    Paula and her delicious food!
    Elwin W.

This was the 2nd place we stopped for food. The loco moco was over fried rice, the patty was nicely seasoned with crisp edges, and the banana bread was delicious. We ordered additional bread to take home. Paula is amazing plus warm and welcoming and had made ube brownie bites and let us try them.... They were divine!

We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street and wanted to try a local place for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwich and loco moco were so delicious! We were greeted by their super friendly staff and Christine brought us our meals with a huge smile on her face. We definitely recoo

This is a small cafe in the Kuhio food hall within the International Marketplace. They have smoothies and breakfast items, including acai bowls. We got a couple of acai bowls and they were so good and refreshing. The fruits were really fresh and the acai was sweet. I think they were generous with the honey, which made the bowls really yummy. The acai bowls were quite big and a great option for lunch.

The extraordinary Paula at Cafe Waikīkī

The quintessential Hawaiian dish, loco moco is fabulous here at Cafe Waikīkī ... beef party is seasoned and seared with crispy edges, fried rice (vs white rice) is a treat, and you may think there is too much gravy, it is not! So ono! And if you are lucky enough to get to meet Paula, she is an amazing baker! We got to place orders for her banana bread (different flavors: lilikoi, mango, pineapple, ube) and with or without nuts-so moist, light, and not cloyingly sweet-it is truly a treat! Mahalo Paula! Aloha until next time

Overpriced mediocre food. $60 for 2 coffees, loco moco, and açaí bowl. Nothing screamed out amazing, if anything, this place goes more for plating appearance vs actual flavors. Food was plain, just the saltiness from the gravy which overpowered everything. I wouldn't come back

Acai bowl (frozen blueberries, fresh strawberries and banana)

I appreciate that this place was one of the few places open early in the morning when we came to pick up our rental car. I appreciate that the line moved pretty quickly. However, this was easily the worst acai bowl I think I have had. I ordered a breakfast burrito and acai bowl. I think they forgot my order because several other tables got their food (including acai bowls) but mine never came out. A waiter even came out to ask if I was waiting on my food since I was sitting at an empty table and I told him yes and he went to tell the staff. Only then did I see them start pulling stuff out at the bar. He came back out with my breakfast burrito and told me my acai bowl would be coming out shortly. Breakfast burrito was poorly wrapped - you can see that it was already starting to fall apart on the plate. I recommend that it could be wrapped in foil to help maintain it's shape. That being said, the contents were solid and it was tasty enough. The acai bowl was bad. The fruit was likely not fresh - the bluberries were literally frozen and some were frozen in a block of ice which was kind of disgusting.... I could literally see the corner that it had frozen into. Granola was weird - some parts were super stale and hard, hurt my teeth and others were normal. Anyway - it's fine if youre hungry and its the only thing open but def don't get the acai :)

I love their Bagel n' Lox on everything bagel ! Their barista's were awesome. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Very convenient location and great place for family.

    C-dub açai bowl
    Mike A.

Pretty good spot in the Kuhio Avenue Food Hall. They make all kinds of smoothies, a few breakfast items, coffee. I tried the c-dub açai bowl, and added peanut butter on it. I wish they had almond butter instead. It tasted pretty good. It was served in a carved pineapple, which was a nice touch.

    Pineapple banana bread

Do not miss the banana bread here! Fresh ingredients - moist, clearly made with love and care. They take custom orders too! We asked for nuts and they asked us which kind we wanted! We chose macadamia! Banana without nuts, banana with macadamia, banana Ube with macadamia, banana pineapple - all GREAT! Ask for Paula. Her service is stellar - she bakes for you like your sibling or cousin might. You are truly treated like Ohana here! Have the bread for your room, poolside snacks, beach snacks, on the plane heading home. It's that good!

Ali'i bowl. Are they the same as menu?

I was expecting somewhat different. When i search random acai bowls, usually there are full of fruits on bowl, and prettier.

The açaí bowl was alright, good portion for sure. The loco moco was also good, flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. That's about it

delicious smoothies, kind employees, fast service, cute spot. best place for a cold healthy smoothie that tastes great.

    Avocado toast

Absolutely loved this place! Cafe Waikiki on the left at one of the entrances to the food hall. It's a cute little corner spot! There's a large selection of food ranging from açaí bowls to crepes and bagels/ toast. There was also a decent selection of coffee options. I came around lunch time on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy. The customer service was superb and Bryan and Jan were super helpful in answering my questions and even recommending some things. They were super warm and welcoming and I'd even come back just for them! I ordered a latte and the avocado toast to go. The presentation was great and the taste did not disappoint! The avocado toast was on sourdough bread which was definitely my favorite part. They also put both an avocado spread and sliced avocados on top which I thought made it even better! The latte was also super good. Their espresso was nice and smooth to my liking and their syrups added some nice flavor without it being overpowering. Overall, I really loved my experience here and highly recommend everyone visits!

Sadly, it seemed more folks were there for the pastries though. First off, I'm surprised I found such a fabulous cup of coffee in what feels like the epicenter of tourist life on this island. While visiting another island nearly establishment had signage stating they served Kona and/or Hawaiian coffee, but nearly every establishment's coffee was absolutely awful. Seeing the location I fully expected them to phone in the coffee, but it's clear that coffee comes first here, even if many of the guests are trying to get pastries! You'll be shocked by the line, but just know the staff is efficient and it moves fast. They offer a variety of their own locally roasted beans here, with options for batch brew, espresso drinks and even pour overs (impressive considering the volume of customers). The coffees are well described and the baristas have the additional knowledge you may be seeking when you order, and all in all this went as quickly as I could have expected. Truly, the coffee was delightful, and the fact I was drinking a hot drink on an extremely hot day didn't even phase me. I wanted so badly to bring home a bag of each one, but given that everything is more expensive in Hawaii, these were all 4x the price of the specialty coffee I buy on the mainland and I just couldn't make it happen. What will happen is me telling everyone to visit this shop when they're in Hawaii because it is 100% worth it. Won't you consider opening one in Reno NV?

Food: 5/5 I was able to try several of their brunch items including their Ham & Cheese Croissant, their Turkey Pest Sandwich, and their Traditional Waffle. Almost all of them were a hit! I especially liked their Turkey Pesto. It paired beautifully with their salad. Their breakfast waffle was also light and fluffy and their fruit was fresh. Drinks: 5/5 I tried their many lattes, coffees, smoothies. Their açaí smoothie was not my favorite because it had a lot of unblended seeds. I did love their leans & green smoothie, it had so many fruits and greens in it, and it also tasted so good. Service: 5/5 This place had wonderful service. All of their servers were so kind and they explained their menu so well. The food and drinks came out pretty timely and everything was fresh to order. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is attached to the Outrigger Hotel so they share a cafe area with the pool. It was beautiful to be able to enjoy breakfast by the poolside. It was giving summer vibes outside. Inside their cafe was very tropical with plants everywhere. I would definitely come back here for the food, the drinks, the happy hour, the ambiance, and the service!

I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was a really reasonable price for the heart of Waikiki. On top of that, it was both big and satisfying. It's mainly made with eggs, potatoes, bell peppers, and cheese, so if you like eggs, you'll enjoy it. Some of my friends thought it had too many eggs and lacked actual meat of some sort, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The burritos are premade and warmed up after you order, so you can't really make any modifications. You can also order from the restaurant upstairs, but we were told the wait is around 30 minutes.
