Hmm ill be brutally honest. We came in during dinner time on a Sunday night and got seated right away. The service was impeccable because there were only two/three (?) servers but they were all paying attention to details esp when it came to grill change. Im not sure how that would be efficient switching out the type of grills if it was a packed full house. The normal meat quality was bad, and considering we got the pricier menu the selection of wagyu meat was still limited. You ever get that feeling of eating something oily and just feel bad/tired/groggy the whole day? That's how the meat had me leaving. The fire in the grill did not distribute evenly, so be prepared to figure out which side is hotter so you don't end up burning/undercooking. Im sorry but the banchan was really bad it tasted store bought and watered down, cucumber side was so bitter. i think the best things were the matcha salt (it couldve been green tea salt) and sodas cuz they came in a can The restaurant itself was not very well cleaned (oil sticky seats and tables) and im not sure if its due to the fact servers are swamped, the decor was basic in my opinion it looked like they wanted a more modern chic look but overall it came out tacky. Ambiance was alright if you're going there for a date but bathrooms are weird, I could not get over the fact of the blurred bathroom door being infront of the toilet... also, if youre going to have a $47 Aesop hand soap diluted with water at that point just replace with costco hand soap if you want to save $$. I would LOVE to have clean hands after using the bathroom. For the two of us it ended up costed ~$130. Overall, the place has great potential but we won't be coming back.

My friend and I were looking for something delicious to eat in Brea area after shopping -- we went on Yelp and were happy/pleased to see that 356 Korean barbecue had opened in Brea! I'm sure everyone who is a local resident of Brea knows that there are not many Korean barbecue joints around this area! How exciting! My friend and I arrived around 8:30 on a Wednesday night. When arriving our hostess and serve, kindly greeted us and explained how the menu works. She then quickly cleaned our table and had a seat seated immediately. 356 has three different tiers for the dinner menu. My friend and I opted in for the middle tier, which was fantastic. Some highlights of the meal include - the marinated brisket, LA galbi, and the rib finger meat! Another wonderful addition is that anytime you want to order more you can simply use the tablet and order banchan or more meat! They do not overdo the meat portions and give you too much, which is great - you can try more of everything this way! The restaurant itself is beautiful - it gave modern, chic, and a classic date night vibe! Would highly recommend! Service is fantastic, food is wonderful, vibes are great - what more can you ask for?!

356 is exceptional in their meat quality and you can taste it in each bite. Some things I wish were better was not having to order every single banchan on the screen. It would be awesome if the banchan was already set on the table. The grill is shaped so that the fat falls into the sides of the grill which is fabulous. Service was great as well. Wish there were metal utensils and everything is given in these paper containers which is a waste. I would definitely come back just for the meat. Food was so delicious!!

Wasn't expecting to enjoy 356 so much. The service was on point. Never had to ask for a grill change and everything came out promptly. All the servers checked on us and made sure we were taken care of even on a busy Friday night. Meat quality is impeccable I highly recommend the highest tier as the wagyu and limited items were phenomenal. Also, many kbbq places tend to slack on the cleanliness and overall feel kinda greasy. I was impressed with how clean the booths and bathrooms were. Will definitely be back!

I will start by saying this place deserves a 5 star BUT the music is sooooo loud it gave me a headache LOL I LOOOOVE House Music as IT is a representative of 80's culture, I LOOVE high energy music but this place is way too small for SUPER LOUD sounds. (the music dominates the space) The restaurant has an ENERGETIC decor a chill vibe to it. We had the Premium special $45.00 per person. It included these premium meats 1: Ribeye 2: LaGalbi 3: Jumullok 4: FIB Finger 5: Spicy Rib Finger 6: Marinated Rib Finger I ordered Pho and the noddles came over cooked but the broth did have a wonderful flavor. The meats tasted fresh and well preserved. We also tried the Spicy Baby Octopus, these are delicious, beautiful texture and as fresh as you can get from a restaurant thats not seated next to the ocean. My least favorite was the fried Dumplings, too greasy and had zero flavor for my taste. The service was good.

A different concept in AYCE KBBQ!! Love the ambience in there. You get to pick one of 3 menus. I picked the middle because I wasn't as hungry for top notch. Great choice as everything we had was amazing. Staff very attentive the entire night. A different take on the sesame oil let matcha salt. Loved that we could each order a ribeye steak that was our favorite. We also loved the garlic pork belly and chuck steak.

