It was really hot today so we stopped by 7 Eleven for a Slurpee and Big Gulp. Some locations make you pay first and then they give you the cup to complete the purchase. The cups weren't by the slurpee machine so we went to the register to pay first. The owner made a comment about the cups being on the counter near the machine but he allowed us to pay first. They were away from the machine, behind the counter near where the employees tend to customers' needs. So we paid for a pack of Funyuns, a large big gulp, and a large slurpee. We went over to the get cups and began to fill up on some cold drinks! As I'm dealing with the slurpee overflowing a bit, the owner (Patel) came over yelling at us. He said that we paid for a medium slurpee and asked why I was getting a large one. My husband showed him the receipt indicating that we paid for a large slurpee. The man didn't believe that we were charged for a large slurpee. He said that we paid for a medium slurpee. Then he started to yell at us and we said that we'd pay for the difference. We showed the receipt to him again and he still said that the receipt said "medium slurpee". So basically, we were confused as to why we could clearly see that we paid for a large slurpee. He was going on and on saying who knows what at this point. So as we approached the register again, we asked what the difference would be so we could just get this over with. He said that we could just go and that we can pay the difference when we come back because he will remember us. Seriously, the receipt shows what we paid for and he was trying to get a few more pennies out of us while wearing his mask on his chin. So alas, we will not be returning to this location again because this predicament was a bit too strange for us. Basically, the other reviews for this location are pretty accurate! All that I wanted was a large slurpee.

My question is on why won't you take loose change to pay for merchandise? I went in this week and was told I couldn't use loose change to pay for my items as I didn't want to pay with a large bill . The employee said that per the manager & owner that they can't receive loose change to pay unless it's rolled in the proper change rolls read more

4/18 me my dad and brother went in and my dad was grabbing some wings and all he said to the worker was all together when we were going to pay and the worker told him slow and my dad just stared at him not understanding what he meant and the worker kept saying slow and he told my dad "are you mental " and started insulting my dad in his language and all because my dad said "all together " I told the worker not to be calling my dad mental and he started insulting us even more. They need to find some new workers and watch the people the hire because this was insane all we were trying to do was get some drinks and food read more

It's your local convenient store that has everything you would need. Whether it's a snack, some medicine or a full on meal you'll find pretty much what you need here. Usually stocked and the service is what you expect from a convenience store. I give this a 7-Eleven out of 10 read more

Love this 711 new people took over and they are all so nice. Store looks cleaner and I don't have to ask for a receipt for being overcharged continuously like before. This week is a red ban week, all students from LFE and Serrano school were given a red ban for a free 20 oz slurp if you decided to go to 7-eleven. Please do not go to this location, you are not going to get what is being told and you will end up paying for your drink instead like my daughter did. Two days ago, I stopped at this Seven-Eleven on Muirlands Blvd. in Lake Forest, CA and immediately purchased an energy drink,. After my purchase took my empty plastic water bottle to the fountain drink ice machine to fill half full of ice, (maybe 8 oz.) as I have done for the last 20 years. As soon as I finished and turn to exit the store, the clerk YELLS at me, "Hey,...that will be $1.00 for the ice,...your drink does NOT include any free ice! (still yelling at me). I was in disbelief!! In 25 + years this is the first and ONLY time that I have EVER been yelled at after purchasing an energy drink (currently $3.00 + tax) and helping myself to 8 oz. of ice. B-t-w, it may be just a coincidence, but upon opening up the customer feedback section on Google for this Seven-Eleven it appears that this store's 2.5/5 star rating (not exactly "stellar!") seem to be centered around the feedback on just a few employees??? Hmmm!!! No kidding, If this was the last Seven-Eleven in southern California and my mouth was so dry that my spit was turning to fluff,..I would sooner die laying in the middle of Muirlands Blvd. than spending another nickel at this Seven-Eleven. read more

Watch out for the guy who looks like Gandhi. He is terrible. The first time I came in I had two double gulp cups for refills. He argued we me that I had only one cup and wanted to charged me for a new one. I came in last week and I came in with two cups one was refill and the other was just ice. He charged me 50 cents. He never charged me before and no other 7 eleven has ever charged me for ice. He didn't ring it up either I bet he stuck in his pocket. Today he charged me for a full refill. I told him I would call the manager. He didn't care. I will call tomorrow if I can get a hold of the manager. Stay away from here read more

