This store is extremely busy each time I go. The ice cream is amazing. Even in a crowded store I have had great customer service. I wish they had a bigger store to support their bustling business. If you like ice cream this is the place to visit. It will not disappoint.

I have lived in the area for a long time. This place has existed longer than I like to admit. In a good way. I have been here several times over the past year and the customer service has been friendly, patient, and very helpful. The selection of cakes in their freezer is far better than most within a 10 mile radius. They look fresh and no freezer burn. You can also get clown cones, very cute for the kids or kids at heart. Me! Guilty. They keep this store very clean and as busy as it gets that is impressive. If you see a line, just wait, they are very good at getting you in and and out with a nicely put together cone, cup, sundae, etc. The finished product looks like the picture. Thankfully. Their is minimal seating inside if you want to eat in. I recommend to come on in and cool off! My favorite is 2 scoop fudge sundae. 1 scoop of jamoca almond fudge and 1 mint chocolate chip. Yummmmmm

After going to a DD/BR combo store and finding out that you can't order from the complete Baskin Robbins catalog at a combo store, I went to the BR location in Kensington where I was able to place an order for the specific ice cream cake I was looking for - the Chocolate Indulgence. The folks behind the counter were very helpful in taking my order and letting me know what my options were and, less than 24 hours later, the cake was ready for pick-up. When I went to pick up the cake, the lady helping me opened up the box and asked me to take a look at the cake, to make sure it was to my liking, and indeed it was. The cake was a big hit, thanks to the great people at Baskin Robbins Kensington!

The amazing flexibility of B&R Kensington staff! Made my 8 year old's birthday party perfect and much more memorable.

Not much to review here except for the service---it's standard BR fare but service is excellent and the staff is very friendly!

Cute, trendy, clean establishment in a family friendly, safe area. We enjoyed every bit of our orders. No complaints about the service. I was sooo impressed, I even bought a t-shirt. Known for the build your own ice cream sandwich, it offers a variety of ways to enjoy your sweet treat. You can build a sandwich with the cookie of choice, have your ice cream via a bowl with cookie or brownie, or go for a classic waffle cone. Once you choose your preference and flavors, they allow you to add additional toppings such as heath bar crumbles, hot caramel and more. The first time I went I got a cookie sandwich with caramel. It was wayyyyy too rich and sweet for me but very enjoyable. The second time I went I got classic waffle cone with caramel pretzel fudge ice cream (which is now my go-to). There's not a time when I go that the service is lacking. The staff is consistently friendly. They also have drink options to wash down all the sugar. Inside, There are only 2 dine In tables, however, they do offer bar like seating inside and bar seating and dining tables to enjoy your treat outside (weather permitting). I definitely recommend this spot. Who doesn't love ice cream?! Welcoming for all ages and demographics, the experience is always good when I go. And service is always quick! Recommend!

From the…read morestart, it looks like Caramelo is a the place to be since there were a lot of people were picking up their orders. I think there were about 12 people in line ahead of us. Although it was the place to be, I did notice that ordering and pick up was a bit unorganized. I think it would have been more efficient if one person was ringing up the orders, and the other two people were collecting the orders. I mentioned that because when it was our turn to order, we received two significantly different prices for the cake that we were interested in. Of course, the cake ended up being the higher of the two prices. For our order we went with the tres leches cake. It was kind of interesting because I've never seen (or made) tres leches in a cake form; I've only seen it served in a pan so the excess milk would not leak out of the cake. That said, the cake was AMAZING. It was so amazing that one of party guest who isn't a fan of cakes/desserts went back for seconds. I definitely look forward to trying more items from this bakery. Interestingly enough, I really want to try the bakery's roll. I said this because most of the folks picking up orders were picking up trash bags full of these rolls.

This time, I didn't dine in--I placed a to-go order, and the young lady at the front was super nice and welcoming. I ordered the Caruso Alfredo, which is made with truffle butter. I tried it in the car and was immediately disappointed that I didn't dine in because WOW--the pasta was fresh, and the truffle butter was a hit! It's such a simple dish, but it has so many amazing flavors packed into it. Easily a 10/10 and definitely going to be my go-to order, especially as someone who is semi-picky. The restaurant has plenty of seating, along with an outdoor bar and seating area. Everything was clean, and I loved the old-school, unique pasta-house feel of the restaurant. I definitely can't wait to go back--and next time, I'll be dining in!

I had the Gnocchi Alla Genovese ($24.25). They were ricotta dumplings tossed in a pesto cream and toasted pignolis. I never saw gnocchi so small. They were very tiny and cooked nicely. The pesto cream was generous and appetizing while the toasted pignolis added a much-needed crunch factor. I also tried the drunken veal parmigiana and carbonara special which were both specials I believe. The veal was topped with vodka sauce with a side of pasta. This was solid. The vodka sauce was flavorful but could have been a little spicier. The veal was tender but there needed to be more seasoning present. The pasta was tasty too. The carbonara had shrimp that were cooked ideally and was just a well put together dish. Again, the pasta was cooked to my liking. Will I go back? I would.