We got seated within 5 mins from putting our names on the electronic waitlist tablet outside We got the Omakase Special ($61) Menu As a starter these three items come out first Wagyu Short Rib Beef short Rib American Wagyu Cube Short Rib For the banchans (sides), all have to be ordered which is pretty smart to reduce waste. We got... The steamed egg lacks flavor Seaweed salad was good Red Radish was good Garlic (thinly sliced) + Jalapeño + Soy Bean Paste sauce Kim Chee was ok Cucumber Kim Chee was ok Rice paper, can't go wrong Fried chicken Garlic pork belly was ok Marinated beef brisket was the best of the meats we had I believe we got some light colored thinly rolled meat, this was NOT good! Unfortunately this place doesn't serve dessert. Service was great! Food not so much. All-in-all, we probably would be checking out other places. And honestly, I think the Basic ($45) menu would've been sufficient.

I recently dined at Park's BBQ (one of the most premium high-end K-BBQ spots in LA), and honestly, I couldn't tell the difference in meat quality here! The marbling on the beef is absolutely insane. For $59 per person, getting this level of premium, fresh-cut meat ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT is just unreal in today's economy. Unlike other AYCE spots that serve lower-grade or frozen meats, 356 sets a whole new standard.

If you're anywhere near Brea and haven't tried 356 KBBQ on Imperial, you're missing out on one of the top 3 AYCE Korean BBQ experiences in the OC area--yes, it's that good. I've already visited twice in two weeks, and the quality has been consistently impressive. What really sets 356 apart is the beef: fresh, flavorful, tender, and far above the usual AYCE standard. Most AYCE spots rely on quantity over quality, but 356 flips that narrative--everything is better than par. Even though the restaurant is new, the operation is remarkably organized. The service is another highlight--professional, attentive, and genuinely courteous without hovering. Plates clear quickly, orders are taken promptly, and the pacing is spot-on. While many KBBQ places lean heavily on beef, 356 stands out with a wide selection of pork and chicken options as well. Everything I tried was solid, but I need to take a moment to shout out their steamed egg--silky, fluffy, and dangerously addictive. I could honestly eat it all day. And whatever you do, don't skip the kimchi. It's bold, bright, and absolutely the bomb. Fresh cuts, great variety, elite-level service, clean and organized setup--356 KBBQ is the whole package. This is a new Brea hotspot that absolutely deserves the hype. Will I be returning? Already planning my next visit.

Located in the Home Depot shopping center in Brea on Imperial. AYCE for $35 lunch. Two menus to choose from. Premium menu includes sushi omakase. We will try it for dinner next visit. - Steam Egg is on the bland side - corn cheese was good - spicy beef brisket is good but not spicy, has a mesquite taste to it - pork jowl and pork belly is good - Kim chi has a nice flavor - house salad and onion salad is ok, saturated in dressing so I would ask for light dressing next time - marinated short ribs was ok but the marinate was on the sweet side for me - 365 beef belly was good - rib finger is good - spicy octopus is really good. Love the marinate. - green tea salt is served with the condiments and we loved it Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant is clean and food is good quality. I will defs come back for the premium dinner menu. Great addition for the Brea foodies!

After a couple visits to 356, I'm concluding that it's nice to finally have a proper KBBQ in north OC. The quality of the meats here are good- in fact they fresh slice most of the meats including the brisket cha-dohl. Service improved greatly since the first visit and the servers promptly refilled meats and panchan. With any of the 3 AYCE choices, they include Korean soups like kimchi or egg, but I do wish they will include spicy bean paste soup (daenjang) in the future. As for the meats, the rib finger cuts (marinated and non) are my favorites followed by different large steaks like 356. Our group of 4 had a great visit yesterday and we're already discussing a return.

This restaurant was so good! I ordered the premium experience. The quality of the meat was amazing and banchan was flavorful. I especially liked the steamed egg, bulgogi, and of course the rice paper. Service was excellent too as they taught us how to cook scallop. Nice ambiance, if you sit close enough you can see the chefs slicing the meat. Price and wait time was good. I would come back, especially for special occasions!

