Ube matcha, Mac nut latte, cinnamon roll latte

Great coffee!! Super cute little shop, very friendly. We got three different drinks and loved them all. I will be trying more drinks!

Needed my morning beverage, so I popped in here and ordered a 16 oz. matcha latte. The nice young lady was really friendly and welcoming, so it helped make my morning cheerful. I got it "barely" sweet and it was perfect. Looking at the pastry display case, the pastries looked amazing; especially the one with the fruit. It looked really flaky, as it should look, but I controlled my impulses and didn't buy one. Maybe next time. My matcha latte was really good, but I think I would've liked it blended a bit more. The matcha was a little grainy, but the sweetness was perfect. I'd definitely go back to Ride and Grind the next time I need a morning beverage and if I'm in the area!

We ordered an egg, bacon, & cheese croissant, an egg, ham, & cheese croissant, banana bread, a coconut mac nut latte, & a mac nut latte. It was super yummy, especially the croissants with the spicy house sauce. We thought about going back to get more, it was that delicious! Also, the girl helping us out was super nice, as well! I'd definitely come back the next time we visit Hawaii again!

Iced Coconut Mac Nut Latte

I got the Iced Coconut Mac Nut Latte and the Banana Nutella Waffle Croissant and they were absolutely AMAZING. The service was great the baristas were awesome and the atmosphere was great as well. 10/10 would reccomend.

The rain was pouring for a little bit and luckily all the buildings in this part of town had overhanging roofs so I was definitely protected during my pre-dinner walk The restaurant is a James Beard award winning restaurant and the food did not disappoint. We ordered a couple starters and they're two evening specials to share and everything was a 10 out of 10. I especially like my cocktail, the Spicy Kitty Our waitress was so kind and attentive make sure that we didn't feel rushed given that we were having a reunion dinner and catching up Highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back to try their other items on the menu. This place can be for any occasion whether for a date night or a hangout with friends. The place can be kinda small so big groups might have some difficulty, but they do have a private room upstairs if you want to inquire. The round table also isn't the greatest for sharing multiple plates so eat accordingly So far my must orders have been the Basil Caesar Salad with Crispy Chicken (this is coming from a salad non-enthusiast), the Fete spread and Steak Tartare (especially with their anchovy buttered toast - chefs kiss!), the Crispy Potatoes, and their Roasted Carrots (which apparently is off-menu). I typically love most of their pasta dishes but the last time I had their Carbonara, it was pretty salty... but nonetheless, good vibes all around!

We were expecting good things due to other reviews and we were not disappointed. We loved the restaurant rustic vibe, the servers were on it, food came out in excellent time frames and the food itself.... Delicious! Not pictured was the ox tail Mac & cheese, lobster spinach artichoke dip and the cornbread which were bigger portions than we expected. I would even go back just for the black cherry soda. With that being said with seasonal menus I'm excited to go back to try other dishes and I Highly recommend this restaurant

I was staaaarving so for me and baby I ordered: - Cornbread - I love their cornbread. This was my fave of all the dishes we had. - Bone Marrow - This was probably the biggest marrow I've had anywhere. Like choke marrow. Awesome. Alcohol didn't light on the whole plate so only had little bit and baby couldn't have any. Think no bourbon next time. Just sprinkle some salt and it would be perf. - Chopped - All kine goodies in this salad but the dressing was very "nothing." I added some garlic salt when I ate the leftovers and it kicked it up a notch. - Chicken Pappardelle - The pasta was terrible. So thick and doughy. Took away from the chicken which was okay. Ended up dumping the leftover pasta...which was pretty much the whole thing. - Oxtail Mac & Cheese - This was more like an Oxtail Helper (like Hamburger Helper). Very not cheesey. Baby ate some but think she wanted more cheese. Tasted better the next day. Friends had the Prime. The temp on each was given to the wrong person, which needed to be right since 1 person didn't get the roasted pot. The medium-rare one was cold. Like COLD. Strange. Overall think they fell a little short on the food. Some things GREAT, some thing the opposite, so balanced out. Will I go back? Of course, but now I know what not to get.

Maybe hardly anyone orders it or she was new and learning? It did take a while for me to get my coffee. The waiting area is quite small so there wasn't much room for me to go anywhere. Overall, the drinks have been good with a variety of seasonal drinks and specials as well. I'll probably return for my coffee fix as it seems to be one of the few coffee shops in the area open on Sundays. Happy Drinking!

They serve Lion's coffee and yes, I did have a lot of coffee which was promptly refilled. My wife and I like the open air kitchen and the place is clean and perfect for breakfast. Although there are a lot of people, you don't feel crowded. Their loco moco is among the best, if not the best in Honolulu. Their corned beef hash is really good and I'd like to go back and get these with a couple of eggs the next time. I finally got to taste the famous jelly and found it not as sweet as you might think, which is great! The jelly paired with the butter rolls were so good! Overall, VERY IMPRESSIVE and it would have gotten 5 stars if the place wasn't so hot. Although I was seated underneath an AC, it was still very warm. Fix that and it's easily 5 stars. It's already 5 stars for the food, just need to fix that one issue to get 5 stars for the rest!

But there's a difference between overpriced and just plain getting ripped off... I really wish we took a picture of our meal but it was early morning and we have a 5 month old now for this trip so it didn't cross my mind to. We order a chicken and waffle, with a side of Portuguese sausage. We've been to Liliha Bakery a few times so the portions have always been pretty big and shareable. Man, let me describe the sad piece of meal and experience we received. It was a thin maybe quarter-itch waffle with a 4 piece nugget size mediocre fried chicken in the center (think little Chick-fil-A nugget pieces). Topped with 2 strawberries sliced in quarters around. Pathetic meal for $22 you would mistake for a kid's menu item. Top that with the NINE DOLLAR side of Portuguese sausage that was a sad, small snack size amount, truly should cost $4 at most for this add-on. To add insult to injury, we were also looking forward to those little biscuits and jelly they serve before your meal and we were told those are only served if we ordered rice dishes and $22 entree doesn't quality - how does that even make any sense?? We left paying $45 dollars for a kids meal and left to get food to fill us somewhere else. I get Hawaii is expensive once you're here, but this was just robbery. We liked Liliha bakery; but after this visit, we'll never be returning here again

My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We had multiple dishes, but staff made Kauai prawns and tomato miso black cod dishes on the house since they ran out the Hokkaido scallops. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.
