I haven't even finished my meal and I have to write this review. First I went to the wrong burger spot, I totally thought I ordered from a place not too far from 5 Ate. However, 2 minutes later and I was at this gem. I ordered the veggie burger with a extra crisp on the patty along with the fixings. The first bite took me out. It was so delicious, the crispness of the patty with the English muffin. When you bite into it you get a nice fluff of dough followed by a burst of flavor that makes you want to dance. Conveniently located inside the rock climbing gym, this place is kind of a hidden gem. The reviews looked promising so me and a buddy decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised. Even though it is located inside the gym, the food is in no way what you would expect from the usual 'snack bar' located inside a bowling alley or similar. I had the Farm House and my buddy had the Kale burger, food came out quickly and was amazing. My buddy is a pretty harsh food critic and even he was raving about the quality of the burger. If you live close by and want a quick and quality meal I would definitely recommend to stop by. The food here is bursting with flavor & great quality! Today, the service was slow and it really annoyed us when they brought out all but one person's order and then left us waiting about five minutes before finally getting the last item out to us. They were very busy at that particular time & I believe someone just made an honest mistake; I do not believe it was blatant negligence or incompetence by any means. We ordered their two limited time specialty burgers: the boudin burger, and the avocado butter & bacon burger. Both were great but my favorite was definitely the boudin burger. It had a burger patty and a boudin patty plus remoulade on a sourdough bun. So full of flavor, & highly recommended! It was ordered with Cajun fries that were great quality as well. The avocado bacon burger was awesome, although messy. It was simply a high quality burger with superb extra-thick sliced bacon cooked crispy but not too crispy, slathered with very creamy avocado purée and on a sourdough bun. It was order with a side salad that came with a lemon vinaigrette. The salad greens were excellent quality, but the lemon vinaigrette was much too tart for my tastes. I tried this place based off of rave reviews on Yelp. I got the Bison burger and fries and the peach ginger tea. Everything was pretty good, except the burgers are pretty thick and wasn't cooked well enough to my preference. If you're ordering burger be sure you order with the doneness to your likening . The 5.ATE cafe is quite possibly the highlight of going to the inSPIRE facility. Their staff create a magnificently warm and friendly atmosphere, which keeps me coming back week after week. The burger was not great at all! I don't understand what is so special about this place. The meat had zero flavor and was extremely greasy. The bun got super soggy as soon as we took our first bite. I love a juicy greasy burger but with at least some flavor. This burger had no flavor at all. We got the avocado burger and It didn't have any taste of it at all the best part was the bacon. Definitely will skip the trip. I've had way better burgers. Overall the service was great. ! read more

Food took about 15 minutes but o man it was so worth the wait. Super fresh and super fire. It was nice to enjoy while seeing everyone rock climb. This place is pretty neat. Located inside of a rock-climbing facility, it's cafe-styled with fresh ingredients (even the pizza dough). You can't go wrong with the vegan burger (delicious) or pizza. My friend and I initiated a quest at the beginning of the year to find the best burger in Houston. We try to go twice a month but sometimes it's more or less frequent. This was our 7th stop and we decided to go outside Houston's city limits into Spring because of its proximity to Top Golf and the AMC Movie Theater. Feel free to look at my profile for the other reviews that I've done this year. My typical burger is a bacon cheeseburger with jalapenos but this place was my one exception because of their specialty burgers. Even their "Classic" burger has a creamy sauce on it which seemed odd to me but based on their location in a rock climbing facility it shouldn't have been surprising that they are looking for a more niche market of customers. They continued to do this on other menu items such as referring to it as Mil Islas dressing instead of the more commonly referred to name, Thousand Island. Their menu seemed as if they were trying to appear as a "fancy" cafe instead of just the standard that it was. I went with the farmhouse burger which included beef, pork belly, egg, and creamy Cafe sauce. I typically like my burgers without condiments but I was curious what theirs was with such a vague name. Their burgers are also served on an English muffin, if anything just to separate themselves from other burger joints. The flavor of the burger was spot on. The sharp cheddar cheese was actually sharp, the pork belly was tender and juicy, the beef's texture and flavor still came through and the egg added a nice, savory flavor and covered my hands in yolk (I used minimum 10 napkins). The English muffins are made there and they are so soft and flaky and a nice surprise. The burger as a whole was a bit on the saltier side but nothing to cry about. The English muffin surprisingly held up pretty well for the first half of the burger but by the time I started on the second half it was starting to get soft, mushy, and saturated with grease and egg yolk. Because of this, I ate it much quicker than I would've liked to. The fries were cooked very nicely. They were hot, crispy, and plenty of them. The problem was that because my burger was falling apart I didn't really have time to eat the fries at the same time so I ate the entire burger before I ate any of the fries. They could've used quite a bit more seasoning as well. If they took some of the salt off the burger and put it on the fries it would make everything better. The farmhouse burger, fries, and a Diet Coke bottle was a little over $15 so it was on the pricier side but the ingredients were all quality so it didn't seem like a rip off. The rock climbing atmosphere added something to look at and my friends and I had fun watching the climbers as we were shoving our food in our faces. With "C" being average: Burger - B Fries - C- Ambiance - B Service - A Value - B Overall: C+ Definitely an above average experience. It's nothing you need to take out of towners to but if you're in the area and don't want to settle for Jack in the Box, it's certainly a fine alternative. I was a bit turned off that they were trying to be fancier than I thought they actually were. Nice people though. The pizzas looked amazing. If I did go back, it'd probably be for one of those. read more

He was extremely nice and helped us with some choices on the menu (even though the other employees were actually the ones helping us) and then checked to make sure we liked it. This was pretty good. I imagine it's quite good for people who want a restaurant conveniently located inside their rock climbing gym. I tried the bell pepper hummus, the classic burger, and the fries with blue cheese sauce. The hummus and seasoned flatbread were pretty good. The beef patty in my burger tasted fresh, and I loved the housemade English muffin buns. I thought the bun itself was great. There was a bit too much sauce on my burger for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I absolutely detested the blue cheese sauce covering the fries (and I'm someone who really enjoys blue cheese), but I tried some of the plain fries and those were good. read more

Built my own vegan pizza and my god does the pizza have NO real flavor at all. The crust, tomato sauce, vegan cheese, and mushrooms didn't have ANY actual flavor. The only topping that had flavor were the pickled jalapeños. I only ate two slices and I just couldn't eat the rest. It's hard to find places with vegan options, but this has been the worst. My boyfriend had a burger and he also said it was lacking flavor. The fries were the only thing I enjoyed eating. I'm overall disappointed since there're a lot of good reviews. I think this is one of Spring's hidden gems (because it's inside a gym?)... The food is ridiculously good, and I was surprised to learn the chef actually learned several of his recipes while living in Italy. This is currently my favorite pizza place in Houston by far, but everything is awesome! It was a little hard to find at first, because it's actually INSIDE inspire gym. You don't have to be a member to eat at the cafe though, and I highly recommend it. Every person i've taken is blown away at the quality and flavor. 5 stars for sure. read more