But this experience we had this past week was really bad that we've decided that we likely will be stop coming to our local Lucille's. Read other reviews on here that aren't left a while back and looks like they've also mention how Lucille's quality along as service has gone down tremendously a lot. When we were seated, we didn't get any assistance from a server til 10 mins plus. We had to ask the associate that was wiping down tables if he was covering our area to get some assistance. He informed us that our server should be right over. Our fountain drinks that we ordered Sprite, Dr Pepper and sweet tea tasted off. There was barely any carbonation nor did the sweet tea had any sweetening to the tea we loved here. We informed our server and she told the manager gal. The manager came and spoke to us 5 mins later and confirmed to us she noticed the fountain drinks were off and was having an associate replace the fountain drinks machine but meanwhile offered if we can get another drink in the time being without no charge so we may enjoy something with our meals. We took the offer n got a strawberry lemonade along w a peach lemonade also while waiting for the replacement soda. My kids weren't too much of a fan of lemonade but tried their best to enjoy the lemonade. About 20 mins to half n hour later. The manager did see us and came back to ask how our replacement soda tasted and we informed her we never got our replacement soda. She let an associate know and we finally got our replacement soda. But by then, we were about done w our meals and was pretty full. Ask an associate that is now no longer our original server but a server that was just bringing our food and drinks to us. A to go cup so we can just take our replacement soda to go. We never got out to go cup. Either they were short staffed that evening or associates just wasn't happy being there. Because when we asked for Togo containers too. It took some time to get it. Please Lucille's management, if you see this review. Look into your staffs. The restaurant is clean it's just there are some etiquettes that need to be going over. A BIG HUGE READ FLAG. Why would an associate be SWEEPING RIGHT NEXT TO A TABLE THAT IS CURRENTLY TRYING TO ENJOY THEIR DINNER. Where do you think sweeping the floor. The dust particles up in the air would go to. It'll be flying around where we are digesting our food. This is something no one would enjoy seeing when eating. Not sure if the associate didn't have a clue regards to this. ITS POOR HYGIENE for a restaurant industry. I was feeling under the weather along there was no upper management nor much associate to even let them know what we were dealing with. With all of the ordeal and mishap. If you look at my review b4 this. We've got a complimentary bday celebration dessert but this time. We just wanted to be done. Didn't even bother doing our annual bday celebration there that my son enjoys with his uncle for their bday celebration tradition. We still left a 16% tip because we know how things are with possibly server just being low staffed. Because we saw our original server Alyssa at the end b4 leaving the restaurant. She was able to give us a set of Togo boxes. Told us she apologized she couldn't continue serving us because she had a bigger party of 15 to attend to. That would've been great to know b4 she left our table to serve the other table so we weren't turning our head constantly trying to find any service from anyone. We just decided to pay on the tablet. By than didn't want to deal with anyone and wanted to leave asap. Since that was the only service that can help us pay for our bill. Please LUCILLES...DO BETTER!

Don't sleep on the taco Tuesday here, folks. It's the only day they offer tacos and it's a bargain…read more I'm not a huge BBQ guy, personally. About twice a year is all I need to meet my smoked meat hankering. This place is great for when I'm in the mood for BBQ, but it's my go-to spot on Tuesdays for these $3 tacos. Massive tacos made with substantial handmade tortillas and protein of your choice. I usually go with the perfectly grilled and smoky shrimp, but other options include tri-tip, brisket, pork belly or pulled pork. The best part is that they griddle one side of the tortilla with queso fresco first and then flip it over to griddle the other side with the filling inside. The result is a perfectly chewy, yet sturdy vehicle with an internal layer of cheese browned into the tortilla, holding all of the goodies (protein, raw onion and cilantro) intact. Their house made salsa is more of a roasted salsa verde but works really well with the smoky meats and packs some good heat. This place goes hard on the hunger and easy on the wallet. Cheap beers on tap is a nice touch, too.

EVERYTHING was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The meatloaf is not a traditional meatloaf. It was shredded tender meat marinated in delectable spices. The tripl tip was also tender, suberb cut (little to no fat) and a sizable portion. The sides were large enough to share especially the baked potato and Mexican corn. The fried chicken was great and I couldn't stop stealing my kid's fries. Again, everything was delicious. We'll be back for more!
