chips or asking for extra Amazon sauce because both pair with the wrap so well. Truly, there is nothing wrong with this dish, and I've successfully put all my friends onto ordering it. While I usually stick to the Amazon Wrap, Gringo's has plenty of other delicious options, including the steak fajitas, the quesadillas, and even a surprisingly good burger. Overall, Gringo's continues to be a comfort spot for my family and me, and it never fails to deliver. If you want reliable Tex-Mex with great service and consistently good food, this is absolutely the place to go.

We were there for a friend's birthday party, and our server kept the chip baskets coming and the drinks topped off regularly. Of the 20 or so people at our table, all orders were hot, fresh and correct. Kudos to the management here! I just wasn't overly impressed with the food. Though the chips were served warm, so too was the salsa. I do not like warmed salsa, as it tends to 'hide' certain flavors. This salsa was roasted and not terrible, but also not great (even had it been served cold). It was boring -- without heat, hints of onion and garlic, and nary a leaf of cilantro. The queso here is average. Not bad in any way, but nothing special. I like that they serve it with a side of fried flour tortillas, which are a guilty pleasure. Finally, the parilla was very good. We don't order these very often, as they are difficult to pull off. This one, however, was done very well. The shrimp as tender as any I've ever had served in a dish like this, and the carnita pieces were also very well executed, along with the beef. Kudos! The flour tortillas were nicely grilled; rice and beans were par for the course. I'm not in Pearland often, but if I come back here, there are some other menu items I would like to try (including entomatadas, which are hard to find). Bottom line: Not bad. Just not anything great. There are other Tex-Mex joints out there that are far better.
