The owner of this business can just be a bit more polite. I bought one small drapery that costs me $500, and they quoted me $400 for installation. I have no objection to the quote--it is a free market, so you can quote whatever you want. I replied him, trying to be polite (and hope he will send a lower quote, if possible), saying "this is too high for a small window, so thank you but I will pass". I think for a normal, polite person, they can just ignore my message if they don't want to lower the price. Or they can simply say something like "price not negotiable" or "have a good day". Surprisingly, they replied below: "You could have just ignored it. Thanks for making me pay for you to say no" Very rude. As a customer, I'm looking for services. I never expected that I will be educated by someone. This is like walking into Walmart and asking the price of an apparel, the staff tells you it is $100, then I said "oh that's too expensive", then the staff replied "you could have just put down the clothes without saying anything--just shut your mouth" I don't think you paid me anything, nor did I to you. Again, I hope you will be doing well in your business, and I don't doubt your professionalism. I am just writing down my current thoughts. Have a good day! They even went into the hall closet and the bedroom closet with the flooring. And this included the steps from the hallway to the kitchen. They also installed the stair treads which all matched nicely. The second job was another bedroom which they completed in one day. Anion is a family-ran business, offering a noticeably more personable customer experience than dealing with larger big-name companies. They also provided me with the most competitive quote. The apartment is nice when you first move in but it quickly falls apart. The pain chips, the sink…read morechips, the blinds chip, even the "granite" chips. You can hear everything through the walls as they are paper thin, even a cough from your neighbor sounds like they're standing in your living room. The management office is unbelievably rude, especially the AA woman. My dishwasher flooded and the water was up to my ankles, trying to get maintenance out to your apartment is a joke. If you complain to management they start doing spiteful things such as sending packages away, even going as far as writing up false noise complaints. The reason I know they're false is because the complaints didn't start until 3 years after I lived there and my neighbors assured me that they never complained or heard any noise (outside of standard living) coming from my apartment. There isn't many up to date rental properties in highland but I promise this place is NOT worth it.
