Staff is attentive. Open on Fourth of July. Wide selection. Organic produce options are very good.

In my entire 46 years of grocery shopping, I have never had a worse experience than today. I shop this store frequently both in store and pick up. I arrived at the store today after my order said ready but I couldn't use the I've arrived feature for some reason. Instead I went into the store, spoke to several people, waited, was scolded by the staff twice, given no instructions on how to leave which resulted the theft protection locking my cart. I now have a leg knot the size of a golf ball on my leg when it brakes hard and my frustrated ass was just trying to go home. Thanks for making me look like a (paying) thief today! read more

I went in on January 28 and there was milk that had expired on January 27. I went in just for milk and all the milk options were either expired, were expiring the next day or within a few days. No options that was at least a week. I left and went to target and they had milk that would last at least a week or longer. I went to another Albertsons pretty close to this one a week prior and it was the same thing. Do better Albertsons! read more

Albertsons - Grocery Near Me - Irvine, California

"I never imagined I would have to write something like this after being a loyal customer at this Albertsons for over a decade. What happened recently was beyond unacceptable - it was disgusting, intimidating, and absolutely unworthy of a company that claims to care about its customers. The manager of this store is the embodiment of everything that should never be allowed in customer service. A tall, overweight man who sits around in filthy sandals, doing nothing but staring inappropriately at women. I was with my wife, and the way he looked at her was so predatory that she was visibly shaking. This is not just rude - it is harassment. When I stood up for my wife, instead of de-escalating, this so-called manager actually jumped up like he was ready to fight me - a paying customer. Behind him, another tattoo-covered man stood there like backup, fueling the intimidation. Tell me: since when is it acceptable for Albertsons staff to behave like thugs toward the very people who keep this store in business? And then, after all this, this manager had the audacity to tell me this would be the "last time" I shop here. The irony is laughable - because he's absolutely right. After 10 years of loyalty, I will never return to a store where the leadership behaves like predators and bullies. If corporate or ownership has any integrity, they will investigate this immediately. This is not just "bad customer service" - this is dangerous, hostile, and deeply disrespectful to the community. A manager like this is a liability to Albertsons and a disgrace to the brand. Customers deserve safety and respect - not harassment, intimidation, and threats. Shame on this manager, and shame on whoever allows this behavior to continue."** SHAME SHAME SHAME read more

I absolutely love this Albertson's location and a majority of the workers are nice, but I ran into one guy that was extremely rude to me and I'm writing this review strictly about him. Approximately 2:30PM on Sunday, September 21st, I asked him a product question - if they had the product and if they did, then where. Not only did he continue walking AWAY from me as he spoke, but he looked extremely unenthused and answered me in a rude tone. He did not help me whatsoever, did not WANT to help me, and I want to say I *think* he's a Caucasian manager in a black polo and I spoke with him near the self-checkout kiosks. He absolutely has no customer skills whatsoever and ruined my entire shopping experience today. Other than this rude employee, I love this location. read more

Nice store. No customer service what's so ever. Chicken tenders from the deli were nasty. Items are very expensive

Great store with a huge selection of products. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh, and the store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's also very convenient because it's close to my home, so I shop here regularly. I always enjoy coming here and definitely recommend this Albertsons. read more

Local grocery store although can be expensive with the rising cost of everything, this Albertsons is well stocked and has great deals with membership and the store app. It's a fairly large grocery store, although on occasion, some sale items do get messed up, but overall, it still has all the essential and you can find pretty much everything you need. There's a wine and liquor section by the right side of the store along with a flower shop, and then some pharmacy items as well. The produce section is no the left side with a deli and cake section as well. Usually at least one or two cashiers on hand depending on when you go and there is a self checkout option as well. Bright lights covering the space, meat and seafood section in the back and just all around a good grocery store to get your groceries. read more

Joe in the deli section provided excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about customers. Great attitude and great service--definitely made my visit better. read more

