I was one of the first customer in line when the store opened at 7:30 AM, and there were quite a few customers behind me after that. My order was placed at 7:44 AM, and I received my coffee and croissant fairly quickly. However, I was still waiting on the 4 cinnamon rolls I had ordered. Around 20 minutes later, I went up to the counter to check on my order. I was reassured that my cinnamon rolls were being made and told that it usually takes about 30 minutes, so I continued waiting. As more time passed, I noticed customers who ordered both before and after me receiving their orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I started to feel like my order may have been missed. I checked a second time and explained that I felt like my order may have been missed. The gentleman who helped me was much kinder than the first person I spoke with and was apologetic, which I appreciated. Finally, another employee, who I believe was the owner's husband, asked to see my receipt and discovered that my order had been misplaced. I received my cinnamon rolls around 8:30 AM. While I understand that popular items can take time, it was frustrating to find out that my order had actually been misplaced after I had already asked about it twice. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the owner's husband for being honest about what happened and the gentleman for taking the time to help. I love supporting local businesses and hope this doesn't happen to another customer.

The people working there were sweet and accommodating they did have a mix up with my order, but when something was said they were able to fix right away. There was also a group of Incels nearby having a pretty intense conversation around religion and politics that made the atmosphere feel a little uncomfortable and hard to relax in. I volunteered to make the coffee runs because I knew I'd get at least a few minutes to enjoy the live music while I was in line. I tried the matcha and coffee, and everything was lovely. And the best part - it was a crowd pleaser when I brought it back for the rest of the crew. The staff was also incredibly kind and so helpful with labelling drinks for me.
