Great service!! The store attendant went out of his way to make sure that I left with fresh and hot coffee. Greatly appreciated.

The lattes here are sweeter than savory but delicious, topped with thick whipped cream... I think it is homemade whipped cream, but whatever they do, they definitely aced it very well. - Habibi latte: very scrumptious! It is a must-get, although it's a seasonal drink, so it may not always be available...alas! Pretty sweet and almost like eating some Dubai chocolate as you drink it... worth the adventure! - The Bear Necessities: I was very impressed with this latte. I had low expectations, as most cafes can't perfect the dark art of latte for every latte drink on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks... But girl, I was proven wrong and I enjoyed this drink so much! It came with thick whipped cream topped with one graham cracker bear and crumbled graham crackers... The flavors were cinnamon and honey and reminded me of cinnamon crunch cereal in some ways, but of course, it wasn't too sweet though! I was tempted to order another one... The sandwiches (1 roast beef and 1 grilled turkey) were just average if you ask me to compare these with other sandwich specialty shops... next time, I'd try something else! Overall, no complaints as I'm impressed with the coffee options, especially the seasonal drinks! Service was good and quick. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and very accommodating to ensure she got our orders right. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning which was surprising. Lots of seating at the outdoor patio as well! Very spacious.

Great for a post-(long) run meal before I hop on the metro back to DC! The lattes are on the sweet side but delicious, thick, creamy, and very innovative--worth it. The food? Not so much, but still decent. I tried the following: - Habibi latte (hot with oat milk) - delicious!! Definitely a must-get. It was quite sweet but really reminded me of Dubai chocolate. Really amazing how they nailed down the flavors. Perfect for chocolate lovers and very unique and innovative. Presentation was also excellent, with a generous amount of whipped cream. - The bear necessities - equally delicious latte and really cute presentation too, with a graham bear cracker on top! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon-flavored drinks, but this one was more subtle. It was so thick and richly flavored that the cinnamon wasn't overpowering for me. I was very impressed. - Roast beef sandwich - meh okay. It was supposed to come with ciabatta bread (which I think would've tasted way better), but apparently, there was none that day, so I got it with sourdough bread. - Turkey sandwich - I got it served hot with sourdough bread, and my partner and I enjoyed this one more than the roast beef sandwich. The roasted red peppers were a nice addition to the sandwich. The accompanying salad with the sandwiches was fine, nothing special. Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning, and the outdoor patio was cute and spacious.

I first fell in love…read morewith Grace Street Coffee Roasters in college, when I would visit their OG location in Georgetown's Grace Street every Friday morning. Now that I've moved a bit further away from campus and no longer have a ton of time on Friday mornings, I've been feeling nostalgic about my old university favorite. So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

Thought why not both? Meter parking all around should be easy to get if not on a Sunday. Not far away from a church is why: Overall coffee is not bad, I've had better around the area, so does the matcha. I'd come back for a quick coffee stop. There are other locations that may be an actual cafe shop. I think?

I've been here twice and disappointed both times. The weekend hours are a bit odd as the kitchen sharply closes at 4pm and the staff isn't that friendly. I ordered the Avocado Tartine. While the Avocado Tartine looked like a beautiful and vibrant work of art, it was all show and no substance. It's cringing there's an upcharge for a sunny-side egg for avocado toast (reluctantly paid for it! ) as well as the herbed feta (I passed on the feta cheese). The avocado was under ripe and the toast was burnt on the edges. While I appreciate receiving 2 large pieces of toast, it wasn't worth paying over $15 for such a simple dish poorly executed. The Shashuka weekend special was okay, and wish it came with warm whole wheat bread. The Papa's Bowl was overloaded with home fries and not enough eggs, avocado or sauce. The Martha Stewart Pomegranate Punch (non-alcoholic) and the boozy Rockaway Rhubarb Daquiri were both good. The S'mores cookie was the best part of the meal! Will come back just for the pastries and the boozy drinks!

Yummy coffee flight and a huge menu selection!…read more The gentleman at Baruch Cafe makes thee best espressos. The coffee flights are well worth the price. So good; I got two flights during my first visit, went back a week later to take my daughter. This will be a stop when I'm in the area or want a tasty coffee flight. My favorites in order: - Bon Bon: be sure to mix it before you drink. All the good stuff needs to be blended with a few stirs. - Honey: this reminds me more of a tea. I'd would drink this at the end of the flight which makes sense where it's placed. - Biscoff cappuccino: the cookie is a nice treats to bite and drink. My daughter ended up letting hers melt in the cappuccino which still ended up tasting good. - Pistachio: I love the tasty pistachio around the rim of the cup. A taste with each sip is yummy. - Tiramisu: this was good with the cookie. Another nice treat with each sip. - Affogato: you can't go wrong with ice cream so it hard to place this further down the line. - Nutella: it can go either way; mixed or just wast for yummy Nutella along the way as you drink. - S'mores: this was simple yet I do appreciate the marshmallows. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and filling. The chicken empanadas were delicious. Pick a cozy seat at a couch or table seat to enjoy your food and drinks. This place is highly enjoyable to have a cute breakfast, snack or drink while solo or with family or friends.

I wanted to try everything, but ended up with a Peruvian coffee with the lavender "cloud" the coffee by itself is kind of bitter so the cloud flavorings are a must have. The breakfast sandwich was yummy and had some kind of delicious cheese. We also got a passion fruit drink which tasted fresh and a dulce de leches croissant which went well with the coffee. The gentlemen working brought everyone their food and drinks which was nice. It was a little slow so I don't know if that always happens, but I was feeling extra lazy so I'm glad it did. There's some street parking around but it might be good to find a garage and just walk over. I definitely want to come back and try the creme brulee croissant, they were out when I was there I guess it's popular.
