I would strongly suggest not to go with 3 Day Blinds. Blinds came in damaged. Blinds came in with the wrong measurements and the color was more yellow hues than the linen that I chose. I asked for a refund for the ones that the measurements and color were wrong.... I'm still being told that it's going to take another 5-10 business days!!!! I should have had my refund by now!! Just don't that's all I can say. We ordered in the beginning of december 2023. 8 in total. We were told we would get them at the end of january. We did not get them installed until the third week of march and I had to call to make the appointment. When I called, they said oh yeah, sure, blinds came in on Friday.I called on monday. Three day blinds is more like three and a half months! I called and checked on this order so many times and every time I will say customer service was very sympathetic but I still did not get my blinds! On the plus side my room darkening blinds do look great! And the installer they sent out was wonderful. Just save yourself the hassle and do not go with 3 day blinds! Unless you're willing to wait! I placed an order on Saturday April 6, 2024 using my credit card. The next day I changed my mind and I emailed the official notification of cancellation document to customer service. I also faxed it to them. It now has been 5 business days and I still have not been issued a credit on my credit card. In my opinion, it should not take this long to receive refund. read more

This has been the worst experience as a consumer I have ever had. Everything started fine with the salesman and ordering. Once the measurements were taken I was told it would be approximately 2 weeks to actually have the blinds installed. Fast forward 2 months, I get an email saying my blinds are delayed a month. I wait the month, send an email looking for an updated timeline and was given a specific date a couple weeks later. That day comes and goes and I heard nothing from the company. I reach out again and the customer service rep informed me that my order was approved but never put through processing so it will be another 2 weeks. At this point, I was very frustrated and they did reimburse me some money back. However, the install date was pushed back another 2 weeks. Also, they did not reimburse my money right away when they said they did, that took another email to get straightened out. FINALLY, 4 months later, the install was scheduled. They came, installed 1 of 2 blinds and told me there was a measurement/cutting problem and the 2nd blind would not fit, it needed to be cut down. The guy installing the blinds told me they just have to cut it down at the shop and could come back later that night. I get another phone call from the installation company to reschedule the blind to be installed 8 days later. That was unacceptable and they gave me every excuse in the book to not come back later that day to finish the job. They expected me to move my entire schedule around to fit their needs. The next day they came back to finish the installation. I thought everything was fine after that and I no longer need to deal with this terrible company.....until the handle on the blind broke the very next day. I will never use this company again and wish I would have gotten a larger reimbursement for their shit product, that costs a lot of money, which breaks within 1 use. read more

Once we made a payment, 3DaysBlins and everyone involved with the company (starting from the Seattle sales representative to fabricators and installers) have not delivered what was ordered. Don't do it. We spent thousands on motorized blinds for the 6 windows in our master bedroom. The motor stopped working on one of them. They have a lifetime warranty but they charged us to come out and take it in for repair or replacement. Repair was to be completed in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later we received an email that it is not repairable and we would receive a replacement in 2 weeks. It's been months without a blind and now no one will talk to us. When we call they place us on hold and don't come back. On 2 separate calls today I remained on hold for 21 minutes and then later another 15 to get an update. He helped us find the perfect solution in a roller shade. Upon the closing of the location, David left and Jon S took over. He handled everything beautifully. She ignored the fact she pro.ised to keep on track of my order and to have the same persin do my entire install. At tbis point my order is half installed. The promised installer is on other jobs so they are trying to get me to use an installer from Houston(?!) who only works weekends. 