I was around the area looking for matcha and stumbled upon this cafe. The interior is cute with nice designs and decor. I ordered the strawberry matcha without taking a close look at the menu. It was around $13.95 so a bit steep for matcha. I asked for it sweet, but the sweetness level was very subtle. It tasted very watered down. I've had ceremonial grade matcha before, but this did not really taste like matcha at all. Plus whatever foam was on top melted very fast so you don't get as much drink. There's a few tables outside as well but it's located right under the stairwell which gets a lot of foot traffic. They have a wide variety of sandwich wraps and smoothies but they're quite pricey. It was expected though since they use a lot of fresh ingredients. I ordered the turkey and egg wrap which I thought was quite filling for lunch. There was a hint of sauce that wasn't too overpowering and perfect for a healthy wrap. However, the smoothie I ordered was a bit watered down from all the ice but still tasted decent. There's valet parking located in the back of the building but we prefer the street parking in the neighborhoods or metered parking along the side of Walmart. read more

Food is tasty and healthy, but pricey. I'd say portions are on the smaller side. I've had the turkey avo sandwich and the umami egg dashimaki, and both were good, and I felt good about eating them. However, the one time I got the dashimaki sandwich, I added avocado for $3 and probably will not do that again... The order comes with 4 little sandwiches, and the amount of avocado in each was sad...you can see for yourself in the photos...and all of them were like that... I'd get the sandwich again though! I think it had a mustardy spread. The chocolate banana nuts cake is really nice! Satisfied my sweet tooth, and I didn't feel guilty after. Would definitely get again. Like a flourless chocolate cake? The smoothie was tasty, and banana was the prominent flavor. It had a nice thickness that allowed me to drink slowly. The cashier made the smoothie and brought it to my table. I appreciated the relaxing ambience with slow music playing in the background. Inside, the booths had a lot of comfortable pillows. I also liked looking at the many decorative trinkets. Interestingly, when I paid with card, the point-of-sale system prompted me with many questions asking for identifying information about myself. But boy, did I feel great after. Overall, delicious and super healthy, but pricey for size. Came here in hopes of having a nice drink and maybe some lunch while I got some work done on my laptop. Come to find out they don't have wifi so I had to go somewhere else. So I've seen this place a few times on TikTok. I guess they cater to tourists though because I didn't see a single local person. Even the staff is all from Japan. They offer mostly fresh fruit juices and smoothies. They also have acai bowls. The drinks and bowls are very expensive. A banana smoothie will run you about $13. I found the inside to be cute at first, but while I was waiting for my drink, it just looked cluttered. They use a lot of fake flowers for decor and it makes me cringe thinking of all the dust that gets accumulated. I left disappointed. I wish there were more locally owned businesses in the area and businesses that catered to people who actually live here and need to get work done. Came here with a group of six friends, and honestly, I left feeling disappointed and scammed. I ordered a matcha latte with a float of homemade strawberry sorbet, it sounded amazing on the paper, but unfortunately, it wasn't. The drink tasted more like muddy water, and the sorbet was full of large ice chunks with barely any flavor. I had only one sip and left the rest on the table. To make it worse, the total came out to $20 for a matcha served in a plastic cup! I've never encountered that price for a matcha before, even at some of the nicer cafés here on Oʻahu (and I live here!). To start off the matcha was the most expensive matcha i have ever ordered .... $14.61 and contemplated buying- but decided to support this business! Feels like i paid almost $15 for just watered down milk.... The color was nearly white and i basically paid for an iced watery milk with strawberry and a sprinkle of matcha. It had no matcha flavor at all like the matcha is being rationed or something. Just didn't get what i paid for at all. Could've bought two actually good quality rich matchas almost anywhere else for that price. Contemplated saying something like asking for another scoop or matcha or a refund because i literally received watery milk, but was so taken back at the sight/taste of this matcha it should not even be on the menu ESPECIALLY for that price. Took one sip and walked back home to add my own matcha to it. Would be less taken back if it actually tasted like matcha.... I got the jumbo shrimp sandwich there most recommend item with added avocado and it was delicious and very unique! Also got the detox smoothie but they have plenty of variety and to top it off right before I left they gave me a sample for the skin care line they sell (CONJU) I got the "princess lifting mask" and loved it will be trying some of there other products. I stumbled upon this new cafe in mid March, and it was a few days before their Grand Opening! I was greeted by worker Saori who was behind the counter and asked what her favorite menu items were. She said the Energy Green Smoothie was good so I ordered that. It's 16 oz for $8.95 I also wanted something light for dinner so I ordered the Vegetarian Wrap $10.95, add Turkey $3. They also have sandwiches, salads, tea and coffee. A bit pricey but ingredients are Organic, so wanted to give them a try! While I sat and waited, I noticed there were cute little