Here's what happened: In Spring 2023 we hired Mr. Paint to paint our deck. After the work was completed the paint was peeling after only a few months. We contacted him later that summer, he came out to look at the job, agreed it wasn't prepped correctly and offered to return in the following Spring and re-do the work. He returned in Spring with a Sherwin Williams Rep who confirmed that the site wasn't prepped correctly, it was power washed one day before painting and the wood, still retaining moisture, then expanded after painting leading to extensive cracks and peeling. After his own paint rep confirmed the site was not correctly prepped Mr. Paint then blamed the third party contractor that HE HIRED and refused to re-do the job as he previously promised and also refused to return our money. We are now out $1275 and our deck looks worse than before it was painted. It will cost us more to repair his company's poor workmanship than the amount we originally paid him. We are now filing in small claims court to have our money returned and have filed a complaint against Mr. Paint with States Attorneys Office.

I had been collaborating with Frank Dixon regarding the roof replacement issues. I inquired whether Frank's company also handled porch work. Frank played a crucial role in organizing everything. On 5/22/2025 Manny and Julian arrived slightly before 8:30 AM. They informed me of their arrival at my residence. Manny and Julian took measurements for the materials, letting me know they would head to the store and return. They came back in about an hour. I am extremely pleased with the porch replacement. Additionally, I truly appreciated their professionalism and the respect they showed for my property during the construction process.