800#'s go to voice mail or say they are closed (they aten't it is 10 am on a saturday). The truth about 3 Day Blinds - the company should rename itself "3 Month Blinds" because that's how long or longer it takes them to complete the installations. This would be okay if that is what was agreed. We specifically chose this company over a competitor because they stated the blinds would be installed in 1 month. They knew/should have known this was not true, but chose to misstate. We would NOT have chosen them but for this reason and they ended up installing way later than their competitor. Their installing company was rude had to reschedule multiple times and could not install everything in one appointment on a small apartment. I ordered my blinds June 10th, and was told I can finance after I close so it wouldn't affect my credit, I said great. We gave the initial payment to Frank Roman with the understanding the rest would be financed after we close within the month. Unopened closing we tried contacting Frank to finish the payment and his phone has been going to voicemail for 2 weeks now. I've been contacting 3 day blinds for 10 days, and when I told them Frank wasn't calling me back they said "sorry we don't know what to tell you." Now we want to cancel because they don't know what to do, they won't give us our down payment back. It's no big deal about the down payment I'm just going to go to civil court and sue for the money back. Because it's just presenting evidence 3 day blinds will have to provide all phone conversations that will be heard in court. Greensky financing, who has been amazing, has cancelled my order and started a case, and agreed to provide me with all on their phone calls about the situation, and has the three way conversation that was made Friday. It will take several months to get my money back but the lawyer cost me $500 that I'll be taking on to my lawsuit. Do not use 3 day blinds. I have never encountered such poor service from a company. Today is August 29... I ordered my blinds at the end of May and they still are not in my home. The actual measurement process was fine. The technician/salesperson was perfectly lovely. On time, very friendly, very efficient. From there it went downhill. Once the initial consult happens they are supposed to come do a second measurement before the order goes out. I travel a lot for work so it took some time to schedule (a couple of weeks). In between the consult and when that was supposed to happen, I emailed the salesperson to change one of the styles to match the first style I had chosen because I didn't want two different styles. For some reason, he ordered a third style altogether, but more on that later. Anyway, at some point, I received a call that my blinds were ready to install which didn't make any sense because I hadn't had the second appointment nor had anyone confirmed any kind of financial change to me, so I asked the person on the phone to confirm the styles and they were indeed incorrect. At that point I filed a case with 3 day blinds, which the case worker handled in the course of a day or so initially... however that was a month ago, and I've been trying to get ahold of her to finish the process and close out the order and i have left countless voicemails and emails to both her and to the main line and haven't received any follow up whatsoever. I've spent thousands of dollars on something that I still don't have based on a simple error that has snowballed into the worst customer experience of my life. Pros: * Sales intially is great - they really get you thinking they're a great company * options on colors, valences, etc. are awesome * The quickness of which I could get an apt for a sales person to come out was much better than any company I scheduled online - it was taking weeks for other people to come out * Paula was intially great - (read cons) Cons: *They want payment IMMEDIATELY. So you pay, and then from there your experience is subpar. * Installers installed my master bedroom shades into the drywall - my fiance is in construction and couldn't believe that they would install into the wall when you pull on shades daily - of course they're bound to fall out. Oh and guess what, THEY DID. *My master bedroom shade fell staight out of the wall and I was left with an unuseable shade for 2 weeks. The best part? When I called Horcher construction, they made an apt for an installer to come out. I took off work only for nobody to call me to let me know they we're coming and NOBODY SHOWED UP. I called the front desk woman and was told by a Lisa that someone was coming 3 times. They never did. She couldn't even tell me who or why they we'ren't calling me... just an absolute shit show. * The following week I had to set another appointment because my back ordered peices that I did order we're in stock and when I told the women what had happened (this was not Lisa) she was shocked and had no idea. odd. She apologized and set my following appointment *Part of my order that I actually paid for (2 valances) we're back ordered ... but I paid for them... see how it doesn't make sense lol these took an additional month to get in and installed. Both of them were the wrong size. Carlos had to cut them to make them fit and one doesn't even fit properly on my wall. It sloped and has a scratch that was covered by white wood glue... k lol. * If a shade /curtain that you like is out of stock during your time of purchase you can't order it or it will cost more than ordering it when it was in stock.. This made no sense why would an item would be more expensive because it's out of stock... how is that your customers fault? *Throughout all of this, I couldn't get a hold of my sales rep Paula for the life