These guys will be out of business just like all other Starbucks locations. Remember how it used to be when Starbucks coffee first became popular? You'd walk into a pleasant coffee shop vibe, and smell freshly ground, amazing coffee beans inside. Couches and comfortable arm, chairs with people saying, having conversations and working with further contribute to the amazing experience. Custom-made pastries from a local bakery and various teas that became available after Starbucks purchase Teavana war on the menu, inviting customers like myself for returning visits. What do we have now? There is nothing left to come back for. The atmosphere is gone. The espresso doesn't even taste like coffee anymore. There is absolutely no coffee smell inside. What the heck are they serving in those cups? All comfortable furniture got replaced by wooden chairs. Local pastries got replaced by some never expiring chemical factory produce exported from China. All the good teas are gone with only basics, remaining, black tea, Earl Grey, green, mint, and chamomile. This is a one star review. I gave it a second star only for how great and attentive the employees are. read more

Everyone is very friendly here and they're very efficient as well, we did not have to wait in line to get our latte. They have Wi-Fi and it's crowded with people working. It's a small Starbucks and they have free parking. Nothing exceptional, nothing horrible, just a regular Starbucks in a strip mall in Irvine read more

Never had an issue getting my customized drink at any other locations but these one. I order Starbucks on a regular basis at least 5x per week, like I mentioned Never had an issue till the past 3-4 times I had ordered at the Irvine spectrum location. I have to ho back to had them make it right, I tried giving them a few chances but after today I won't be spending my money here anymore even tho I work next door. I asked the barista to fill a little more of the cup since I'm used to getting it to the top, she replied with "you only paid for 3 shots of expreso" I showed her my past drinks which clearly are full. No wonder the have really bad reviews and bad ratings. Please stay away from this location. I got more foam than anything else. Hardly any caramel which I also asked for. They have seating available outside & inside. I always do mobile order & they have it ready quickly! Took 1 star off bc parking in this lot can be a nightmare, depending on what time you come... I really want to start doing this for Irvine spectrum stores to vouch for workers because as a food service employee myself, there are so many guests that forget they are being served by human-beings and many employees forgetting they are serving human-beings as well! That is why I would like to vouch for Sam for excellent customer service who made my morning by suggesting I add chai cold foam (I think?) to my iced horchata oat milk shaken espresso and it was delicious. She was super nice and thoughtful during my experience and hope to see her again the next morning I visit! read more

Abigail cannot handle a normal job. She has no sense of awareness and the urgency for customers. I asked for a water, and she was hesitant to give me water asking if I had purchase something previously. Than made me wait for 10 minutes to get my ice water. Things like this shows your work ethics and no sense of awareness and urgency for customers. I don't even know how she got hired. read more

I came in to get some work done, I ordered in house. The girl Adry who took my order was very disrespectful and lazy, refusing to make my order as asked. Which was a brewed coffee with steamed oat milk over ice. Claiming she couldn't put it in a glass cup with steamed oat milk?! She finally took my order, then delivering iced coffee in a glass no oat milk and said I could use the oat milk at the station! Following I asked for a wet napkin as using agave packets is messy. The barista whispered something and proceeded to get a cup of water directing me to get my own napkin. When calmly sharing I will be discussing this with a manager Adry burst out, What do you want me to do? I shared how simple it is to make a coffee with steamed oat milk and pour it over ice. Her response was the same, she can not put steamed "milk" in a glass claiming it will burst! Yet she put hot coffee in the glass? Again my request was incredibly simple and made to be a problem that didn't exist! Make the drink and pour it over ICE! The glass is not going to BURST! How absolutely ridiculous. As I continued my work I observed the manager on duty being fed food by Adry in front of customers which was BEYOND unprofessional and demonstrated the true lack of professional manners being operated at this location by this particular staff. Traveling all over southern Ca I have never had someone be so rude, disrespectful, lazy, ignorant, and unprofessional for such a simple request! I wouldn't recommend this location if Audry is working just expect unprofessional attitude! After coming the day before and having such a divine experience I was expecting to have the same today! This location raises their prices on their drinks. Service was okay. It was young kids all chatting and not one designated at the register to take your order. It said Reserves when you walk in but I'm not sure of they are still a Starbucks Reserves location and maybe the reason why they charge their drinks a lot more by 60¢ There was plenty of seating space in there, it was large. I am giving them 3 stars based on their customer service for not greeting me, not available when I was waiting at the register and for the higher prices. I rather go to another location where prices on drinks are roughly more reasonable and close to all other Starbucks locations. read more

I tried the new lavender drinks so you don't have to! Or do? I'm not a huge fan of lavender, but I like to try new things so take this review with a grain of salt. I wanted to try the iced lavender cold cream foam matcha, but I think they misheard me and gave me the lavender latte instead. It was pretty loud around the time I came by, so I don't blame them at all, I'll just have to try it another day. They had run out of oat milk today so I had it substituted with soy milk. ICED LAVENDER SOYMILK LATTE: The blonde espresso flavor kind of overpowers the lavender, so it's a bit muted but you do get an aftertaste of the lavender flavor. Not sure how I feel about this one, I think if you like their blonde espresso lattes and want a different twist then this might be a nice change. All I can taste though is burnt beans with an aftertaste of lavender. LAVENDER CREME FRAPPUCCINO: If you have a sweet tooth, this is kinda nice! It's reminiscent of fruity pebbles and the lavender flavor is much more prominent. Mine was a bit too icy, and was hard to sip because the ice chunks were too thick to go through the straw until it melted a bit more. I will definitely order this again but will ask for an extra scoop of lavender powder and double-blended. :) read more

