    Umami egg dashimaki
    Nicole H.

Food is tasty and healthy, but pricey. I'd say portions are on the smaller side. I've had the turkey avo sandwich and the umami egg dashimaki, and both were good, and I felt good about eating them. However, the one time I got the dashimaki sandwich, I added avocado for $3 and probably will not do that again... The order comes with 4 little sandwiches, and the amount of avocado in each was sad...you can see for yourself in the photos...and all of them were like that... I'd get the sandwich again though! I think it had a mustardy spread. The chocolate banana nuts cake is really nice! Satisfied my sweet tooth, and I didn't feel guilty after. Would definitely get again. Like a flourless chocolate cake? Very chocolatey and dense.

    Matcha banana pineapple smoothie

5ive Senses is a laid-back and aesthetic cafe with a lush design. Smoothies here are relatively costly. A matcha banana pineapple smoothie (16 oz.) cost me $13.95. The smoothie was tasty, and banana was the prominent flavor. It had a nice thickness that allowed me to drink slowly. The cashier made the smoothie and brought it to my table. I appreciated the relaxing ambience with slow music playing in the background. Inside, the booths had a lot of comfortable pillows. I also liked looking at the many decorative trinkets. Interestingly, when I paid with card, the point-of-sale system prompted me with many questions asking for identifying information about myself. I just put my name, which moved the payment process forward.

    Garlic Shrimp "Burger"

Absolutely friendly and fast service. The garlic shrimp "burger" is actually on a croissant bread and cleanly made with as many shrimp as they could pack in. Unfortunately the cappuccino lacked foam and the acai bowl had very little acai on top of hard granola. Easy to reach on the groud floor of the building. You can find nearby street parking. The inside is a tight squeeze but nicely decorated and there's outdoor seating as well.

Really good and incredible customer service. They are truly so friendly and the place has a fun aesthetic. However, it's pricy for the fare. They do say they use organic ingredients, but I believe the egg and shrimp wrap was about $19 and it was rather small, it was lacking the sprouts that was listed on the menu, and it was slight on the protein. But boy, did I feel great after. Overall, delicious and super healthy, but pricey for size. I truly do appreciate fresh, organic vegetables but I know this menu exists other places and wondering how price compares.

Super cute little vegan cafe on Sheridan Street. The aesthetic is a vibe They have many coffee, matcha, and smoothie options. Got a 5 Senses hot coffee with vanilla and oat milk (~$8) and a veggie avocado sandwich (~$14). The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything was great! I'll have to try their egg sandos next time, one of their most popular items.

Came here in hopes of having a nice drink and maybe some lunch while I got some work done on my laptop. Come to find out they don't have wifi so I had to go somewhere else. So I've seen this place a few times on TikTok. I guess they cater to tourists though because I didn't see a single local person. Even the staff is all from Japan. They offer mostly fresh fruit juices and smoothies. They also have acai bowls. The drinks and bowls are very expensive. A banana smoothie will run you about $13. I found the inside to be cute at first, but while I was waiting for my drink, it just looked cluttered. They use a lot of fake flowers for decor and it makes me cringe thinking of all the dust that gets accumulated. I left disappointed. I wish there were more locally owned businesses in the area and businesses that catered to people who actually live here and need to get work done. Also I still have no idea where to park when I come to 808 Sheridan.

Cute inside however you are not allowed to sit there! Most expensive cafe yet low quality food and drink. Owner is overly agitated about where the customers sit and the bathroom use. 5 small unappetizing sesame seed balls came to $10. She walked out as I was ordering to yell at people smoking while walking by her shop! Disappointed because it looked like a nice. Do not buy the date sesame/chia balls! Overpriced and a scam.

Landed upon this place by accident. I was driving by and the outside looks so cute and quaint. It was very welcoming to grab a coffee and breakfast. The staff is very friendly and the place is so cute to hang out or have a meeting.

Tasty umami egg dashimaki & refreshing detox smoothie.

