11.09.25 stopped by here today with a friend for a late lunch early dinner. saw this place on…read moretiktok and food review channels, so i had to try it out myself. first impressions, once i got to the parking lot, i thought, oh this might be that good, for it looked like a mexican restaurant from the outside, however once stepped inside, its a whole different appearance, very nice, very clean and peaceful. so this place, as seen on tiktok and food review channels, as well as advertised outside, boasts an all you can eat seafood buffet. once i stepped inside, i looked around before being seated, to see where the buffet table was, and i didnt see any. after being seated, i asked the waitress, where is the buffet table, and/or how does this work. the waitress mentioned, you just order what you want from the buffet menu and they bring it to you. i think this is a great idea, i dont have to get up, nor fight other customers on the last of any items. the waitress mentioned to me, since today its not busy there is no time limit, however, when they are busy, there is a 2 hour limit, and with the order of the buffet, there is one complimentary premium order of either 1 lobster tail or 1 cluster of snow crab. so i began my order with a house salad with ranch, and a seafood gumbo. i appreciate that the salad was made fresh, everything clean and crispy, the seafood gumbo however, was a bit of a let down, it was runny and was not served with white rice as it normally is at other seafood places. next i ordered from the boiled menu, shrimp head off, crawfish and a lobster tail, as the complimentary premium order, cooked with garlic butter. for everyone out there that is used to normal seafood, especially cajun seafood, make sure you order some dry seasoning or at least the cajun seasoning for the boil to cook in, the garlic butter boil, was very plain, and i was expecting to feel some kind of spicy burn, however none, just a bit of garlic flavor, with the buttery oily taste. the shrimp was a bit over cooked, however was edible. crawfish was ok as well, however, all were small crawfish. and the lobster tail was a bit overcooked as well, and somewhat small than the normal lobster tails that are served at other places. next i ordered some fried headless shrimp and an order of sole fish. again the shrimp was a bit over cooked, and the sole fish was freshly cooked as well, for it was blazing steaming hot every time i bit into it. the tarter sauce, i dont know what it was, for there was no taste, tasted more like i was dipping the fish into mayo, and the cocktail sauce for the shrimp, tasted like ketup. to drink i had a water and a sweet tea, water tasted fresh like good clean water, and the sweet tea was really good, nice and sweet just how i like it. this is a good place to try once, however, it wasnt good enough for me to say, 'i cant wait to go back.' there are other places that i know are way better, that i cant wait to return to, to have some great seafood. for this place, i say keep trying, maybe someday, this place could maybe compete with the big boys.

My friend told me I HAD to try this new crawfish spot…read more I already had my favorite spot that i've been going to for years. This place did not disappoint!! It was sooooo good. We ordered the crawfish with coastal seasoning. It was the perfect amount of flavor. Now that I think about it, my usual spot is too salty. This was perfection. We also ordered the 2 piece fish fillet with fries and that came out quick, hot, and crispy! Service was excellent. They came by the table and dumped our shells into a bin. Nice and clean. We will be back with more friends. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

And they even have special deals on some days for cheaper. It is a Viet-owned establishment and the flavors are top-tier for the coastal and garlic flavors for the crawfish, and the pieces can get HUGE during the right time of the season, like around May. The biggest crawfish I've ever seen out of my 20 years of eating crawfish was from here--and there were like 6 of them of the same size all in one 5lb bag! Never have seen that at Crawfish Cafe or other places. Staff are very friendly. Only downside is they only have lemons here--no limes--and they charge for lemons. But the free butter station is nice for those who enjoy that.

The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, a good setting for a family celebration. The service was really good. Our team was attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. They brought out complimentary hushpuppies as an appetizer, and those were definitely a highlight... warm, fresh, and flavorful. As for the food, it was overall okay. I ordered the grilled shrimp with a loaded baked potato and onion rings, and my meal was pretty tasty. Everything was cooked well and satisfying. Several family members ordered the catfish. They loved the texture, it was cooked nicely, but mentioned that it could have used more seasoning or flavor. Another person at the table ordered the seafood fondue dip and said it was delicious. All in all, it was a pleasant visit with good service and a few standout items. A nice place for gathering with family.