Great local grocery store in Quail Hill! I come often for simple groceries and wine. I do find it inconvenient that half the store is locked up in cabinets. I didn't realize there was such a high crime rate in this area. They do have good deals on wine, so I usually keep an eye on that. read more

Disappointing experience at a store I have been shopping at for 23 years. Managers are supposed to be leaders and are there to support their employees. What should not happen is an employee apologizing for the manager's complete lack of professionalism and lack of interest in being helpful to solve the issue. read more

Most food is expired or poorly handled. Most of the milk is always expired. Also a lot of very expired meat. Finally managed to find a package of chicken thighs that wasn't expired but when I opened the package at home the same day it smelled completely spoiled. It doesn't end there - most of the fresh pastas and dairy are also often expired and on the shelves. Truly lovely. I usually love Albertsons but something about this location is exceptionally bad. read more

Don't bother coming here for ANY kind of personal products. They are all locked up. I realize this is becoming a trend, but this is absolutely ridiculous. There has to be a better way to deal with this. Who has time to wait for an employee to come over to open a cabinet? What if I need to compare products? What if multiple people need things? All this does is send a message of "don't buy these products here." Why waste precious shelf space like this? I'm sure the manufactures don't like this either. What a joke!! read more

Grabbed a Rotisserie Chicken for a quick dinner. I probably should have looked at it first. Otherwise, it's a good store. Service is always good. One time the produce section was filled with a lot of older items but this last time I went, everything was fresh...except for the chicken. Again, I should have looked at it but, in all fairness, it should not have been sold looking like that. read more

Pro's: None Con's: Clueless employees, poor produce section, and consistent quality issues with expired products on the store shelves. Albertsons is also limited when it comes to premium product lines. Ralph's is a much better choice. read more

This is our local store for our community. We walk over there often. Everyone is always extremely kind, asking about my day, and always there to help if needed. Today I experienced another very kind gesture by a very kind man that is working at this location. I was so taken by the generosity that I didn't even asked for his name. It is so refreshing to see that level of kindness in today's world. read more

Great Albertsons! Much nicer than our local one in south OVC.. I am writing the review for their amazing wine selection. Unfortunately, I came here after I went to total Wine. I was shocked to see that Albertsons, by far, beat the prices for total wine. I literally compared exactly what I got at total wine with the Albertsons selection. It is a clean, well-kept store with friendly employees. If you are a wine drinker, I definitely recommend you coming here see photos! read more

I live walking distance so I go to this Albertsons a few times a week. They regularly sell expired food. I don't bother writing a bad review usually, but this has happened to me over 10x, so I am becoming concerned with the safety of their food. I bought a premade soup there yesterday (August 6th) and I just ate some and it tasted weird. I checked the date and it said use by July 14th, which is almost 3 weeks ago, so it's not even near the cut off by mistake. This happens regularly in the dairy and cheese sections. Additionally a few weeks ago I bought chicken breast there and the inside of it was green and slimy. I googled it and apparently it is still safe to eat and is an issue chicken get when they grow too quickly, but it is unappealing. I'm unsure if this is the suppliers fault though and not Albertsons, but it is compounded with the expired food issue that makes me turned off to the store. I did not eat the chicken after discovering this haha. Check all the dates before you check out there! A lot of times this happens when my husband goes, who doesn't check dates. Also, place is regularly understaffed. Since I go so much, I have become friendly with a couple employees, and they have all expressed it being understaffed. I also go at all hours of the day (morning noon night) and almost every time is the same people there. I feel bad, they must be working long hours, but throw out the expired food please. read more

i. have been shopping at Alberson's for many years in store and using their home delivery, although their prices are outrageous. The problem began when I became disabled.and had to use their delivery service.I have so many problems with their delivery service.People complain about finding my apartment,if you know how to use a map and speak English, you should have no problem. Many of these people, can't s English,They leave my groceries at other tenants apartments, and take a bogus picture, that it was left at my apartment.Recently, whoever did the shopping for me didn't read what I ordered. Most of my order was missing.I was given rotten vegetables.I was charged twice for two different amounts by Albertson's. I have had so many problems with my delivery ,until I have decided not to patronize this store anymore. When I call to inquire about my orders, their response is I can't find it,did you get it from this store,It is evident you don't want my business anymore, well you have succeeded, there will not be anymore of my money spent at your store. read more

