7Spice is your run-of-the-mill chain cajun food joint with an affordable price tag. We opted to try this place again after a couple of years since the restaurant we were interested in next door was packed out the door. The ambiance is casual with colors that create a gentle warmth around the place. Service is strictly at the counter and food comes out at an expected rate (not too slow, not too fast). We opted for a family platter (can comfortably feed about 3 hungry people) and the nice folks there allowed us to blacken half of our order for $1.50 instead of $3 for all 4 filets. I would definitely recommend the blacked tenders over the fried. The spices and slice of lime pairs nicely. The rice definitely needs work as it's very mild in flavor, as is the garlic bread as well. A family pack gets you 6 slices, though! Woah. The choices for sides is limited and nothing really gave me an impression. But the combos are pretty affordable; you're looking at paying $9 a person with tax included. I can see myself coming back for some blackened catfish if I'm in the mood. I'd give taste a 2.5 with affordability bumping it up to 3 stars. Cheers!

As a LA native moving out to Texas was a big step. But Jaydin at 7 spice was completely welcoming. Not only was the food bussing but the atmosphere and cleanliness reminded me of auntie house. 5stars I can get used to this southern hospitality.

Let me just say Yelpers never disappoint. Again Yelpers.Never.Disappoint!!! I went to get my…read moredrivers license replaced, and surprisingly, it was quick and painless, so with some extra time to spare, I figured I'd get crawfish before I went back to work. Pulled up my handy dandy Yelp open and what did you know 4.5 stars and enroute to my house (I work from home). The Plaza was a bit sketchy, not a lot of cars in the entire Plaza. But Yelp said it was good so I went forward trusting the process OMG!!!! First...$7.99/lb WINNING! I ordered egg rolls... DELICIOUS AND FRIED TO PERFECTION. But let's get to the real highlight of this trip. I ordered 2lbs, house special seasoning, spicy with corn, sausage, and potatoes. I could have done without the sausage. It's ok. The corn and potato were cooked perfectly. But the crawfish....OOOOOOHHHH the crawfish. Flavored to the gawds....and HUGE! Like all.of.them. not just one or 2...maybe 1 or 2 were small lol WINNING!!!! Then as if it could be any better....a nice gentleman paid for my meal and just asked that I tip the waiter. Gladly! JACKPOT!!!! GOD IS SO GOOD! Can't wait to pay that blessing forward!! Baby when I tell you I couldn't get home fast enough to post this review. Please visit if you can...you won't be disappointed. I will be back!

Get the best of both worlds here with some viet food and crawfish !…read more We ordered: I had the chicken plate and it was gooooood! 5/5 I love that it was served a small bowl of soup was served with it to complement the dish. I asked for white rice instead of fried rice. The chicken was moist and had great flavor and perfect crisp on the outside. Thit Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef) with fried rice. 5/5 I didn't try the fried rice myself but the beef was on point . It came with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lime for dipping too (chefs kiss!). A few pounds of crawfish 3/5 I'm not a huge fan of crawfish off season but it wasn't bad . (Pro tip: We asked for extra sauce and limes to dip into) Service was pretty slow while the place was empty tho. There's plenty of seatings and parking was easy .

If you're craving traditional Filipino cuisine, this spot is truly a hidden gem. A friend of mine…read morehas been raving about it for a while. He and his group dine here often, and he always says the food reminds him of home. Curious, I had to check it out for myself and see what all the hype was about. I finally made it in for lunch, and there were so many dishes on the menu that caught my eye. Just a heads up, the portions are generous and meant to be shared family-style. We definitely got carried away and ordered more than we could handle... but at least I had dinner ready for later The fried pompano and fried red snapper were standout dishes, both were large, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The fried calamari ended up being my favorite. The batter was flavorful, light, and crispy, and it was cooked just right. I honestly couldn't stop eating it. We also tried the sinigang soup and a squid dish, which are off-menu items prepared in a more home-style way. These need to be requested ahead of time, but they're definitely worth it. Rose took such great care of us. She was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The service really added to the experience. I'm so glad I was introduced to this place, and I truly hope this family-owned gem gets the recognition it deserves. Also, I couldn't help but notice a couple enjoying a seafood boil nearby, it smelled amazing. I'll definitely be back to try it... I was low-key eyeing their snow crab Highly recommend!

Located in the middle of Pearland, parking won't be a problem in the shopping center they share with several businesses. I've stopped by three times: once for dinner, once for lunch, and once for happy hour. Ambiance (3.5/5): A comfortable, neighborhood restaurant. It's a pretty spacious one, too. They even have a private room for large groups. I've sat both at the bar and at a table. No complaints. Service (4.5/5): Service has been consistently good for me throughout my three visits. Forrest does a great job behind the bar. He's efficient, friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond. The type of service where you get a refill on your drink before you even have to ask. Drinks (4.5/5): One of the things I like about HT Seafood Company is that they have a great happy hour with specials on both drinks and food. The drink specials are fantastic. And they even do all day happy hour on Saturday! Something you rarely see from a bar or restaurant. Awesome! Food (4/5): A good number of dishes (10 or so) are on the happy hour menu. I've had their fondue fries and shrimp scampi. A little oily and heavy, but flavorful. The lobster grilled cheese with lobster bisque is also delicious. It's not cheap, but a very, very solid lunch option. They also have some lunch specials where you can get some good bang for your buck. If you're a seafood fan, and looking for a spot that offers a lot of great value, HT Seafood Company does a great job of delivering.

The place was quite empty at this hour, round 3pm I gathered. We watched a game, Canada vs. Qatar I believe - lots of goals anyhow. It was fun to watch with the Spanish commentary. Anyway, back to the food. We had a piece of sizzling steak, shrimp salad, and some other meat. All well cooked and delicious. The portions were huge, which is not uncommon on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. The service could be better though. We have waited quite a while for the mains, which is alright. But the drinks came with it, not before, while we were waiting. Hence, I am subtracting one star. Funny enough the check mentions 30% tip option. I had a good laugh ;) I gave them 20 probably.
