Loved Hawaiian Latte. They do charge for extra shot of coffee

Absolutely incredible decor! Feels so relaxing. Food is definitely over, over priced. Pour over for $16 bucks! I ordered Hawaiian latte and once I tasted it, I asked for another shot and they made sure they charged me extra 4 bucks for the shot. Hope they definitely review the price list.

Got the local latte for $10 (one size only for iced), very tasty. The macadamia nut flavor is rich and the local vanilla is very tasty and earthy--doesn't taste like the typical syrup/bottle type of syrup. Enjoyed my last latte on the island before heading out to Texas. The staff were very friendly and helped me decide on a drink, which I LOVE asking for suggestions at new places.

A very cute lil cafe at the Moana Surfrider hotel. Staff were very patient and happy to provide recommendations. They have a variety of seasonal drinks and their Hawaiian latte with coconut and macadamia simple syrup is to die for! I can't wait to come back and try their other lattes.

Located across our hotel and decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did. Line can be long but you can also do mobile order through toast. Even if you do walk up order service is pretty quick. We have tried thier ube latte, local latte and the Hawaiian latte and all were good,I'd say I really can't taste the ube flavor. Hawaiian latte is my favorite.

The coffee here is amazing! I usually get the Local Latte with an extra espresso shot and oat milk and it comes out perfect every time. The drinks come out fairly quickly and the workers are very helpful. There's a good amount of seating in the store as well and the store is kept really clean. Overall it's a great place for a quick pit stop if you're on the strip.

Aloha! We flew in from Maui yesterday to visit our son who is a Junior at University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. We are staying at the Sheraton Princess and since we prefer their pool vs. The Surf Rider where this Honolulu Coffee shop is located. The coffee is prefect! We ordered a Hawaiian cappuccino, chocolate croissant and the best! blueberry strudel muffin I have ever tasted! The shop is "Hawai'i causal" setting inviting and fun! The staff was very friendly and engaging. There must have been at least 3 or 4 "Mikes or Michaels" since they kept calling my name. Next time I will use "Walter or Heisenberg" when ordering!

Our daily coffee mostly consist of the local latte, Hawaiian latte, matcha and some ham and cheese croissants. I seriously could not get enough that I bought beans from their place and their honey. My top fave is the local latte and their ham and cheese croissant. It is sooo delicious. Fast service and friendly staff. I bought their extra fancy beans as well for home and I made it today and it was delicious. Very cute vibe in there and they have a big menu with smoothies, matcha and acai bowls. They also have different pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I really love this place. Highly recommend as well when you go to Hawaii! A little prices but their coffee is so smooth!

We try to come to Hawaii once every two years and I'm sure there are some great coffee shops in the Honolulu area but I'll never know because I know exactly where I'm headed every single time and that's Honolulu Coffee Shop. It's attacked to the Moana Surfrider Hotel but open to the public. Amazing to me that I cannot be there for years, but when I return the consistency is 100% the same. Great coffee, great staff and great island vibes all the way around. My go to is an iced oat milk latte with honey and a quad shot and I always get their PB bites too. This spot is always one of the highlights of my trip to Honolulu and I go every day I'm there. Great job guys!

Iced Ube Latte, Iced Local Latte, Classic Acai Bowl, & Almond Croissant

While staying in Waikiki, I had to stop by this place twice because I loved the vibe! We had been told by a Maui local that Honolulu Coffee makes its own vanilla syrup from scratch and also uses local honey, highly recommending the Iced Local Latte with Macadanian Nut Honey and Laie Vanilla - and boy was it delicious! Super great blend of coffee flavor and strong vanilla flavor without being too sweet or milky, the Iced Local Latte was definitely my favorite menu item that I tried. For drinks, we also tried the Iced Ube Latte and Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. I was not a fan of the Ube Latte, not being able to taste any Ube - which is usually a vanilla-like flavor that's a bit more earthy - and barely any sweetness at all in this Latte, but it did have a very vibrant and pretty purple color. However, the Strawberry Matcha was great: creamy, flavorful, and fresh strawberry puree. I also ordered a Classic Acai Bowl, which was delicious and refreshing, but I wouldn't say there was anything too special to write home about. However, I was very impressed with the portion. Lastly, we got an Almond Croissant that had a great buttery, flaky pastry, but the almond filling was a bit sweet for my personal taste. Delicious though!