This place needs to re-train its location's staff in Customer Service, horrible! I had a friend visiting from out of county and unfamiliar with Starbucks, she asked for a coffee with two shots, and the cashier was nothing but demeaning, unhelpful, impatient and rude when she had questions about the sizing of the coffee,. The service at this location is atrocious. My wife came in to ask for just *2 ounces* of hot water for my 3 month old baby's hot water, and they refused and said she'd have to buy something to get JUST WATER. I went back in to get some clarity on this and ask again, and they reiterated this saying it was new policy since end of Jan 2025. For 2 ounces of water. For a baby. Either all of Starbucks's service has gone down hill for a few bucks, or this location has the worst service I've ever encountered in a Starbucks worldwide - this coming from a Starbucks Rewards member for 6 years. I always order regular shots of espresso over ice for caffeine/energy and was pleasantly surprised when the employee, Margo, politely shared a fun fact about blonde roast being the strongest and asked if I would like to try it instead. She did so in a way that didn't make me feel pressured like the typical, robotic sales associate/food service worker would and I find that to be extremely rare. Always great service at this SB location. Because it doesn't have a drive through, they can focus solely on the walk-in business, which they do very well. There's a good-sized seating area inside plus lots of outdoor seating available. So clearly you notice when someone walks in. Now keep in mind I'm literally picking up a DoorDash. so I walked up to the designated area for pickups and a worker was standing there and she completely ignored me. finished making a drink, placed it in front of me, walked away and started aggressively making another drink. while looking at me too. and then as soon as I walked up to the register she looked at me and smirked and said "are you picking up an order?" ... like wtf? This is the 4 time I've gotten ice coffee at this location and it's taste burnt and once the coffee settles I can see "coffee grounds". I love the atmosphere and the seating. The location is perfect, especially if you wanna get some groceries or a bite to eat. There are plenty of choices in the plaza. I will now say that some of the Barista's are very busy but that doesn't give them the right to be rude or condescending when a customer has a request for an item. I asked for a little extra almond milk and I almost had my head bitten off. I simply stated my coffee needed a little more and her reply was; "well I didn't make it!"... Unfortunately I didn't get her name or it would be included in this review.. of course, I replied; " neither did I!" And I walked out. With the almond !!! Technically I should give a one star review, but this location happen to be next door to where I work and because of the proximity I do visit often enough where I cant allow myself to hate this place and cut off my ties. In the recent months they have missed my breakfast mobile food orders handful of times (I was told someone else might or could have picked it up), my drinks orders got missed few times, and today I had to repeat my 'venti pumpkin cold brew' order like 3 to 4 times and gave up and leave. May be this shall pass, and hopefully they learn from good people like John who works here on how to mean business and still be nice to customers! I would hate to hate this place! read more

Convenient location and great atmosphere, too bad my experience was ruined by an aggressive unfriendly SB employee. She was extremely rude and didn't have control over her child like bad attitude. She walked away while I was addressing her poor customer service and was in the back hiding from customers. Good thing she was in the back instead of creating more bad experiences for SB guests. Located off Irvine Center Drive in the Los Olivos Marketplace in Irvine. This SB is pretty nice there are a good amount of seating and room here everything is not squished to each other like the small SB locations. This would be a nice one to hang out at just gotta deal with the parking since this place can get packed with all the restaurants and stores. Overall one of the nicer SB I've been to. read more

Came in here today, it was double points today using your starbucks ap and purchasing items. The first time at this location and im impressed by the decore inside. Super inviting, the customer service was top notch, the person who helped me was super nice and friendly. The seating here is limited, with people studying, taking up entire tables with laptops. Rock music playing in the background along with the industrial chick ambiance is fitting. The location of this starbucks is in the shopping center next to whole foods, and 24 hr fitness. I could see myself coming here more often. Highly reccomend. read more

This Starbucks location is a bit hidden. The location has ample seating outdoors. There is a couple of spots inside, I noticed it was pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon probably because of the location but I didn't mind it! The drink came out quick. I ordered a holiday drink, my first of the year and it tasted ok. I ordered the caramel brûlée latte hot. I get it every year during the holidays and it usually is on the sweeter side but this time it was sweeter than usual. If you don't have a sweet tooth I suggest getting half sweetness because it can be a bit overwhelming. The service was ok. read more

Love Starbucks, would never write a review... because Starbucks is obviously bomb... always.. I'm writing this review because there is no option for a tip when people use debit or credit cards. This makes no sense as the majority of people use cards and not cash today. I feel sorry for the employees. Everyone is awesome here and STARBUCKS NEEDS THE OPTION TO ADD A TIP LINE FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES. Soooo manager should change their card readers and add a tip line.
