One sunny weekend when the temperature was hot, I thought since I was in the area, I would come and try something different. As I drove in the lot, I could tell the place was busy (a line in their drive-thru and lots of folks at the entrance (ordering or picking up, I was not sure). I was willing to wait. I saw they had some June specials and a few caught my eye: Brookie - Upside Down Pineapple Cake Jamaican Me Crazy Key Lime Pie Mixed Berry Cheesecake Strawberry Matcha Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Ube There were some others, but I could not decide on which one I wanted (wished I could try all the above). I settled on the one called "Jamaican Me Crazy". The employee described it as: Coconut Ice Cream with Fudge Swirl and Almonds. I only got 1 small scoop since I was trying it for the first time - it was good. Next time, I will need to get 2 scoops as I really enjoyed the flavor of that one. The line in front went very quickly as I sat and ate my ice cream on the premises. There were several employees tending to the customers. Bruster's is a great stop for some summer ice cream! It's a grab and go kind of place but they have outdoor seating sprinkled around. I noticed they added more lawn chairs since the weathers nice! The staff is always helpful and quick at serving orders. They have a bunch of flavors to pick from and honestly it can be sort of a hit or miss. The classics are always great though like the cookies and cream or butter pecan. I got the cherry vanilla and honestly that's my bad because I thought it would be real cherries not maraschino cherries lol. The mixed berry cheesecake was so good though, it had a mixed berry jam and graham crackers swirled throughout. The pistachio was another slight miss for us. I appreciate the amount of pistachios sprinkled throughout but the base was giving amaretto/almond flavoring as opposed to a true pistachio ice cream. (I also don't like amaretto) so that doesn't help lol but overall glad I tried the flavors and now I can try different ones next time! read more

I'm a long time fan of Bruster's! Today I tried their strawberry matcha which is part of their spring 2026 menu. It was essentially their strawberry ice cream and matcha put together. The strawberry flavor was very strong, so much so that I couldn't really taste the matcha. So it's good if you're a strawberry ice cream fan! I did like how it wasn't too sweet. David had the Caramel Brownie Batter. It is very caramel-y. The brownie bits are very much ooey gooey batter-like rather than solid brownie chunks. I do think the single scoop is a bit overpriced ($5.20 something) which was only $.70 cents less than David's double scoop. read more

First time visiting this Bruster's location, which is a standalone building with a drive through and walk up window in the shopping center. When I arrived, there were a couple of cars in the drive through. I walked up to the window to order, and the friendly staff recommended the seasonal black raspberry chocolate flavor, which she let me sample. The ice cream was very creamy and had chunks of chocolate chips Very tasty treat on a warm summer day, and the waffle cone was good. Been a while since we have been back to this place. It is busy as always. I recommend parking further away to not be in the crosshairs of the cars that are waiting for the drive through. I remembered this place having overly sweet options, but this time around, I ended up getting flavors just at the right sweetness. I tried the Ube flavor and the Strawberry Matcha flavor. Both excellent choices. They make it so quick. Oh! Don't be daunted by the amount of people because they move fast and most people stick around to eat their ice cream before leaving. So it may look like a lot of people, but they aren't all waiting in line. So I have been around the ice cream block several times now and I have to say this place has the most variety for the value and freshness. The downside for me is how busy and loud it can be here that could end up making the experience less pleasant. When we were here, cars were revving and honking. Kids screaming and running around. And it was hard to have a peaceful chat while having ice cream. This in turn made us hurry up and finish the ice cream so that we could leave. This has to do with the location and the population density here. Nothing on Brusters but still a consideration if you plan on visiting. read more

I was hoping to really love this ice cream spot but it was just ok. Located in the parking lot of a strip mall, they do have a lot of flavors to choose from. A lot of them are a bit over the top, so if you like ice cream which has lots of stuff added, it might be for you. An example is the coffee oreo. I've had this many other times which I've liked when the oreo pieces are small and just add flavor. Here, they are almost half pieces so they dominate both in terms of size and flavor. I had a waffle cone which was good. They have waffle cups and the usual other cones and bowls. The ice cream itself was reasonably creamy, however it was already melting when it was served. Granted it was a hot day outside, but it was very melted before it even got in my hands. That isn't great. One other knit was that the server didn't give any napkins out. I had to go back to ask for some and by then, it was a runny mess making it less enjoyable to eat. Overall, it was ok, but given how many other ice cream places exist, I don't think I would return. read more

While I remember Mixed berries Cheesecake and not arouse about it; matcha?! I don't think I've seen an Asian style tea before which I'm intrigued to try. Oh my word, what a surprise! I got myself ready that it could be too sweet or odd matcha flavors, I've had too many places that make matcha ice cream and either made it too strong that made it bitter, or not creamy enough cause it's a "tea ice cream", or worst is too sweet cause they want to cover that bitterness of not using high quality matcha. Bruster's Strawberry Matcha was perfect! It's creamy, not too sweet, matcha strong but not bitter, and the strawberry also, has some strawberries sandy seeds in it! It's perfect spring flavor ice cream! The texture and the creaminess really surprised me. I think this might be my new go-to flavor! Overall I say you definitely should try them. I always get it in a cup no toppings needed, it's that good, to me. There's a solid variety of flavors, and the ice cream quality is always on point. If you get there early, there's outdoor seating available and plenty of parking, which is a big plus. Now for the not-so-great: the line is always long!!! especially in the evenings or on weekends. The drive-thru? Even longer. Service is fine, but when they're slammed, you can't expect too much. Honestly, I recommend doing online pickup to skip the wait and just grab and go. Super easy. A nostalgic experience of waiting in line around the cute red building and deciding which flavor to try as they frequently change new flavors. My fave is strawberry and I usually do a 2 scoop waffle cone. I do one of my go to strawberry and one of a new flavor. Last time I tried the banana pudding new flavor and was not disappointed. Also - the line is usually very long during prime times but the staff never let it get to them. They are so friendly and move the line quickly. May i recommend little hand flags for the cashiers ? I notice sometimes these wonderful employees have to yell multiple times to get next in line to their window. I bet after all the customers they have sore throats after work. I felt like a child again, with my ice cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and dinosaur cookie. The people who took my order were so sweet and had my order ready in a jiffy. My ice cream flavor has bits of graham crackers laced throughout. Some people eat breakfast for dinner, I ate my sundae, before dinner. It was cool, creamy, and refreshing. Line moves fairly quickly except when people can't figure out what to get even after standing in line in front of several menu signs for at least 15 mins. WTF people!