I came to this specific 7-Eleven just to grab a bag of chips and some snacks for family while I tap my card for my transaction the cashier notified me that I didn't have enough for the chips. I did, I checked my balance and I had enough for my snacks so then I tried a second time to purchase and my card was declined. I checked my account again to find out that this cashier still took money from my account and proceeded to tell me that I can't leave with my bag of chips. I then asked for a refund. the cashier's English was very hard to understand (fluent just hard to understand) and he was no help whatsoever all he did was repeat the same thing, automated almost, like if it was a script. That customer service feels like a drive through rather than service at all. I leave only to find out from my wife in the car that he proceeded to laugh cowardly while I left. I guess robbery is funny from the thief's perspective. Thanks for nothing 7-11. Still love your ICEE's though. read more

My boyfriend and I came here and bought two large slushees (I read the reviews beforehand saying how they like to overcharge so I made sure to keep an eye out). I paid close attention to the screen and noticed that the man charged me for 5 XL slushees. I asked him for the receipt and then told him that he charged me for 5 XL instead of 2 Large. He apologized and refunded me but from the previous reviews I know that this wasn't a mistake. Be careful! read more

Please people ask for your receipt when you buy multiple items because they overcharge you this new employee has some brownies on the side and empty coke and when he's scanning your items he also pass the scanner over the brownies and the coke and if you not ask for receipt you never see the overcharge today I just got 4 sodas and a bag of chips normally is like $7-8 today I pay 14.89 and I when back and return everything please ask for your receipt read more

Oh thank heaven for this 7-Eleven. Thank you for being where you were, so strategically located right when I was crashing from having no energy and what felt like nearly blowing out my knee. The price I pay for saving mother earth by biking my butt to work. Thank you for having cold redbull and gatorade on hand. Thanks also for having a cliff bar and a snickers there too. It sucks that the shopping center you're in doesn't allow loitering, so I had to cycle on back and found a shady spot to drink and eat and rest a couple minutes. Lord knows my knee did love the rest, and as soon as I finished off the food, I felt I had more than enough energy left to go and catch up to that jerk that nearly took me off in the bike lane. Thank you 7-Eleven for just being there and taking debit cards since I hardly never carry cash... Oh thank heaven. read more

The owner/clerk/guy who is always at the front counter is a total jerk! I love the 7 Eleven app because they always have offers for free food and drinks so I like to take advantage of that since it is available for a nice afternoon treat! But this guy is very SHADY! BEWARE! We had a coupon on the app for a free Big Gulp drink with the purchase of a Kit Kat bites snack and somehow he overcharged me/charged my friend twice!!!!! I should've gone back to ask him to see a receipt but to hell with this guy! Go ahead and charge me for $5 which makes no sense since one of the items was free and I'll be damned if that small snack pack cost $5 you liar! So, a list: - The guy looks miserable, doesn't say hi to anybody, doesn't know how to work the cash register, doesn't give receipts, actually looks like he wants somebody to put him out his misery. I come here almost every day. Their selection is fantastic and the shop is always clean. It's the only place I have found that carries Enlightend's Roasted Broad Beans. They are so good but thats for a different review. Be patient with the employees, they are quiet and get to the point. But you should be coming for convience- not to pall around. I really like this 711 and recommend it to anyone who asks for a quick snack. read more

Went by again to give the 7-Eleven one more chance. The one bald guy was a rude again. Went by 2 buy a couple different things actually spend a lot of money at the 7-Eleven or have in the past. Thought I'd give it one more chance because they reached out to me. He was incredibly rude he should have a meeting with human resources and learn how to treat customers. I know I said I'd never go there again. But I thought I'd give him one more chance and he blew it. read more