Very courteous service. Tasty egg sandwich, though price is rather high due to better quality, healthy and organic ingredients. Validation for 30 mins of free parking (subject to change).

5ive senses would always pop-up on my Yelp page and I finally had the chance to go! It's suuuper cute in here with places to take nice photos and hang out. What we ordered ~ **Acai & Berry Smoothie (8/10) ~ Really good and tastes super healthily! It's not overly sweet. The one thing is that it's very grainy so you may catch a few seeds in your mouth haha. But anyways really good! **Orange Juice with ginger (5/10) ~ I expected the orange juice to be slightly sweeter, but it did taste a little watered down. As for the add-on of the ginger you couldn't really taste it (which kind of sucked because I love ginger). Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back for the Acai & Berry smoothie! I would not recommend the orange juice.

Aloha I orderd the Strawberry Matcha.

Experience was delightful, very attentive got right to it.forst time here helped my with the choices to pick from. I ordered the strawberry matcha. I will definitely come back and try the other flavors.

WHEN: Sat @9:30am I was craving a green smoothie and wanted to find a spot near the bike shop to pick up my rental. It doesn't open until 10am, so I figure I'd hang out here at 5ive Senses until they do. This "cafe" has plenty of seating, but indoor and outdoor. I was able to find free street parking just a block away. This super cute location is very instagrammy....to the point they have a set up of rope line you can rest your phone on top to take aerial shots of whats on your table. How crazy convenient is that!? Haha. So here's what I went with: DETOX GREEN SMOOTHIE - 16 oz - $8.95 Organic Spinach, Cucumber, Romaine, Banana, Pineapple, Lemon, Ginger, Chia. Never thought I'd pay $11 for a smoothie, but this hits the spot! It's was refreshing and delicious, not too sweet--just what my body needed! My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves here.

Healing Summer Brunch Date at @5ivesenses I'm all about those dreamy, insta-worthy spots--but @5ivesenses is so much more. This place is pure ambiance goals: calming, uplifting, and making me feel like the main character in a spring garden fairytale. The vibes? Immaculate. The food? All organic, nourishing, and totally made to delight all five senses. Here's what we ordered: - Turkey Avo Wraps: Fresh, zesty wraps packed with creamy avocado and tender turkey--so satisfying and light! - Turkey Avo Salad: A crunchy, vibrant salad with juicy turkey, buttery avocado, and crisp greens. Wholesome and refreshing. - Detox Green Smoothie: A revitalizing blend of greens and fruits. the perfect summer pick-me-up! - Iced Cafe Latte: Smooth espresso poured over ice and creamy milk--chilled, refreshing, and the ultimate summer sip. Honestly, every bite and sip felt like self-care. Highly recommend for your next brunch date or solo recharge!

Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

This time I placed an online order and came in to pick it up. I walked up to the counter where one of the employees looked directly at me and walked away without a word. Another employee was busy doing something behind the counter, so I spoke up and told her I was there for an online pickup. She grabbed my sandwich and handed it over, but I had to remind her that I had also ordered a Nalu bowl. It shouldn't be on the customer to chase down their own order. The food itself may be fine, but the lack of basic customer service makes it hard to want to come back. A simple acknowledgment, eye contact, or a friendly "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. Sadly, none of that seems to be the standard here. And it's not just me,I've read several other reviews saying the exact same thing: customers being ignored, dismissed, and met with attitudes. When multiple people are leaving the same complaints, that's not a bad day, that's a pattern. Hopefully management takes this seriously, because this place has potential and it's being held back by its own staff.

My first time here I got the strawberry lychee, which was super good!! If you want a less sweet option the passion fruit mango has more of a tang/tartness. We got lucky the first time we came (on a Sunday morning), as there was no line. The second time we came there was a wait of about 10 people in front of us!! While waiting in line the sweet owner handed out samples of the strawberry blueberry smoothie--also amazing and a combination I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own.