of me. She has an email - I emailed her, no response. I texted her my experience with Horcher Construction, no response. SHE GOT HER SALE. She doesn't care about me anymore. Oh and the funny part is, the invoice she told me she would send me for the 2 windows in my kitchen that we're back ordered that I couldn't order at the time... well she never sent it. So now I have 2 windows in my kitchen just empty because she couldn't do that right. Anyways, it's still a harry potter book. I'd reccomend measuring your own windows, going to lowes or select blinds, and installing them yourself. It not only would be a fraction of the cost, but you don't have to deal with people that don't know how to do their job. Right now, I'm left with a valence that is scratched up and sloped off my wall and 2 windows not covered because sales people don't follow up. We ordered Plantation Shutters and a couple sheer blinds for the upper level of our home and the design consultant that came to our house was Linda Larson. She was absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend her enough. She arrived exactly on time for our appointment, had everything she needed with her, walked us through our options, and even provided some no-nonsense viewpoints that we had not thought of (we are first-time home buyers who had never had to think about things such as window treatments). Linda was not pushy and completely practical, she let us make the decisions and provided helpful input when requested. Everything was setup and ordered that day and, on installation day, everything came out 100% correct. Oh, and it all looks GREAT! We were so happy that we made sure it was Linda who came back when we decided it was time to pull the trigger on the lower level of our home. Once again, it was a superb experience that left us feeling confident in our decisions. After nearly 9 months all of our draperies and shades are installed. The last drapery came without hanging hooks, so instead of waiting weeks or months for them to fix it, we purchased the hooks ourselves. The installers also used the wrong parts and the bar nearly pulled the drywall out when we tried to hang the drapes. We got 3 Day Blinds to ship the correct parts directly to us (thanks to the very helpful customer service rep, Bashar). We installed the hardware on the wall, stuck at least 100 hooks into the fabric, and hung the drapes ourselves. I am glad it's done, but this is certainly not the promise that was made when I spent A LOT of money for these window treatments 9 months ago. We have been offered a reasonable refund for our troubles. That helps, but I still would not recommend the company to anyone. read more

Very poor quality service for the price. We had 5 windows done and 2 of them look great! Looks complete and high quality. The other three windows the quality of the work was very poor. They tout that their differentiator in the business is their wood valences and they turned out to be crooked, uneven, and the caulk job to seal the seams completely failed. When asked the installer about it he said "Well it looks pretty good, and it's not dried yet" Communication between the installer and the saleswomen was very poor. They essentially continued to play the blame game on one another which was very elementary and frankly, annoying. Just get it done, and correctly. Still nothing was done to fix the mess of the crooked valences, so for $1,000 a window it was essentially wasted. Do not recommend, they are not what they used to be. read more

We purchased blinds from 3 Day Blinds and discovered one of the blinds is already tearing apart and tried to get service to fix it but no response to message I had to leave on their phone system. Lifting the blinds is difficult. We purchase one large motor driven blind for the large main room window that works great and that is the only reason I can give them one star. read more

I purchased a motorized blind. Works nicely when it works but has occasionally stopped working. It can get stuck in the up position with a dead battery which takes hours to charge. It also needed a service tech twice in two years, both times stuck in the up position. That is a difficult process. It requires a call, then a two day wait for the schedulers to call, then you start the process. If it needs parts, which it did once, that is another wait and another rescheduling. I have a blind stuck in the open position in my bathroom. Looks like we'll have to get out a bed sheet again. read more

