I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. Another employee was busy doing something behind the counter, so I spoke up and told her I was there for an online pickup. She grabbed my sandwich and handed it over, but I had to remind her that I had also ordered a Nalu bowl. It shouldn't be on the customer to chase down their own order. The food itself may be fine, but the lack of basic customer service makes it hard to want to come back. A simple acknowledgment, eye contact, or a friendly "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. Sadly, none of that seems to be the standard here. And it's not just me,I've read several other reviews saying the exact same thing: customers being ignored, dismissed, and met with attitudes. When multiple people are leaving the same complaints, that's not a bad day, that's a pattern. Hopefully management takes this seriously, because this place has potential and it's being held back by its own staff.

My question is why would an employee scold a customer, slam an order in the trash, point blame at said customer, then make the customer feel uncomfortable by gossiping with the other employees? I think this is a question for the owners and the employee to discuss after rolling back the camera footage from yesterday (05/20/26 around 12:30pm) We are done with this place. We would rather support local establishments who actually care about return customers....with better food and customer service.
