The egg drop soup was fresh, hot and really great which is usually a great start at any Asian establishment, but everything went downhill really fast afterwards. Wife's shrimp lo MrRon was so salty, we just threw it away and the fried rice was just lukewarm rice that was just mixed with some soy sauce. That was it! I had kind pao chicken that was really hot but had no great flavor whatsoever. The pork egg roll was good enough but nothing to write home about. I'd give them another shot just because they have four stars but they totally missed the mark on our visit! read more

Best Chinese food in the area by a mile! The service is great and everyone there is so kind. We always look forward to the chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, but the egg foo young has quickly become a must! read more

Wok delight...I love the owners of the 528 location in Friendswood. They're very gracious with their portions and hospitality. The food, cooked to order is always tasty and you can definitely splurge on the whole family for a small amount. I like it. My spot when rolling through Friendswood. I call up and order my Large Wonton soup, Orange chicken, eggrolls, etc. and I am a happy camper. In fact, tonight I am having orange chicken. YUM. Last night I had Large Wonton soup and 2 eggrolls. Yes, the place could use a little sprucing up, but whatever. The staff is nice and are getting to know me. If you are looking for a meal to go in Friendswood, this could be your stop. read more

Consistently good food at great prices. Wonderful, kind people (owner/workers) serving you!

This place has been here since I was a kid and it's still the same. Great food. Nice employees. A big menu to choose from and they prepare on demand. Nothing sitting like Panda. They also have a drive thru which makes it quick and easy. read more

I love this place it gives me the neighborhood hometown warm fuzzies it takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. ***one con, the traffic gets busy near here so it can be an extra minute getting out*** But the food is always hot the service is Extremely friendly and welcoming owners. They always remind me how polite my son is and how well mannered he is at his age, *Big Mommy Smile of course*. The kids were away for summer so I didn't visit as often because your food portions are large I didn't want to end up wasting food. They asked kids where have they been, they said with grandma then I heard... momma doesn't have to pay for baby sitter you come here after school work here, we feed you watch you you clean up!!! Aww hometown warm fuzzies!! (Wonder if she thinks I won't drop him off LOL) We love vegetable or sesame chicken platters, wonton soup, stuffed wontons, wonton strips, egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken is also good. So if you want great hot food at great price with friendly customer service this is your regular not big city just hometown Chinese food location! read more

Such harsh reviews! What fine dining experience would you expect at a counter-service food establishment? Keep it in perspective! Been eating here for 20 years. Good food, fast, friendly service at a good price. Full meal with multiple sides for under $8. Dee and company do a great job. read more

Dont let the looks fool you. This is NOT fast food. This place is delicious. Tip:Pass on the shrimp fried rice (small out of a can type shrimp) and get the deluxe fried rice (lrg shrimp) + every thing else. read more

This is a great find. Food is excellent. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired only b/c it needs some updating. The place is very clean. Service was great. It is counter service, but they came out and brought us our food. The second we appeared to be getting up, staff was there to help us with boxes to go and to help clean up our dishes. The portions were average for most Chinese places - large. read more

I LOVE this place!! It's always made to order, fresh ingredients and piping hot! The owners are great people and so friendly. Kung Pao chicken is my favorite and the wonton soup is great too. read more

Standard chinese place. But the lunch specials are a good deal and they come out so very fast. You want decent chinese on a lunchbreak, I recommend going here, they won't waste your time when you need to get back to work. Really, this is a 3 star place, but bumped up for being consistently fast and a good value for money. read more

The food was so hot it did not cool down to a less scalding heat within thirty minutes. Dangerous! Additionally the food tastes awful. Will not be back for third degree burns. read more

I was sitting in the drive thru waiting for my order and saw an employee take his arm and wipe his nose twice. He then proceeded to bag up orders and place condiments in bags. It was gross and I will never be back. read more

I eat here frequently. They don't deliver but have a drive-thru which I love. Their daily special gives you a ton of food for a great price. The service is always great and friendly. I've only had the sesame chicken because I love it so much, I can't make myself try anything else. read more

Nothing to write home about, but you get a good amount of decent food at a good price from a family-run place. Have always experienced prompt, friendly service here read more

Cheap, fast, friendly, and delicious Chinese food. They give you a ton of food. I've tried mostly everything and have never been disappointed. I left off one star for ambiance and I like to reserve a 5 star rating for 5 star restaurant. read more

Great garlic shrimp! The fried rice is well seasoned and has a good flavor. The inside is nice and clean and the staff are friendly and professional. I recommend the D'Lite combo plates because they are delicious and cheap for the amount of food you get. read more

Order was screwed up first time, when I took it back, they screwed it up again. Never had a problem before but won't spend a dime there again. read more

Last week I read the ratings on this place and thought I would give me it a try. I should have stayed home and had day old popcorn. I will never go back!. I wasted $15.00 when I threw away 90% of the food i purchased. I have never given anyone a rating below three stars but that was the worst food I have ever eaten at any restaurant. I only gave it two stars because they have a drive threw and I did not have to get out of my car to get this horrible food. Sorry folks! read more

Food is always very fresh and hot! Spicy chicken is my favorite! I love this restaurant and the owners are so friendly!!!

In the past 2 years ive gone here about 15 times. EVERY time I order white rice and clearly tell them NOT fried rice because i HATE that! And EVERY time they give me fried rice! I will NEVER go there again since they cant get the simplest directions right! If o could give them 0 stars i would. read more

First experience here. Ordered shrimp foo yung with no onions (allergy) and after repeating the order and handing them a piece of paper with the order on it and what not to put on it, I got it loaded with onions and there was no shrimp....but what may have been chicken. No lunch at lunch today. 12 hours and no food read more

It's not like, the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, but it's a heck of a lot better than anywhere else in Friendswood and it's cheap. It's a really mild, gentle, kind of American-ish version of Chinese food, but it's tasty. There's really nothing about it that's not good. Egg foo young, crispy spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, and egg drop soup are some of my favorites. The food here is mostly salty and satisfying, and not packed with spices, but that's okay. Definitely add some sriracha or chili paste/oil to it if you're like me and you want a little more flavor, but that goes for anywhere really. You can't go in expecting authentic Szechuan or anything like that, but you shouldn't expect that from anywhere in Friendswood. Drive up to Bellaire, close your eyes, spin around in a circle, point somewhere random, and eat there if you want authenticity. Come here if you want fast, delicious, affordable comfort food in this area in which good, quick, affordable places to eat are painfully scarce. It definitely won't disappoint. read more

Wok D'lite rules, the family that runs it is very welcoming and this place has become a Friday night ritual for us since we moved to Friendswood. You can tell there is a lot of loyalty by all of the regular customers. I like that they are open until 10pm, so I can get dinner even after pulling a late night. Drive thru is nice too. Prices can't be beat. I could eat here every day read more