Blinds were selected and paid for on 5/6/2023. They've just been installed on 6/30/2023. There are some positives, which I'll begin with before the negatives. Our initial sales visit was great, with Matthew D. He came to our house and helped us make our selections. Other positives were that anyone who entered our home for measurement and installation were friendly and professional - no problems with them personally. The main problems lie with the installation company we were working with, Penrod Installations out of Illinois. What a disaster. First of all, when an emergency arose and I had to change our installation date, it took me 2 days to get a hold of someone at Penrod. They never answer their phone and it took 2 days for me to get a return phone call. On our installation date, the installer from Penrod arrived with only half of our blinds (3 out of 7) and seemed surprised that no one had contacted us. Apparently the other box was damaged in shipment. He left because we didn't only want half installed - we didn't want only half done rooms (it would have been so that one room with a 3-panel window would have only had 2 of 3 installed - which would look horrible). I waited all day for Penrod to call us and tell us how they would fix this situation. They never did!! I left 2 voicemails and again it took 2 days for a response. This was a Friday, and I was told that since items had to be remanufactured, I'd have to wait until around Tuesday for that to complete and then we would be able to schedule the installation. Well, Tuesday came and went and later that week when I tried again to call Penrod, no answers and no returned voicemail. Finally that Friday I contacted 3Day Blinds directly and was set up with a customer care rep who was assuring me she would take care of this. She couldn't even reach Penrod!! Early the following week when I hadn't heard anything, I emailed my 3 Day Blinds customer care person and low and behold, Penrod decided to call me back. Even though I had half of the blinds in my garage, they decided to remanufacture everything. Apparently it wasn't until the customer care person took over that they finally decided to do something. I did get a phone call (I was super vigilant, even at work, because I knew that if I missed any calls from Penrod I'd never be able to reach them) and we scheduled the install for about a week and a half later, the earliest they could. The final straw was when our installer arrived, he was under the impression this was a "replacement" visit, and he wasn't aware that all of our old blinds were still up and he'd have to take them down. Not his fault. Another side effect of the horrible communication from Penrod. Our contract from weeks before stated that they would take care of removing and disposing of the old blinds. The installer removed them and put up the new ones that day, but he didn't have a large enough truck to dispose of our old stuff, so now they sit in our garage and it's our responsibility to throw them away. Communication at Penrod was absolutely awful. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is again because of the individuals who came to our home were professional and good at their jobs. The blinds also look great (finally). So you see this went on way too long. Meanwhile, my husband and I both have jobs, and were anxious to put this past us - especially considering it had been WEEKS since we paid for everything! We have lives and jobs, and we have a pet who doesn't take well to random visitors in the house, so not knowing when the installation would take place was extremely stressful. I also couldn't understand why 3 Day Blinds continued to make us work with Penrod after everything that happened. Why not use a different contractor for us? I did request that. Also, after my initial contact with our customer care specialist, I was disappointed that more wasn't done for us. No discount or reimbursement was offered to us for all of this trouble. When I asked her about that via email, I got no response. I understand that things happen. Our box getting damaged in shipment was no one's fault. But the amount of time this took to resolve and the horrible communication made this a terrible e experience for us and I don't anticipate using 3 Day Blinds again and I do not recommend them. ​ read more

The TLDR of this is you better hope things are done right the first time, because the customer service once you've paid is atrocious. I needed shades replaced on some very tall floor to ceiling windows in my condo. After doing some research, I had several designers from several companies come out to pitch ideas for rolling shades. The designer who came was okay. She was nice enough and gave me plenty of options but I also felt comparatively to the other designers I spoke with, the one from 3 day blinds was less open to listening to my preferences and more keen on pushing what her preference was. Not the biggest deal, but not the easiest to work with. The first big red flag came with the obvious high pressure sales tactics. Compared to the other quotes I received, 3 day blinds pressured you to make a decision right away. Granted, their prices were lower than some of the competition but they offer a decent discount for making a decision within 24 hours and after I hadn't made a decision right away, I was contacted telling me I was running out of time to make a decision to receive the discount. I ultimately ended up spending the several thousand dollars with 3 day blinds. From my understanding, it's normal to take estimated measurements during your consultation and then take precise measurements after you've decided on a purchase. Second measurements were never made after my purchase. It was about two weeks between my initial purchase in early December and the blinds being cut and installed shortly before Christmas. The installation process