live plants for sale. I met the owner Rei, who was sitting at the table across of me and asked about the Hawaiian plants and what her favorite foods items were. She smiled and said, "EVERYTHING!" :) It was nice talking with Rei and learning about her and her husband's other restaurant business in Japan and wedding business in Hawaii. I can see how some wedding decor influenced her design for her new Health Bar. She chose lovely furniture, tables, and created an overall peaceful atmosphere. She also mentioned that they have a really good Organic house-made Carrot dressing with the wraps! The Green Energy Smoothie was ready in 10 mins and tasted very pungent and fresh although the 16 oz was very small. Still good quality. It took some time for my wrap to be ready, even though I was the only customer at the time, but you can tell it was made with lots of love and care! When I got home to try it, I was so impressed! It was just by chance I found them when the establishment I originally picked for a coffee meeting was closed. It was too late to move locations and they were conveniently located in the same building downstairs by the stairs. The place is cozy and has about 4 tables inside. They offer a variety of drinks and food. I ordered their 5ive Senses Coffee and my guest ordered one of their smoothies. Customer service was friendly with what seems like an all Japanese staff. They had a constant flow of customers getting drinks to go. I saw a dog enter so I assume they are pet friendly. Unfortunately, they don't offer WiFi but that's pretty common these days at coffee shops. It was a great alternative last minute option. 5IVE SENSES to the rescue! On first impression at 10am on a Friday the cafe seems very well kept and clean, the person behind the counter is very polite. Ordering was easy, they do have Apple Pay, and I noticed they do not accept cash. Or that's what the register says. The smell of the place is delightful, I think they have a scent warmer in here. The aesthetic in the ceiling is nice and green. The couches have comfy pillows that are places on the benches neatly. After 10 mins of sitting here, the person working the counter has helped 4 customers looking for directions bathroom codes in a polite manner, and it would seem like a hassle to me being on the 1st floor of a place that has multiple business establishments. I got the Umami-Egg Dashimaki, to go, and for 15$ it seems like a good portion size that could easily count for a breakfast and lunch. I was a little confused about the name of this business. On the windows from the street it has their logo and the name of the place in their logo but not so easy to read when you do a drive by. When you type in Health Bar it gives you HiBlend. I had to type in Senses then this place showed up on Yelp. They've only been open a month. Ambiance: Cute, cozy, boho chic with a sprinkle of a French cafe from the front entrance with the black and white awning with a cute little Little cottage cafe feel from the street side with the window opening. All white inside with Boho IKEA style basket hanging lights with a sea foam green ocean breeze feel with the cushions. I like the detail of the plants along the tables to create a barrier/partition from entrance to the seating area. They also have seafood green outdoor tables which I think are cute but also not where I would think Ken would out an outdoor seating but it works. The area the establishment isn't considered a "cute area" if your looking for a view while relaxing. However, inside, this is a such a cozy relaxing place with their decor. You gotta love finding a gem in the rough. Service: There were two people working the counter and food. They were both very friendly. I took my items to go, when you are there you order at the counter then sit and they will bring your purchase to once it's ready. Food & Beverage: I ordered the cinnamon raisin with cream cheese. It wasn't toasted and I chose that to try something not because I was hungry but to snack on. If it was toasted and crunchy with cream cheese it would have been delicious. The complex has valet parking with a neat little carousel for the cars like they have in Korea. I was going to go somewhere else in the complex, but they were sold out, so I stopped here because it caught my eye on the way up. I love smoothies almost as much as I love milk tea and milkshakes. The mango banana caught my eye first, then the matcha banana, but when I saw the black sesame kinako I knew that that was the one, Two of my favorite flavors joining forces. For food, I got a cream cheese sandwich. It was delicious, but the price was high for the small size. Service was super friendly, and my order came out very quickly. When I return to get the black sesame kinako smoothie, I will try one of their numerous healthy eating options. I ordered the shimp avocado sando to go. My husband has been on a banana milk juice kick so I was happy to see they offer it here (with oat milk, which us our preference!). The sandwich was delicious, packed with lettuce, carrots, alfalfa, etc - sadly I didn't take a picture because I was hungry, but it was vibrant and definitely picture-worthy. First time trying this little cafe. I ordered an iced matcha latte... the young lady asked if I wanted a sweetener, I said yes. I didn't realize they charge 2.00 for a squeeze of honey?! My latte ended up being over 11.00!!! Anyway, my fault for not checking the prices first. When I got my drink i was shocked that it was white... like just iced milk. She told me the matcha powder is on the pale side??? Not too sure what that meant because I have never seen a white matcha latte. The only reason I am giving two stars is because both owners were right there and did nothing to rectify my order.
