About a 1-1.5: The B-Side Coffee Bar can be found by the entrance of the Wayfinder - I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Coconut Golden Milk Latte. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't come out extra hot as requested, and the beverage itself was super watered down and tasteless. Really disappointing, considering the rave reviews on this place. There's counter seating, but there's also a lobby seating area as well - very comfortable, and there's often a nice cool breeze. No dice, B-Side. +watered down coffee +located at the Wayfinder

Cute little coffee bar! We stayed in the Wayfinder and came down here twice for coffee. First day we made the mistake of coming at about 7:30am and most of the pastries were already sold out/not available. I ordered a Coconut Golden Milk Latte and my husband ordered an an Iced Americano. The drinks were pretty good and the bagels we ended up getting were also good. Service was quick considering there was only 1 barista. Second day instead of getting an Iced Americano we received it hot. No big deal, was still good. I tried a Horchata Latte this time (delicious) and getting some muffins which were pretty good. Good option for this area if you don't want to walk too far for coffee. They have some cute merch too but you have to pay for it at the front desk.

Gotta say I was blown away by this coffee! It's located inside the Wayfinder Hotel, which is where we stayed, and honestly I just assumed the coffee in the hotel wouldn't be very good... I was so wrong. I am so glad we gave it a shot. The service is top notch. So much aloha plus great & honest recommendations. We got the Fall Special which was the Ulu Spiced Latte with ice. YUMMM! I'd say this was the second best coffee we had on the Island (we tried 8 coffee shops). Really really great stuff! They also have cocktails, beer, pastries, sandwiches, etc etc if you so desire. The theme is super cute & retro, and there's also a cute little merch section :) If you aren't staying at the hotel, parking is street or valet so I would recommend walking or just know it'll take you a bit to find a spot. Thank you B-Side!

B-Nice is what's this place is... You can't miss this place as it's just the first thing you see as you head up the ramp at the Wayfinder Hotel, taking up a great amount of the entrance this lovely coffee bar is simple giving off a kind of modern retro vibe does sound strange but is the best I can come up with lol! Coffee Bar is appropriate as it's a huge counter with a display case right in the middle filled with yummies which majority seems to be a grab and go items though since I did come later in the day it was all they had, and being open from 6am with food delivered at around 8ish it has been there for quite some time so I passed on a snack. This coffee bar has all the usual coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, teas and blended drinks. What makes them special is they also have alcohol here as well. Wines, draft beers, and a few signature cocktails hmmm it's always noon somewhere right!? Since in Waikiki I decided on a Signature Proof-Free drink "Wake Up Slow" which is Orange and Pineapple Juice with Hibiscus...how cool is that, very cool in fact it looked like stunning sunset. Sitting at the open-air super long counter taking in the traffic view I noticed that they have some outlet to keep your electronics alive was a nice touch and decided to take advantage of that and enjoyed my sip while I fed my phone. While I waited for my drink I browsed their merchandise section at the end of the bar which is decently extensive and has some pretty lovely items from stickers, mugs, cooler bag and water bottles all are great items for visitors and locals to enjoy. Wake Up Slow was just that perfect refreshing sip for me to enjoy the moment and chill, not quite the staycation but daycation is fine with me. Thank you!

We stayed at the wayfinder and found this coffee bar super convenient. They service was always friendly. A little pricey but we enjoyed the coffee. We typically ordered a latte and they do have milk substitutes available. The ambiance matched the overall theme of the hotel and it was a good island vibe. Parking will be a bit hectic as they don't valet and street parking may be tight.

Coffee was good. Location in the Wayfinder hotel is great. So far - five stars. Ooops! Service was one star. Nothing like two non-exuberant men to serve your morning coffee in paradise. No smile, no "hello, good morning". Paying $7 for a latte should get me a smile and a friendly "Hello". It's going to be difficult for this place to survive only on hotel guess, especially when non-hotel guests like me decide to go back to coffee places that are friendly to their customers. I guess I'm headed back to Kona Coffee for my morning Joe.

Great fun & delicious drinks and amazing service! Definitely should check this place out!

