After parking and making your way to this location (by Magz and Perspire), there are a few tables outside, but they were taken when I got there. Barista was friendly, and made my macchiato correctly according to my customization instructions. Restroom was clean, and there was plenty of seating available indoors, although this location is a bit smaller than others I've been to, so not sure how easy it would be to find a spot during workdays. read more

Service at this Starbucks has been consistently poor lately and it seems to be the same barista or group of baristas. The lady working the register seems so unfriendly and so unhappy to be there...literally moves so slow, zero sense of urgency - I don't expect immediate attention at all I know it's a tough job - but the impression she gives weirdly is she's being passive aggressive and doesn't want to work there. I was the only customer in in the shop and waited at the register to order a drip coffee...nobody took my order - after a minute or two the one lady eventually turned toward me and said only " wait a minute" and turned away and began poking around, opening and closing the oven, poking the sandwiches, putting on gloves (super slooooowly) looking around everywhere but toward the one customer they had....me. Honestly it was kind of bizarre at best and seemed outright rude ...Ignored me for a good three to five more minutes, never even took my measly order....A line of three people formed behind me. I eventually left without ordering because I had to get to work. I will never go back. Very sad. You guys should think about training your baristas to have a minimum level of friendliness- at least say "hi, I'll be right with you" when someone comes in.. and at least act like there's a tiny sense of urgency...especially when it's the only customer in the store...maybe you guys are putting your mobile orders ahead of your in-person customers? One of the better Starbucks locations in Irvine. Been visiting this one for a couple of years now. They have re-opened the seating inside so it's a pretty good spot to study, work, or chill. Their WIFI is good and the staff have all been nice from my experience. For anyone that is worried about long waits and/or are wanting to pick-up the drink and go, I'd recommend ordering ahead on the mobile app. The mobile app is also nice for customizing drinks too (ex. adding milk to coffee). Usually for hot brewed coffees, I place the mobile order after I arrive in the parking lot. Then by the time I walk in, it's usually done. The Frappuccino blended beverages may require a wait, but that's usually expected for blended drinks. Their coffee is all consistent across the chains from my experience, so I won't go into detail on the taste. But I'm a fan of their coffee quality and value. read more

The people here are super nice. I appreciate being greeted when walking in. My drink was made to perfection and the store was clean. This place sits on a corner space of a shopping center. There's seating outside if you want to read or meet with someone. The seating are wicker chairs with cushions that can be socially distanced apart. There are end tables and umbrellas also. There's a nice breeze being higher up in hills too. Plenty of parking. No drive through. I like this location for meeting with people. read more

This review is solely for Noel. I come to this Starbucks everyday and I love the service even though it's a high volume location. I typically pick up my coffee here before work. I came in today to pick up my coffee at the time it said it was supposed to be ready waited for 10 minutes then asked him if he could please check on the status of my order since I was going to be late to work. He literally was so rude and basically told me that I just have to wait because they were 25 minutes behind and there's no way for him to check my name. I even informed him that I was willing to come back once the order was ready on my break, considering the fact that they had already made me late for work . He was so rude and refused to help me. I waited another 5 minutes and asked another barista Daisy who quickly let me know it would be another 15 minutes. She was very helpful and professional. I left without my coffee and will be returning for it when it's ready. Noel lacked customer service and was very dismissive and even began to joke about his unwillingness to help me. I literally come to this place 5 days a week and was very upset by the way I was treated by him. read more

Love this location. Really fun vibe on the weekends. Staff have always been polite and sweet to me. And patient with my kids when they take their time ordering haha! Honestly, not coming here again. They haven't updated their menu so when I ordered, they weren't even sure they had it anymore and had to ask each other. Next, I also ordered food but that apparently got forgotten. I probably could have checked to make sure my food got added on but I also had enough rewards that I figured they just used my rewards on the food. So, I stand there for long enough and they studiously avoid interacting with me. Even to the point where I made eye contact and said excuse me and they looked away. They are consistently understaffed, consistently slow to fulfill orders, their mobile app consistently says it will take 10 to 15 minutes to fill my order and then it takes even longer than that, and they have a habit of just turning their mobile app order off when they are too busy. I come here weekly to chill and read when my daughter is at her art class, so I'm constantly overhearing and observing the way they are with customers. I am writing today to complain of the poor customer service my friends and I received from Candice. Of course, this made me disappointed. I always valued and trusted this location. But not this time. The ongoing issues began a few weeks ago after my friends snd i work out at the studio next door. We were quite satisfied with your company's service until we came across Candice. I've gone here 39 days in a row Monday thru Friday after early morning therapy at Hoag Hospital. It's now 100% clear why Starbucks is going and will continue to go into the tank. No CEO is changing this direction. They are so consumed by their internet orders they couldn't care less about the physical customer. Today was the final straw as the manager never made eye contact and continued to discuss internet orders with other employees that could also could not care less for the customers in their store and forgot she took my order. At least 12 people were becoming irate waiting but the employees had no idea they were waiting for orders 10 plus minutes. They kept their heads down and no employees spoke to customers while we all rolled our eyes. They wandered in and out but never acknowledged customers. I sat for 3 plus minutes in the front of the line before I was even greeted. After 16 minutes waiting for a coffee I finally said something and the manager never once said I'm sorry I forgot your order but said I started it but never finished it. This was the 3rd time in 2 weeks at this location and I said your service is garbage and I will never be back and she just stared at me. Starbucks, for your prices in today's economy, I suspect you won't be around too much longer and I have no intention of going back. read more

This is one of the cutest little Starbucks with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Outside they have plenty of comfortable sofa chairs with the big cushions. Inside they have 3 chairs and lots of tables. This is a great place to meet, do some work, or study. As for the service they are usually really good here. The baristas have been pretty consistent with my orders and always seem engaged in their work. I removed a star for cleanliness. It would be nice if Starbucks started to take a little more pride in this area but I won't hold my breath. read more
