Thank you to you and your crew, they did a great job roofing my home. You and your crew were professional, courteous and had a general concern for my satisfaction that far exceeded my expectations. They were most helpful with any questions or concerns and made sure that we understood all the work that was being done. Even supplied pictures of before and after repairs were done on some wood that needed to be replaced before applying the new roof. After they completed the roof they cleaned everything up so good you wouldn't even know they were there. I will be referring ARC to anyone I know who is looking for their roof and siding to be done

I found JJ Construction through Yelp…read more I would highly recommend JJ Construction. They provided an honest quote. I actually went out and received 4 quotes. While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. The work quality was top notch. I was highly impressed by JJ Construction and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Matt, for a great job.

Poor Craftsmanship, Long-Term Damage…read more I hired Byrne Johnson (worked with Bill) for a new roof in 2024. Problems started right away: unsealed nail heads and jagged shingle edges hanging over the eaves. Bill came out to fix those, though I had to withhold final payment to get it done. Two years later, we found water coming up through a floorboard in a bedroom. The cause: the chimney was never flashed properly and the shingles around it were poorly installed. Water had been pooling and running down inside our wall for two years. It took a stretch of heavy storms before enough water reached the carpet for us to feel it underfoot. I called Bill. He said he was too busy with roofing jobs to come out, and that despite my 5-year guarantee, this wasn't covered under warranty. The roofer I hired instead was taken aback by what he found -- not just the chimney, but crooked shingle lines, more unsealed nails, and missing flashing in other spots. That company is just as busy this time of year and still managed to show up and fix it.

The team was great, they did a beautiful job, they cleaned up and were mindful of our neighbor's driveway. Would definitely hire them again. I asked for the leak to be stopped, but instead of addressing the actual source of the problem, the…read moresolution provided was to heavily apply caulk across my porch roof. Unfortunately, the roof is still leaking. The situation has actually become worse, as the water is now getting in behind the siding instead of just dripping from the roof. This not only fails to solve the problem but also risks causing further damage to my home's structure. I expect a proper repair that addresses the root cause of the leak--not just a cosmetic or temporary fix.
