Indian heavy set younger guy at the register tried to short change me, change was $4 dollars and 60 cents and gave me back $3 dollars (20c) two nickels and a dime thinking I wouldn't notice, luckily I counted my change before driving off. I went back in to confront him and he started talking in hindu to his other buddy and laughing, he finally just came to the register and gave another incorrect amount in smaller coins. I walked out and made a comment about him. Its not about the dollar and 40 cents but the principle and the audacity to do it intentionally. The Indian guy who is working graveyard shift always have the doors locked from 1 a.m - 4:30 am. Today I confronted him telling him that every time I come around 2 or 3 ish a.m for a redbull, he has the paper outside saying that they're cleaning which he's just sitting down on the cash register. read more

This has never been a very good or clean location, but when you need something quick, the brand recognition goes a long way. However, today I had one of the worst examples of blatant dismissal I've ever had at a place of service. This location started to keep their big gulp cups behind the counter due to the pandemic and they continue to do so to this day. I walked in and had to wait for the employee to walk back to the counter from wherever he was hiding. He then said that the soda machine wasn't working. I told him that I just wanted ice (I normally buy a drink separately from the cooler). Either way, you still have to pay for the cup, so it's not like I was asking for something for free. He repeated that the drink machine was not working. I asked him if that included the ice and he repeated himself again. I walked over and pushed the ice lever and, lo and behold, ice came out. I told him that the ice was working and that I would like a cup and he completely ignored me. He put his arm on the microwave and turned away dismissively. This was a squat, overweight man with a five-o-clock shadow. Frankly, he looked unwashed and I really didn't want him touching my cup, anyway. (Update: I see several people have had a problem with this guy. It's the same guy another Yelp reviewer, Susan, took a picture of.) Instead of begging to be a customer, I just left. I didn't check to see if the drinks were working because I just wanted ice, but they were probably working too. I'm very reluctant to pull the race card, but I fail to see what else it could have been in this situation. That man had no reason to refuse me service and lie about their functioning soda machine so that he wouldn't have to serve me. He's a pretty swarthy fellow himself, but I guess region and nationality figure into it as well. This is not the first time that I've had bad service here, but it was the first time that they were so blatant about it where there was no other explanation. I was literally the only potential customer in the place and the guy wasn't busy with anything else. So, yeah, this is a location I probably won't visit again unless there are no other options andbI really want/need something quick. Like I said, the place has never been the cleanest, but if you're getting pre-packaged items, it's not as bad. I would advise anyone who wants a clean place and nice service or who wants to stand in solidarity to stay away. read more

I asked what did I do wrong and he said just mark a line then I did it again using a line and then gave it back to me and said just do a little dot and I did just like what he said. Hispanic chubby worker that does the grave yard shift needs to be thought more customer service classes, he always has very bad attitude when it come to checking the items out. Upon customers arriving to the store he does not greet them and mad stares them. I have noticed this for the past weeks. Asking him a question and he replies rudely gives attitude. He decides to close early and kicks you out rudely saying the store is closed or the register will be closed, I asked him what time does he close because the doors are open and he continues to yell "I said it's closed you need to leave". This is a brand new 7 Eleven that was built by nearby where I live. It's a really nice place and the staff is super friendly, which is nice because I've been to some locations where the employee appears to be upset that they have to wait on you. I've worked retail and minimum wage sucks. I always say customer service is not an occupation for everyone. I hope this place remains nice and clean and the riff raff don't make it their new hang out spot. It's in a newly built shopping center so depending on what kind of businesses are being built will determine the overall outcome of that shopping center. All in all a hidden gem if you ask me because I don't see a lot of traffic going in and out of there. read more

It's July 1 2022 and I went to this store at 2:10am to get a couple of coffees and the place was dirty and the employee behind the desk was just sitting and watching his phone and never got up from his sit or look at me and when I approached to the counter he was rude and was charging more of what it really was cause they have the "special" of 2 for 6 and he was charging the regular price and couldn't ask me if I had a rewards card (I do have) or nothing he said it was because the taxes and just because his bad attitude I just left that place read more

They just opened this spot maybe 2 years ago and it's a gem in a neighborhood blighted by liquor stores and fast food spots. That's not to say that their selection is much different but it's nice to have something different, new life in the area. While I don't live in Gardena, my gamily does and it's been slowly and surely sprouting new businesses over the years. The staff is always nice. The store is always clean, and it's conveniently located between the freeway and much of Gardena. I always stop in the way to moms house. read more

I frequent this 7-11 almost everything and I have to remember to check in when I do so. I usually come between 4am and 6am in the morning, so most of the time, I am half sleep with a terribly attitude until I drink my coffee, lol. I have never had any issues with this 7-11 and when I come in they are always keeping the entire place clean. The customer service is totally fine, and they allow me to indulge in all the creamers, without jumping down my throat for taking a few creamers to go. The only negative thing I could say is that at time, coffee is out some of the mornings when I come, however the employee is quick with making more, so I don't be too upset. Lord knows I need my coffee though, so waiting allows me to control my only child syndrome of wanting what I want when I want it, lol. Nonetheless, the 7-11 is cool and well stock with all the junk food, and even healthy food! They have everything for the healthy person, and the person that just wants those bad calories. read more

I go to this 711 Frequently.. Usually you see like crack heads and stuff in front of 711.. So people like myself (Innocent white dudes) don't usually want to turn into the parking lot sorta deal.. But this one is nice and clean, in a brand new shopping center.. And for whatever reason, no sign of any crack heads in sight.. Which is cool! So yeah, guess you can feel safe at this one.. And the workers are cool too, one guy in particular gives such good service, honestly brings my mood up every time! He's like "Hey, you have a good day today, ok? The current staff SUCKS. The main guy is so rude, it is unbelievable. He constantly ignores customers. He will let a line form while he plays with lottery tickets. He is always on his phone. I work down the street from this 7 eleven and I must say I really like it. They keep it well clean and managed so every time I go there on my lunch break its spotless and the manager is a cool guy. They have a variety of foods, snacks, and beverages to choose from. The location is convenient for me which is always a plus. I will l frequent this place often. read more

The convenience and liquor stores all around town have similar products, but 7/11 is the best place to go for great snacks. There is no other place that gives you the convenience and variety that 7/11 offers. The cashiers are very friendly and they do not create an uncomfortable environment while looking around, especially while browsing the magazine rack. I noticed that 7/11's do not carry the same variety of coffee, but I'm always able to find one that I like. read more
