I had sliding vinyl windows put in last fall and I have been very satisfied with them. Before I had bad drafting from my windows, but I haven't noticed anything since. The new windows also helped with my heating bill, so yes I'm very satisfied. I thought their quote was reasonable and they were willing to come out for installation. The installation itself wasn't too much of a hassle for me. I was also told that they would come back to fix or 'fine-tune' the window if anything wasn't right, but there were no problems. read more

Trim-a-seal Epoxied my garage floor June 2022. Had a crack in the floor, they came out to fix the crack and charged $250 for coming out. There is a 15year warranty but they still charge $250 for a visit. I have 2 more cracks, I called for an explanatio. They want to charge $250 again to come out to fix them. My SunSetter Awning is JUNK!! Trim A Seal installed July 25' and since six months has passed I CANNOT get a refund!! Not sure if this " Indiana " location is the correct location of my installation team. SunSetter is putting the problem on the installation. I feel it's a design problem, the LED lights fell out of the track. Team came and fixed them and in only a few hours one of them fell out again! Buyer beware. I had my garage floor ground and coated by this company with their coating product at great expense. The sales rep convinced me to also coat the outer lip of the garage, which is exposed to the elements. I was hesitant to do so, but he assured me the product could stand up to the elements. Wrong. The product is peeling up from the lip and the ground concrete underneath is crumbling. Customer service is just giving me the run-around. I've called them multiple times and at their request texted them pictures of the damage multiple times but never received the promised call back to schedule a repair visit/ remediation visit. Overall I am giving them a 5 star rating because of the owner who called me back and Samantha who on her day off called me back as well. The sales process was very smooth and easy. The installation guys did a nice job and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. In mid September of 2022, I contacted and met with a representative from Trim-A-Seal of Indiana for the purposes of epoxy for my garage floor. They quoted me a price. I later called and spoke with the representative and he lowered the price to $5100 which cover all 3 of my garage bays, and the side walls. The agreement was that the company would come the first week of October 2022 and install/apply the epoxy to my garage floor. I contacted them towards the last week of October 2022 (they had not contacted me or completed the agreed work) and asked for a refund. The owner agreed to give me a refund but for only $4700. He stated he would keep the other $400 to pay his sales person commission. I explained no work was ever completed and that I demanded a full refund. The manager refused, I told him I would dispute with my credit card company. I have yet to receive my refund. This company does not care about doing the right thing by people. Buyer beware! No return call recalled on July 8 informed by Samantha that I had just called on Monday. Informed that installer not in my area then stated that installer make they own scheduled. I was calling last minute to get a quote on a window for a house i was selling the next day. They were able to send a guy out and do an assessment on the windows and a quote at 8am the next morning and a quote by 9:30am. This allowed me to close the deal on the house. Richard and Adam installed our 20ft Awning today. They were very professional, spent extra time with me explaining the remote, and helped me realize that I have an outlet that needs to be changed. I wouldn't have known that if it weren't for them because I have a few outlets outside and only use 1 of them. They cleaned up the garbage and disposed of it. Very friendly. We had our gutter helmet installed in December. We are having a problem with one of our gutters draining and we can't get a simple phone call back about when they are coming to fix the issue. I've called 3 times and they give me some ridiculius reason as to why they can't schedule a service call. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

Rodney and Doug were very professional and did an excellent job installing my front door and window. The salesman Drew was pleasant and informative at the initial visit but failed to follow thorough with what was discussed. The contract was signed on July 9th and indicated a six to eight week delivery. The installation took place October 22 well beyond the contract date. Also the frame of the window was installed with a defect and the security door was not the correct color and did not have the pet friendly screen as discussed. Drew stated that the door could not be removed because they would have to pay the installer again. The manager has not returned my call therefore, I have rectified the situation by going to a different company. Trim-a-Seal just lost installing the windows for my home. Worse experience of our life when it comes to home repair. The first person, Ryan who came out did not know what he was doing. In fact, our home repair was screwed up because of what he did. The caulking is awful. It looks like a kid did it. We've been trying since January to get to replaced, it is now July. They were suppose to come out this past Friday but it was raining. I understand that. But I have received no calls to reschedule and now they are no longer returning my calls. I encourage anyone out there thinking of home repair, please do not call them. During the month of November and beginning of December 2015, Trim a Seal worked on re-siding the house we rent in Michigan City. Upon completion we noticed that they did not re install our shutters like they said they would, and they did not re-install our hose holder that was attached to the house. The shutters will be very difficult for us to put up again and very inconvenient for us as well. On top of that, not only did they leave cigarette butts all over our yard that our children play in, but they also left a huge blue tarp laying in the yard that has a very large pile of all their scraps and garbage from during their job here. The tarp is so full of junk that even three full sized men could not move it. And even if they did move it, we do not have a dumpster to put it into and it would fill up our city garbage canister and leave us with nowhere to put our trash from in the house. Last but certainly not least is the fact that we have two little girls ages 5 and 8 who repeatedly had a difficult time getting in the house after being dropped off by the school bus. The Trim a Seal workers would leave big peices of their equipment and of the supplies they need for re-siding the house right in the middle of our front porch. Blocking my children, myself , and my guests access to inside the house. In my opinion all these things i have listed are quite unprofessional and certainly an inconvenience to everyone. In the end, yes, I will admit that the siding on the house does look very nice. But the experience we had with the workers being inconsiderate and also not finishing the job as they promised they would is what is making me write this review. Which has also been sent to the Better Buisness Bureau. Hopefully someone in higher authority with this company will come forward and help resolve these issues. read more
