Poor construction and installation.

After this company charged me an excessive amount of money to have blinds installed in my living room and dining room, the results of their installation was a horrible, cheap looking product. Some of their fittings weren't even the correct size and we are still waiting for them to finish the installation. For example, our previous blinds had the angle brackets, installed above the blinds to where they were out of view and did not look as ugly as what 3 Day Blinds installed. It looks like the materials are very cheaply constructed, like using particleboard and fake wood laminate instead of real materials. I am almost certain that for thousands of dollars less I could've constructed the same draperies had I purchased them at a home furnishing store.

After complaining several times and giving a 1 STAR review that one of the roller shades does not properly clear the baseboard, 3 Day Blinds agreed to have someone come out and remeasure. Below my email to customer service and their reply. I requested a remeasure to find out why they are not fitting correctly and a remeasure was never done. Even if the sliding door has a squareness issue if measured correctly it should fit better than it does. Obviously the customer service person did not read my email thoroughly since I mentioned that the person that came out was not willing to remeasure so how would they know if there is a squareness problem. I am very disappointed and hugely regret my purchase. My email: Someone different came out from Rayline and was not willing to remeasure. He said he has done this job long enough and knows what the problem is. His solution was to put some scotch tape on the roller and tell me it was fine. It now barely clears the baseboard. If you look at the photo you can see that the left shade does not really overlap with the middle part of the sliding door. The original installer had to move the left shade all the way to the left to make the right shade fit. I would like to have the original installer come back and take some measurements and have the shades redone. For $1800 I think I can expect them to fit perfectly and not be fixed with some scotch tape on the roller. 3Day Blinds reply: Our installer was able to adjust the installation by shimming the right shade slightly downward, which allowed it to track further away from the baseboard and align more cleanly. We hope this adjustment has helped improve the overall look and function. As a reminder, per your contract, it is at the sole discretion of 3 Day Blinds whether a shade is remade or if an issue can be resolved with an installer's return visit. In this case, the gaps and alignment are within our installation specifications, so a remake is not being issued at this time. That said, I've reached out to the installer for confirmation on whether there may be any squareness issues with the window itself. If the window is not square, that can impact the fit and appearance of the treatment, and unfortunately, that's something beyond our control, as it relates to the window structure rather than the product or measurement. We appreciate your understanding, and of course, if any warranty-related issues come up in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
