California Chicken Club: grilled chicken, boar's head swiss cheese, bacon, avocado, lettuce & tomato on a house-baked croissant ($14.50).

A grab-and-go shop next to the M.A.C. 24/7 Restaurant and Bar by the front lobby of the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel. The menu is simple, primarily selling beverages, sandwiches, and baked goods of both sweet and savory. Food is just standard and pricey as expected, but is convenient for quick bites. If ordering sandwiches, it may take a couple of minutes and will come with a bag of chips. ----- California Chicken Club: grilled chicken, boar's head swiss cheese, bacon, avocado, lettuce & tomato on a house-baked croissant ($14.50). ----- Turkey & Swiss: oven roasted turkey, boar's head swiss cheese, sliced tomato, arugula, dijon mayonnaise, brioche bun ($11). ----- Yogurt Parfait ($7). ----- The place is only open in the mornings from 6 AM to 11:30 AM. All orders are in a take-out fashion, but there are seats in the lounge if planning on dining inside.

    Hawaiian Kine

So this restaurant is in the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel. As many people know restaurants in hotels can be hit or miss, but this one is excellent. We came down and ordered from a pretty good menu. Our order consisted of Hawaiian Kine (Ube English muffins with Kailua pork, poached egg and sriracha hollandaise sauce, and I got the "MAC attack" breakfast which had sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, potatoes, and 3 mini pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly and very fresh. The staff here are very friendly and polite! Oh yes, the coffee is also very good here! Thanks for reading my vacation review!

I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing their coconut peanut butter or macadamia nut peanut butter. They also have several other variations, including chocolate. They also offer local honey. Their peanut butter is highly sought after back in the states. So if you're here grab a combo and give it a try, you just might find yourself ordering some online once you've given it a try.

This might be one of the only places in Waikiki open at 4 AM which is perfect if you've just arrived the night before from the East Coast. The inside of the shop feels homey. They have a display case full of pastries along with additional baked goods set out nearby. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a coconut latte and then ordered a blueberry malasada while my father went with a custard-filled one. At Maleko, the malasadas are pre-made but not filled until you order which I think is a smart move. I first tried my blueberry malasada and thought it was good. The dough was light and fluffy and the filling had a great flavor. As for my coffee, I have to agree with other reviews that the syrup made it overly sweet. I still drank it, but I definitely would have preferred something less sweet. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again for the malasadas. As for the coffee, I would probably pass unless you prefer your drinks on the sweeter side.

Expect long lines here lol We did a huge order for coffee and breakfast menu items. The wait to order may be long, but luckily it didn't take too long for them to prepare the drinks and sandwiches. The drinks were faster but the sandwiches did take some time. I mainly had the Kai Latte, which was the macadamia nut latte. I would say it's pretty sweet, but the macadamia nut flavor wasn't really that prominent. It was just sweet. I wish the coffee was also stronger, but it was pretty light. The sandwiches here were pretty good too. I tried the veggie breakfast sandwich which only had some greens and eggs. I tried a bite of the protein breakfast sandwich and I think I probably like that one better haha. Although, the veggie one was definitely a lot more lighter and easy to consume. The protein one probably would have been a lot more heavier for me, but a lot more flavorful. Otherwise, food and coffee are pretty solid. There are a few tables outside the coffee shop, very limited. Love the atmosphere around here!