I came across with this rude and very bad attitude a bald guy named Patel.He was washing his junk car outside and clearly got upset when I stepped in the shop as he was the only one in charge.This a..h... was rushing me if I wanted to purchase something.I was really pissed off and took my time as it was my right .When I got home,I noticed he charged me twice for one bag that I gotNot sure when he opened up this business ,he was told that in this great country customer service is the first.I will try to contact bbb to let them know how this guy is treating customers!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would!! The guy working here is a real ahole. I once walked in and there was a line of 6 people WAITING on HIM to finish cleaning out Iced Coffee machine. It was ridiculous! Ive been in here a handful of times and each and every time, he is miserable, doesn't say hi, doesn't give me my credit card receipt, etc. Never again! The worst 7-Eleven in the area. Unfriendly staff.... coffee is priced higher on refills for no reason. $1.29 as to .99cent to $1.09 everywhere else in the area. Just a bad vibe as to the others. They tend to follow people around the store like you're a criminal...terrible read more

I have lived in Lake Forest for 38 years. This has been my go to 7-11 when I want a Slurpee ever since I was a kid. I like this location better than the one on Trabuco and Lake Forest because its less busy. As a result, the Slurpee machines are less likely to be out of the flavors I like. I always go in and use the Double Gulp cups to get the biggest Slurpee possible on hot days. They have been charging me just over $2 each time but today when I went in, the price was higher so I looked closer at the charge and it said 2 medium gulps with a buck fifty nine each cost. WTF, so I ask him why he charged me for 2 drinks and he said in a snotty tone that the double gulp cup is not for Slurpees and uses more product. This is news to me since I have been doing it since they introduced those bigger cups. They also made the plastic domes big enough to fit on them for that exact purpose. This guy was a prick after charging me a buck more than usual. I have never had a issue with the clerks at any 7-11 store before, but I constantly see this guy getting into pissing matches with customers. Just last week some old dude was threatening to kick his ass because the guy behind the counter overcharged him for something and wouldnt return the difference. 7-11 is a franchise, you need to clean house on these guys and get some quality people in there. read more

I agree with a previous review about the salesperson Rana at this location as well someone else's about the guy who looked like Gandhi. I believe he no longer works there and I'm glad. I love going to this store because the owners too are really cool and will order any special item u may want but the best is indeed Rana ....a very respectable and respectful individual and whoever mentioned the smile was right ....he takes care and pride in his work and always has a smile read more

Great customer service. The sales associate RANA is the best. He is super friendly to everyone. He is always willing to make everyone smile. The only thing I dislike about this gas station is the fact that there are so many people who can't read the DO NOT ENTER signs, and will proceed to enter in the wrong direction. The machine made all these horrible sounds and seems like it's really old and is in desperate need of replacement. The entire time I had the fear that my car would get scratched or that the machine would break down mid wash. I also noticed that driving thru the blowers at the end to get the water and remnants of soap off didn't work very well. When I got home and took a closer look at my car and saw that the trunk had all of this soap drip marks streaking the back window and trunk, which I had to wet a chamois to get it all off. I will definitely stick with my usual places for any future car wash needs.

Lots of World Cup merchandise randomly and it's always so funny that the souvenirs for Irvine are ocean and beach themed when you're not even THAT close to the water but I guess it works in a pinch for those unfamiliar with California geography. I explain everything, they say "I don't know who worked with you, but the coupon works, but the item was never filled" - provide text showing it was filled, proceed to identify by name the 2 people who helped me troubleshoot on Friday, one of those identified claims "I never helped you"...after some pushback says "you declined the medication"...and the kicker, "the item is out of stock"... tl;dr First, they said it was $400, then they said coupon didn't work, then said they never helped me, then they say it was never filled. Then I prove it was filled, now they say they DID help me, but claim I declined it. Suddenly now the coupon works, it's $500, but it's out of stock? This place is a joke. Other things to note: The nearby hospitals send everyone here because it's 24 hours, so there's almost always a line. There are a few kind and patient staff members, but otherwise the rest are unhelpful and some will lie straight to your face.

I went in to buy a coffee. I often use bigger cups to make iced coffees at Seven Eleven. When I got to the counter, the dirt bag behind the counter told me that he would not sell it to me and then ripped the $5 dollar bill out of my hand and said that he would not give it back. I then told him that I did not want the coffee and to hand me back my $5 dollars. After we exchange some words and he threatened to throw his phone at me and call the cops (which I encourage him to do since he stole from me).
