The egg drop soup was fresh, hot and really great which is usually a great start at any Asian establishment, but everything went downhill really fast afterwards. Wife's shrimp lo MrRon was so salty, we just threw it away and the fried rice was just lukewarm rice that was just mixed with some soy sauce. That was it! I had kind pao chicken that was really hot but had no great flavor whatsoever. The pork egg roll was good enough but nothing to write home about. I like it. My spot when rolling through Friendswood. I call up and order my Large Wonton soup, Orange chicken, eggrolls, etc. and I am a happy camper. In fact, tonight I am having orange chicken. This is a great find. Food is excellent. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired only b/c it needs some updating. The place is very clean. Service was great. It is counter service, but they came out and brought us our food. The second we appeared to be getting up, staff was there to help us with boxes to go and to help clean up our dishes. The House lomein is A1 , service is top notch , the owners are super nice and friendly, always have a good laugh with them... if ur comin thru fwood before 10 and u need some brunch stop at wok no regrets. You want decent chinese on a lunchbreak, I recommend going here, they won't waste your time when you need to get back to work. Ordered shrimp foo yung with no onions (allergy) and after repeating the order and handing them a piece of paper with the order on it and what not to put on it, I got it loaded with onions and there was no shrimp....but what may have been chicken. In the past 2 years ive gone here about 15 times. EVERY time I order white rice and clearly tell them NOT fried rice because i HATE that! And EVERY time they give me fried rice! It's not like, the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, but it's a heck of a lot better than anywhere else in Friendswood and it's cheap. It's a really mild, gentle, kind of American-ish version of Chinese food, but it's tasty. There's really nothing about it that's not good. Egg foo young, crispy spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, and egg drop soup are some of my favorites. The food here is mostly salty and satisfying, and not packed with spices, but that's okay. Definitely add some sriracha or chili paste/oil to it if you're like me and you want a little more flavor, but that goes for anywhere really. You can't go in expecting authentic Szechuan or anything like that, but you shouldn't expect that from anywhere in Friendswood. Drive up to Bellaire, close your eyes, spin around in a circle, point somewhere random, and eat there if you want authenticity. Come here if you want fast, delicious, affordable comfort food in this area in which good, quick, affordable places to eat are painfully scarce. It definitely won't disappoint. read more

Wok D'lite rules, the family that runs it is very welcoming and this place has become a Friday night ritual for us since we moved to Friendswood. You can tell there is a lot of loyalty by all of the regular customers. I like that they are open until 10pm, so I can get dinner even after pulling a late night. Drive thru is nice too.