The line is always pretty long, even when I went only a half hour after they opened. I love Honolulu Coffee Company, so I'll do it. I'll be in there for 15-20 minutes to get my fix. It's connected to the Moana Surfrider on the outside right - not inside the hotel. They have a good amount of seating for the size of the shop but it's always been so busy in the mornings when I go (8:30-9:30) that the line is kind of in the way of a lot of chairs. Once you order, the food/drinks come out pretty fast. It's a little on the pricier side but worth it IMO. If you're from out of town, there's no parking, in case you were wondering. May the odds be ever in your favor with Waikiki parking.

When I am in Waikīkī I like to grab a coffee and açaí bowl in the morning or heading to the beach. I got the Hawaiian latte- which has coconut and macadamia nut syrup which is a little too sweet for me. I also wanted an açaí bowl so I got the classic- acai with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. It was very big for 1 person, I probably should have gotten a chia yogurt for something smaller. Service was great and quick, there's some seating inside and it's really busy. Kind of on the pricey side, it was about $30 with tip for my coffee and açaí bowl.

I'm not really a coffee aficionado thus can't differentiate between Kona, Columbian, Sumatran, Javan, coffee. My wife is better at tasting than me while all I need is a sweet coffee. The Shop in the Moana Surfrider is convenient if you're on the beach or walking on busy Kalakaua. Nice bright casual interior with a friendly staff and tables to sit inside to escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.

Came here twice and think it's overall 3.5/5 stars. - Espresso drinks are great. - Iced matcha latte was good until I got near the bottom third of the cup and kept getting chunks of matcha powder that hadn't dissolved in the milk. It wouldn't have been a big deal if there weren't so many of these little chunks that were unpleasant both in texture and quite bitter in taste. - Guava hand pie was just ok. I asked for it warmed and it was still COLD inside and sadly not crispy or flaky like I had hoped. - Açaí bowls here are okay. The price around $20 seems pretty standard for this area. I do appreciate the extensive list of add ons though like almond butter, coconut, cocoa nibs and more. I don't like that the açaí itself is still pretty frozen and hard when it first comes out - so would recommend giving it a few min to melt a little. Fruits are ripe and sweet. - Tables to sit and eat inside, clean - Service is average, nothing particularly notable

Hubs had to fast from 6 am for his 2 pm surgery so I thought he would probably be starving and would enjoy a delectable salt and butter roll from here. At $4.50 a piece I consider this a luxury for us. I found a close stall in the parking structure. A very cheerful polite male employee took my order. I had seen two occupied tables as I walked into the shop. Both had matcha drinks. Why not? I asked the young man assisting me, what's the best matcha drink? He said his favorite was banana matcha with extra banana foam. Okay I'll try it. He repeated it to the cashier. So popular there was a wait for beverages to be prepared. Soon enough mine was ready. I think Doc would enjoy this drink. This shop is a working bakery. Many yummy pastries displayed. Menu is posted high up above to choose from. Rather tiny shop with room for customers to stand in line to order and wait for drinks. Clean, busy with a few tables and chairs outside but pretty much in direct sun.

Since it was their anniversary on Sunday, also got their celebratory funfetti cupcake which also like their baked goods did not disappoint. The croissant base of many of their pastries is flaky. When fresh it crunches with every bite that you take. This time around we had the cinnamon roll, mango danish which had a chocolate mochi filling, and their char siu bun. It's such a neat take to have char siu in a croissant. We are used to having it in the doughy bao bread but in a croissant, savory with a crunchy outside tastes so much better. I love sweet but this one wasn't overly sweet, who would have thought that mango and chocolate pair so well together. It's the summer months, fresh mango on pastries. It was the perfect ripeness. For the cinnamon roll, you honestly cannot forget get their cinnamon roll...It's flaky and again the frosting is not overly sweet. Can't wait to get another box of their pastries again soon.

The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas.
