I thought it was because I added ice to my hot coffee (burned my tongue on it earlier this week). But, it tasted sour and as if the container wasn't rinsed out well after being cleaned. She said it was giving her a stomachache, and it tasted bad, that it was a waste of money. It's a shame because the one near my house doesn't have hazelnut, and instead only puts out spicy flavors. Also, my Gold Pass wouldn't work, even though I used it here before. It's been more than 24 hours as well, so not sure if it's an issue having to do with the fact that it's a weekend. read more

I had a very frustrating experience at this 7-Eleven on 15350 Alton Parkway in Irvine. There's a male employee (looks to be in his late 20s to early 30s) who seems to be there no matter what time I visit, and his behavior is consistently unprofessional. On my last visit, he completely ignored me at the counter, wouldn't respond when I spoke, and refused to remove an item I no longer wanted--even though the store was empty. He spent most of the time on his phone instead of helping customers. I also witnessed him being rude to another customer, especially when she was paying with EBT, which was uncomfortable to watch. Overall, the service here feels dismissive and disrespectful. On top of that, the beverages taste like the machines haven't been cleaned in a long time. Worst customer service ever! One of the cashiers refused to say his name is very rude and disrespectful, his customer service is BELOW ZERO he talked to customers by giving orders and pointing me, it happened two times and one of them was in front of the owner!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING!!!! Okay first thing first, from the time you walk in, to the time you leave, the short little mexican lady is the business! You will always hear her mouth (no offense) talking about what ever is on her mind. I know some of us find that un-professional, but come on now, its 711 dude! The coffee is already ready to go by 7am, it has a "Restroom" for customers, BIG BIG PLUS for some of us! The other guy, maybe indian man, hes legit, he always hooks up my wife with her points and gives us suggestions .of what to use the app for, so we dont come out of pocket! Been coming here for 6 years, I come approx 3 times a week to grab a quick drink, snack or whatever. Got some new employees every now and then. But today they had the audacity to tell me why I gave them a hard time over .70 cents. I'm sorry that I gave you $20 for a .79 cent big gulp and just needed change. But got $18.51 in return instead of $19 . Raja made things complicated and said I didn't enter my number when I did and was pending for him to verify it on his end as usual cuz he takes forever . The best part is that I even notify the staff calmly and quietly that their product is out of date. They had slim Jim's drier than the Mojave dessert that expired in 2020. So yeah imma complain about .70 cents cuz it another dollar bill I could have got that I needed. read more

There's another 7-Eleven in Irvine! For years, there was just the one on Culver and Deerfield and now there's one down the street from my work. Of all the items that 7-Eleven is known for, I go there for the ATM. That's right, the ATM. They have Citibank ATMs that are also on the credit union network. So if you belong to a credit union like I do, 7-Elevens across the country are great places to withdraw cash without ATM fees. This 7-Eleven has a simpler machine than others I've encountered that require you to type in your account number. Who has time for that? They also have slurpees, hot dog rolls, coffee, lottery tickets, and snacks galore. Sometimes a girl just wants a few Doritos or Flaming Hot Cheetos, you know? The staff is friendly, the floors are clean and this 7-Eleven is located in Irvine of all places. I've yet to see a police car parked outside but it'll happen. read more

If you need something quick from a 7/11 type convenience store and don't want to drive too far from where you are, and you're not in a rush, then definitely come here. The service is kind of terrible here, but since pretty much everything in Irvine is expensive, you definitely get what you pay for by coming here. I've been here several times and each time the clerks are either nowhere to be found when it's time for me to pay for my items, in the way because they're stocking something and they don't offer to step aside so you can get something from the fridge, you have to basically tell them to move, or they're in the back having a conversation while you wait by the register to pay and won't come to ring you up until you've been standing there a minute and are obviously frustrated. The only reason I'm giving more than two stars is because it's 7/11 and no matter how frustrating it is, it's still cheaper than a lot of other things nearby. I don't know of anywhere else in the area selling two large water bottles for $3. But when I find that place I'll definitely be going there and not here. read more

Came here for a free slurpee. It is located diagonally across the street from the Walmart. The procedure this time was that inquiring about it had the cashier show the proper model of the cup that was free, so I knew which one to get, and I didn't have to check out since I didn't buy anything. With no money spent and little to no verbal interaction required, I'd disregard everything other than what I did. So it's worth 5. (Of course, I would have just gone with 4 if I had to talk.) read more

I visited this location after getting of work at around 1am. What surprised me was how clean this location was especially considering how late it was. Everything was stocked and the gentleman working was very nice. The only thing that perturbed me was I went in for a bottle of water and a Coke Slurpee except the slurpee machine was not working. This could be a great location with the exception of Parking. It is a rather small lot and during "normal" hours parking can be a bear. read more

95% of the time the employees are very cordial, and very nice. The other 5% of the time, I feel as though I'm roped into very heavy (mainly politically oriented) conversations about the people in other areas of the world, not being able to access to whatever I happen to buy, every now and again. I still make my purchase, as I'm typically staying nearby for the evening and need something, but it pushes me away as a customer. It is simply very off-putting for any customer, and more so, for any that simply stop by to grab whatever they need. Whenever I visit this establishment, I happen to be staying at the Extended Stay or somewhere else, nearby. But I'm weighing in because I have had this happen a couple of times. I've come in to buy some water, and get an almost lecture about how other countries don't have access to their own water. I'm not trying to be an ass, but I don't need a lecture about how countries within our world don't have access to drinkable water, especially when I fully comprehend that people in our own country, as well, don't have that available. Despite the odd setup of the store, they have most items you'd expect in a 7-Eleven...except milk for coffee. As the cashier said: we don't keep milk out for coffee...you have to buy milk if you want it. read more

Coffee is good, cheap and no lines ( unlike Starbucks) literally every type of food imaginable from fresh fruit to frozen sandwiches . If you are in a hurry this is the best place to grab what you need and be on your way! read more