This place was just two blocks away, so we braved the November misty rain and consistent wind through the buildings to make it over here. To be fair, this seemed more like a Vietnamese coffee joint and a Banh Mi place... so maybe coming here for pho wasn't our best idea. They had two kinds available that night-- beef and chicken. Since chicken pho is not something I'm willing to try, we both ordered up the dac biet. The broth was bland with a thin and unpleasant veil of grease along the top that congealed quickly on the rim of the bowl. It wasn't hot enough, or maybe the pre-cooked and chilled noodle block they poured it over cooled it off. Meat was chewy and low quality. The sprouts and basil were soggy and wilted. Honestly, it was a get up and leave kind of thing. The whole place was just dingy and didn't feel great. I've eaten at some very modest places in my native San Gabriel Valley in Southern California, so it's not a snobbery thing. It's a "someone get a Swiffer wet jet and some paper towels and give this whole place a once-over. Speaking of once, that's the sum total of times we'll ever eat here. Too bad... because it was really close to our hotel :)

Ordering ahead was easy and convenient, which I appreciated, and pickup was smooth. When I picked up my sandwich, my first thought was, "Wow, this is a heavy sandwich for a turkey-bacon with added avocado, no onions, and no tomato." At the time I assumed the weight meant a generous portion of turkey and bacon. Unfortunately, when I got back to work and opened it, I quickly realized that wasn't the case--it was the lettuce. There was an overwhelming amount of lettuce packed into the sandwich, to the point where it felt completely out of balance. Instead of being turkey-forward, it felt more like a lettuce sandwich with a few toppings added in. The turkey and bacon portions themselves were surprisingly small and unevenly distributed--one half had about two slices of turkey while the other had closer to a slice and a half. Most of the bacon was also concentrated on one half, so I ended up redistributing it just to make the sandwich feel a bit more balanced. The bread didn't help either. I think I shouldn't have gotten it toasted--it just didn't do it for me. It felt a little off with the filling and didn't add anything to the overall experience. I ordered The Duke, but what I didn't realize was that I was essentially getting a salad sandwich (see pic). I like lettuce on a sandwich, but this was next level--the amount completely overwhelmed everything else inside. The cost was another consideration--my total came to $19.37, including a $3.50 charge for avocado. For the portion size and balance of ingredients, I expected a bit more bang for my buck. If I give this place a second chance, I'll definitely need to say 'lite lettuce'--or maybe just 'no lettuce, please'--unless I want another salad disguised as a sandwich!

I had visited their sister location the night before in Waikīkī and had such a great experience that I told my wife, "If this place is anything like last night, we're in for something good." She agreed--and we decided to give it a shot. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by Colby, a tall, friendly guy with a great attitude. I mentioned my experience from the night before, and he immediately said he wanted to live up to that standard. That kind of response set a really positive tone. We ordered two Aroma Specials: Dolce & Banana (me) Nutella Latte (my wife) For food, we went with: P.B. Delight açaí bowl Turkey pesto panini Bacon & egg bagel Total came out to about $62, which we expected given the location near the beach. We grabbed a seat inside by the window (outside seating was full--no surprise on such a beautiful morning). Our drinks came out quickly--but unfortunately, this is where things started a little rough. We both noticed right away that something was off. My wife's Nutella latte didn't have that rich hazelnut flavor you'd expect, and my Dolce & Banana was missing the banana entirely. Honestly, they tasted almost identical. When I politely mentioned it to a staff member who brought out our food, the response felt dismissive and didn't really address the concern--which was disappointing and definitely not the experience we were hoping for. At that point, we decided to just enjoy the food and move forward--and I'm glad we did, because the food was fantastic. The turkey pesto panini was loaded with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with melty cheese. The bacon & egg bagel was hearty, well-balanced, and super satisfying. The P.B. Delight açaí bowl was the surprise standout--perfectly blended, fresh, and the peanut butter added an awesome richness that made it feel like a treat. Everything on the food side absolutely delivered. A few minutes later, Colby came by to check on us--and this is where the entire experience turned around. I let him know honestly: "The food is amazing, but the coffee missed the mark." Without hesitation, without attitude, and without making excuses, he said, "Hang on, let me fix that." I even told him not to worry about it--we were enjoying ourselves regardless--but he insisted. "Rick, I got you," he said. Within minutes, he came back with two freshly made drinks and a sincere apology. We took a sip and immediately--night and day difference. The Nutella latte had that rich, distinct hazelnut flavor. The Dolce & Banana finally had that smooth, balanced banana note Exactly what we were hoping for the first time. Colby is the MVP Colby completely turned this experience around. His attitude never changed--he was smiling, positive, kind, and genuinely cared about making things right. No defensiveness, no excuses--just great customer service and follow-through. That kind of service is rare, and it matters. It's evident that not all the workers have that same dedication to customer service but Colby does! What could have been a disappointing visit ended up being a great one because of him. Hawaiian Aroma Caffè--take care of this young man! He represents your business incredibly well. He needs to be leading your team on what customer service looks like and they need to follow his lead. From naming customers by their first name, to holding that perfect smile the entire time, to checking in with guests after receiving their meals and really caring about their experience. Final Thoughts Great food, great location, and a really cool atmosphere--but what stood out most was the service recovery. Mistakes happen anywhere.