I don't usually come to this location because I don't like the customer service here. From getting zero help at the liquor and dairy section to the rude employees at the meat counter, the only reason I gave two stars is cuz of the decent cashiers (one was Tessia?? with glasses). Today I just kinda have it with I think their manager . A short, bald man wearing glasses. I have seen him being mean as in scolding employees twice before. (Mind u, I don't even shop here much). He was impatient and rude when I inquired about the price and availability of sth. If he as an employee didn't know, who should I ask for assistance? read more

Excellent customer service by manager. Minor meat department issue quickly resolved. A++

Everyone here is so kind! I love this grocery store. Meat : The people here are truly wonderful, if they have the availability to meet your meat needs - they will do it! They sliced a roast into thin slices, because i wanted to make beef jerky. They fresh cut and trimmed some NY Steaks when they sold out on the shelf. They help make recommendations and provide great tips, like when I bought live clams and had no clue what to do with them lol. Deli : Always patient as you choose options and figure out what weight of everything you need! Grocery stores are important, because you usually go at least once a week. I definitely appreciate all the staff here and gotta say, they're some of the best people! read more

I like coming to this Albertsons because when there's a sale they are always stocked. It's a bit further than where I live but it's worth driving to when buying weekly sale items. Friendly staff all around. Store is clean and aisles are open. There's no self check out here so you will have to wait in line to pay. Located in Quail Hill plaza. Lots of parking outside. Deli counter was closed when I was there and had to buy pre-packaged meat. You have to check dates as some items were expired. Luckily I found a staff and they pulled the expired product. read more

I started coming here because it's conveniently located across the freeway from Kaiser. I noticed that this store is never really crowded, even during peak hours. There is plenty of parking as well and I always get a decent spot. This is a nice and clean market. They have a full bakery, deli, and butcher. I can spend a while wandering the aisles and maximizing deals. Tip: use their Albertsons app for extra discounts and read the weekly ad. read more

Albertsons - Phenomenal service in EVERY department. - Grocery Near Me - Irvine, California

I have not always been a huge shopper here as I find their regular prices to be quite high; but during this COVID 19 crisis they have been my favorite and safest store. Other than one day when a cashier was extremely rude (I'm sure it was stress) they have been very good at keeping everyone 6 feet apart, mandating mask wearing and each aisle is designated one way. Now of course there are still those people who ignore the signs but I truly see Albertsons trying to keep folks compliant and safe. They are also giving free bags which most other stores are still charging for. I will still say their prices are high compared to other stores but I will still shop there for sales and necessities. read more

I was lazy to drive so I went to this store since it was the closest grocery store in my area. I scanned 4 yogurts and didn't see the sale price as promised so I looked around to find an employee at the self check-out. He commanded "please finish and pay". I had no idea so I asked him and he looked down at me and said "finish and pay". Of course, but with common sense do you want to pay the full price that you see on the machine. At least he would have to explain the customer know how the discount would be proceeded after paying (???). Unprofessionally! read more

The one star is for Rosa in the deli ! She's great! I will be shopping elsewhere although they are close. I've become a fan of the drive-up grocery pick-up whenever I grocery shop and this specific Albertsons always goes above and beyond to ensure I am in and out in less than 10 minutes. They are very attentive and even sometimes have my groceries ready for earlier pick up. The process is quick and easy and if they need to do a replacement they reach out and confirm. Even if I happen to forget to check my phone they do an equivalent replacement for the ingredient to ensure I'm able to make my meals perfectly. Quick and easy service! A plus is the workers there are so kind. 100 percent recommend using their drive-up and go service. read more

Tucked away with lots of parking . The store is older. It's clean and has the worst layout I've ever seen. I will never shop at this store again. It was too frustrating to find the simplest things .
