Now I'll be adding this great location to my favorites list. It's super clean and festive with Mardi Gras decor. Plenty of tv screens to watch any sports teams playing. They had the college and pro teams on. They have the best happy hour hands down. It wasn't busy at all and the young man that was bartending and my server was very attentive. He kept the refills flowing and had what we needed before being asked....amazing service. I had the catfish basket that came with french fries, hush puppies, and a drink for 12.99. PLEASE try the berry lemonade it was delicious! The catfish portion was very small. It was half a fillet cut into 3 strips and had a gritty dirty taste. It was not good at all. The fries and hush puppies were fried to perfection. The catfish basket comes with a choice of salad or gumbo....so gumbo it was. It's definitely not my grandma's gumbo. It was more like a okra, tomato, sausage, chicken jambalaya. Nothing I'd ever consider ever again. But it was edible after dressing it with hot sauce and crackers. Also got the crawfish po-boy which was a hit! It was spilling over with fried crawfish packed to the gills. Got it with LTOP with a side of corn on the cob and hush puppies. It was so delicious and filling. This was so good I'll definitely get it again. Overall great service, awesome bartender, and happy hour....but I'd never get the catfish again...you live and learn

The 1x spicy level is our go-to! I love a bit of spice, but this has an amazing flavor that other crawfish just don't have. It's the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Everything on the menu is great, but we especially love the jalapeño crab poppers and, of course, the boudin balls; they are so good every single time. With all the well-deserved hype Guidry's has been getting lately (yes, you might have to wait, but it's absolutely worth it, we just happen to live close!), we've been ordering to-go more often, and even then, the service is still beyond amazing! The waitstaff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the Cajun atmosphere really makes the whole experience. It's one of those places you just keep coming back to. We had gotten the pork rind appetizer with the crawfish cheese sauce- I'd say it was a nice starter and the rinds were freshly made and still crackling as we were eating them! Sadly, the crawfish tasted like it's been sitting out and the blue crab was dry unless you dowsed the butter all over it. So it was either too salty or not enough seasoning.

I ordered the grilled shrimp with a loaded baked potato and onion rings, and my meal was pretty tasty. Everything was cooked well and satisfying. Several family members ordered the catfish. They loved the texture, it was cooked nicely, but mentioned that it could have used more seasoning or flavor. Another person at the table ordered the seafood fondue dip and said it was delicious. All in all, it was a pleasant visit with good service and a few standout items. A nice place for gathering with family.
