    Red Raspberry gelato

I throughly enjoyed my experience here! The staff were really helpful at giving recommendations and creating cute designs for my espresso.

Dolcezza is heaven on earth in gelato form. Dense and intense, yet light and airy. Silky and smooth, yet crystallized and earthy. I can't even describe it, it's something you have to experience.

I tried their seasonal banana spiced iced Matcha and it was delicious. Also try their apple cider and their pumpkin chai. The parking was perfect. It was close to the location as well as the space. It was very clean and welcoming. Maria was very nice and friendly and allowed me to try different flavors of the gelato I love the pumpkin pecan gelato. I also purchased some gelato to go. They actually have really great tasting coffee. Definitely will be back again.

Yumm!! Definitely on the pricier side of gelato ive gotten but their pistachio is so dense and one of my faves. Their scoops are pretty big and the workers were very patient and kind, especially with us sampling different flavors ;) Looking forward to coming back and trying their matcha!

A solid gelato spot for when you're craving dessert in the area. I enjoyed the Roasted Strawberry which was basically a stronger strawberry flavor than normal and thought the stracciatella flavor was solid as well. Service was friendly and were helpful in explaining the different flavors.

Might be one of my favorite gelato places. On the pricier end but its worth it. Fruit flavors are very refreshing. Andrew my buddy who loves sorbey type gelato's was born again from this

Marscapone & Berries Gelato in a Cone

I think I found my new favorite dessert! I came to Dolcezza after having dinner at Hawkers next door, and the space is absolutely adorable, with super friendly workers encouraging me to sample different flavors and sharing their personal favorites. I ended up going with the Marscapone & Berries in a cone, and my LORD was that incredible! The gelato was delicious and rich, and the berry sauce swirled throughout gave it a nice extra kick of sweetness every few bites. The portion was surprisingly big, but of course I finished it all because it would seriously be a sin to leave any behind. I was devastated to learn this is a local chain to the D.C. area and I won't be able to have it again any time soon, so if you're a local I urge you to take advantage of how lucky you are to live near a Dolcezza and stop by to try it!

Tried the blueberry matcha as a big matcha lover, but found the blueberry syrup a bit overpowering. The drink ended up tasting more like a blueberry milk than a traditional matcha. I'd definitely try it again with less syrup to let the earthy matcha flavor shine through more.

King Leo Peppermint Mocha The espresso was smooth, the milk was frothed perfectly, just the right amount of peppermint on top. Delicious and a work of art! Ana out did herself, even with the espresso machine acting up. Make sure you get Ana to make you your lattes, fantastic barista! Highly recommend. #ThisFeedsMySoul

Haven't been here in a while but always great to try on a hot summer day! Service is great! Flavors are yummm!

I was running some errands in the area and happen to be craving something cold and to my surprise I saw someone walk by me with delicious looking I cream from Dolcezza so I searched the place and went to grab some myself right away. It's a cute place with some standing and sitting room to enjoy your ice cream. The staff were very friendly! They do have a lot of options for gelato and iced/hot coffee options, they also have matcha. I got the small size which comes with 2 scoops, I chose the coffee and cookies and the hazelnut crackle, which was a really good choice. It was not the BEST gelato I've ever had, which my favorite spot the gelato is very creamy, but Dolcezza is a great alternative, I would go again. The area is also very nice, so you can grab your gelato and enjoy it sitting by the benches right in front of it, especially in a hot summer day.

    Mascarpone & Berries Small Gelato

It was nice to walk around Besthesda Row with a few of my friends this past Friday evening and exploring the MD area more. While walking around, we saw Dolcezza and suddenly everyone was craving gelato. There was a decently long line given the nice warm weather. SMALL GELATO - 6.05 You can get up to two flavors but I was wowed by the "Mascarpone & Berries" flavor that I got only that. I'm not usually a gelato fan but this one was great! I liked the mascarpone base and the berry chunks/filling gave it a nice tart twist. It was also not too sweet and the perfect dessert for me. There was a lot of seating outside of Dolcezza where my friends were able to sit, talk, and enjoy our gelato. Overall, I'd recommend Dolcezza for a delicious gelato. $6.05 for a small scoop is a tad expensive, but nowadays, everything is just ridiculous.

The staff was kind enough to offer several samples to help me choose the right flavor. I ended up with the coffee flavor, which was delicious! They have so many unique flavors that I've never seen before, and I'm looking forward to going back to try more!

The lattes here are sweeter than savory but delicious, topped with thick whipped cream... I think it is homemade whipped cream, but whatever they do, they definitely aced it very well. - Habibi latte: very scrumptious! It is a must-get, although it's a seasonal drink, so it may not always be available...alas! Pretty sweet and almost like eating some Dubai chocolate as you drink it... worth the adventure! - The Bear Necessities: I was very impressed with this latte. I had low expectations, as most cafes can't perfect the dark art of latte for every latte drink on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks... But girl, I was proven wrong and I enjoyed this drink so much! It came with thick whipped cream topped with one graham cracker bear and crumbled graham crackers... The flavors were cinnamon and honey and reminded me of cinnamon crunch cereal in some ways, but of course, it wasn't too sweet though! I was tempted to order another one... The sandwiches (1 roast beef and 1 grilled turkey) were just average if you ask me to compare these with other sandwich specialty shops... next time, I'd try something else! Overall, no complaints as I'm impressed with the coffee options, especially the seasonal drinks! Service was good and quick. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and very accommodating to ensure she got our orders right. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning which was surprising. Lots of seating at the outdoor patio as well! Very spacious.

Great for a post-(long) run meal before I hop on the metro back to DC! The lattes are on the sweet side but delicious, thick, creamy, and very innovative--worth it. The food? Not so much, but still decent. I tried the following: - Habibi latte (hot with oat milk) - delicious!! Definitely a must-get. It was quite sweet but really reminded me of Dubai chocolate. Really amazing how they nailed down the flavors. Perfect for chocolate lovers and very unique and innovative. Presentation was also excellent, with a generous amount of whipped cream. - The bear necessities - equally delicious latte and really cute presentation too, with a graham bear cracker on top! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon-flavored drinks, but this one was more subtle. It was so thick and richly flavored that the cinnamon wasn't overpowering for me. I was very impressed. - Roast beef sandwich - meh okay. It was supposed to come with ciabatta bread (which I think would've tasted way better), but apparently, there was none that day, so I got it with sourdough bread. - Turkey sandwich - I got it served hot with sourdough bread, and my partner and I enjoyed this one more than the roast beef sandwich. The roasted red peppers were a nice addition to the sandwich. The accompanying salad with the sandwiches was fine, nothing special. Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning, and the outdoor patio was cute and spacious.

So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

It's cringing there's an upcharge for a sunny-side egg for avocado toast (reluctantly paid for it! ) as well as the herbed feta (I passed on the feta cheese). The avocado was under ripe and the toast was burnt on the edges. While I appreciate receiving 2 large pieces of toast, it wasn't worth paying over $15 for such a simple dish poorly executed. The Shashuka weekend special was okay, and wish it came with warm whole wheat bread. The Papa's Bowl was overloaded with home fries and not enough eggs, avocado or sauce. The Martha Stewart Pomegranate Punch (non-alcoholic) and the boozy Rockaway Rhubarb Daquiri were both good. The S'mores cookie was the best part of the meal!