was smooth. Scheduled an appointment, they came right on time, the installer was friendly and professional. But here is where the problems really started. Once the 4 roller shades had been installed, it quickly became apparent that the lack of precise measurements was a problem because the original measurements didn't take into account the width the baseboard protruded from the wall. Which meant the two outside shades on the large window pane sat about 6 inches higher than the center shade. The installer mentioned the problem and told me I would be able to have it fixed. I told him I needed a couple days to see if I could live with it the way it was and he offered to take pictures and notate it in my account that I possibly wanted to have them remeasured and re-cut. This was right before Christmas so I waited until just past the holidays. January 4th, I contacted 3 day blinds and told them I was indeed not happy with the mismatched height of the shades and I would like the outside shades to be cut to account for the protrusion of the baseboard. I was transferred to a case manager who informed me that no notes had been put in about the sizing issue and that the account was just listed as completed. After explaining that the installer had told me he was going to write it up in my account and clearly hadn't, he assured me that it would be taken care of and that he would get back to me once they could get ahold of the installer and find out what happened. 3 weeks go by and I don't hear a word from the company. So I call again on January 25th and after being put on hold, the customer service rep comes back and tells me that they're still resolving the issue with the status of my account and that it should be resolved by the following Monday. I also asked to speak with my case manager who wasn't available at the time and I was told he would call me back by the next business day. I don't hear from the case manager and another week and a half goes by with no call from the company. So I again call customer service and this time I'm told that whatever they were waiting on had been fixed so I could schedule measurements for the fixed shades. Scheduling the measurements took a minute for the schedules to line up, but the installation company did come out and take measurements for the fix as needed. On February 16th, the installation company called saying they were ready to schedule the installation. Due to more scheduling conflicts with my work and their schedule, the installation was supposed to be scheduled Monday, March 6th in the morning, not ideal for my schedule and meant I had to go out of my way to be back home at that time, but it was at least finally going to be done. March 6th comes and goes and I don't hear a word from either company. The following day, I wake up in the hotel I'm in for work to several voicemails from the installation company because they had shown up to my condo the day after I had asked to be scheduled. Assuming it was an honest mistake and either they misheard me or put in the wrong date, I called them back to reschedule. The installation was rescheduled for the morning of March 13th, which I verified for a second time before getting off the phone to make sure there was no miscommunication. Now the morning of March 13th has come and gone with no contact from either the installation company or 3 day blinds. read more

I used this group out of desperation because they were the only contractor group that could fulfill an order during CV19. This project is for a rental home so I have been in communication with my tenants during the install. I requested from 3 day blinds that all communication go through me since I'm the owner. I was contacted today by my tenant that the blinds that were installed cannot open or shut. In addition, the measurements for the other windows were incorrect so the blinds do not fit and could not be installed. If I didn't hear from my tenants I would have no idea the job wasn't complete. The only communication I have received from 3 day blinds is an email survey on their "completed" work. We ordered shutters on January 20th, 2023, put down 50%, and was told by our representative it would be the end of April or beginning of May for installation. I called last week (April 18th) to inquire about the status and was told the order was cancelled. Long story short, 3 Day Blinds did absolutely NOTHING to help rectify their huge mistake. We are still waiting for our deposit that was credited 7 days ago. 3 Day Blinds has ZERO customer service, NO accountability, and literally no communication among various levels/departments in their company. Zero stars. They accidentally installed a roller blind on a paneled wood front door, instead of the window where it was supposed to be installed. The door is ruined. Dealing with Three Day Blind's customer service trying to address their negligence has been the most frustrating experience. The customer service process is clearly designed to fatigue the customer so they no longer pursue claims that do not fit neatly into a patch and paint repair situation. The sales representative never responded after the sale, to help us through the service issue.
