I called this company based on proximity and Yelp reviews. The reviews were accurate. I needed several faux wood blinds, duettes, and shutters cleaned. I also wanted to purchase an additional blind and some shutter repair. My initial call was met with a very quick call back. We had all kinds of phone issues and played phone tag several times. Jon was persistent and patient. We scheduled an appointment for the work. Follow up and scheduling was immediate. Mike called me and let me know, the day of service, that he was running slightly off schedule. I had asked for a call in advance so that I could leave work and meet him. He accommodated and we connected. I met him, we went over the job, and he gave me great information on a couple of questions. Some of what I needed was beyond their ability, but he advised. Mike also advised me on the reality of purchasing a product from them, the reason it would be so costly, and my advantage to make another choice. I trusted him to be in my home, to do his job, and I went back to work. As a single working woman, it doesn't get any better than this! I would highly recommend this company, hands down! read more

I have not enough words to thank Mike for the best service offered. We recently purchased a home that had 25 Hunter Douglas silhouettes and Duettes. When they were installed back in 1997 they were the highest quality at that time, but unfortunately the previous owners they never cleaned them in over 2 decades. I can not describes how dirty they looked. I searched a lot online to see how can they be cleaned and luckily I came across to Hang&Shine website. I left a message and next day Mike called me. He said that he can do the job onsite if I want to and they can make them like new. Of course I still called other places too, but after a lot of research I decided to go with Hang&Shine. It was such a great decision. After they cleaned and installed in a very short time all my blinds they look like new. I still can not believe that they are the same as the ones before. Also Mike is a very nice and friendly person, a pleasure to work with. Thank you Mike and John you guys are the best. read more

Hang & Shine came out to my place of employment last fall. They did such a great job I got Jon's business card and thought I would call them in the spring to come to my house to clean my blinds. I called the other day and Jon came out right away! He gave me a quote first and then he took my blinds down, brought them to his shop and cleaned them and came back the same day and hung them back up for me. They did such an incredible job, they look brand new again. My blinds are almost 21 years old and I've never had them cleaned. All the dirt and film is gone and they look nice and bright again. Not only did they do a good job cleaning them, Jon also killed a spider for me! :) Thank you Hang & Shine! For some reason it says I'm from San Fran, that isn't true, I'm from Addison read more

Mike of Hang & Shine just left our home after cleaning 20 faux wood blinds. It was so nice that they could provide their blind cleaning service at our home...no need to take the blinds to their place of business. Our experience with Mike and Jon from beginning to end was exceptional! They were responsive, timely, reasonable, friendly, efficient and the blinds (which had 12 years of use) look brand new! It is such a pleasure to find a company providing a service of this nature that obviously takes pride in their work, and works well with homeowners. We will certainly call on them in the future! Thanks again Mike for such a great job! J.D. and Sherida N. read more

Incredibly pleased and impressed with the product, service and installation from Hang and Shine! Our first experience was a Hunter Douglas blind cleaning by the co-owner Mike at our townhome in Schaumburg. My wife and I thought the service was exceptional and fairly priced so we kept Hang and Shine in mind when we needed window treatments for our new home. This time Mike's brother Jon delivered on new ideas, price and friendly service. Installation was fast and he left zero debris behind. I highly recommend Hang and Shine for all window treatment solutions. You won't regret using them. read more

My former husband's family was in the window treatment business and I was very spoiled with his knowledge of the products, simple repairs, and the pricing we had gotten when we were married so I was looking for a company that was able to offer something that I was accustomed to. HANG & SHINE IS A SUPERB COMPANY that provides excellent service, is extremely knowledgeable about their products, and provides affordable pricing [and was able to do some simple repairs onsite]! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for new window treatments or to have their existing one's cleaned!!!! read more

Great experience. I had Mike in for an estimate on roller shades. Based on our conversation before the appointment Mike came armed with a great variety of samples. I was thoroughly impressed with ease of setting up appointment and fast response with quote. Though I did not wind up purchasing for this project (Hunter Douglas was slightly out of our price range for a very utilitarian need), would not hesitate to recommend. Will be calling again when we do window treatments that will be seen. No high pressure sales tactics. Very impressed. read more

Jon at Hang & Shine was fantastic to work with for window treatments for our new build. Not only did he come out to our house three times before we finally decided, he did so with a professionalism, with information, samples, and a smile. We placed our order and Jon came out to install. I couldn't be happier!! Only recommendation- spend some time looking for ideas and pictures beforehand, it'll save you time and effort in the long run. read more

We have had multiple wonderful experiences with Hang & Shine. Most recently, our plastic brackets broke on our blinds and John willingly sent us new heavy duty metal brackets free of charge, no questions asked. They have repeatedly gone above and beyond what any company would normally do. They do amazing work and they stand behind it. Thank you for being a company that really cares. I highly recommend Hang & Shine!! read more

They do amazing work! My 9 year old blinds look good as new. My kitchen blind had grease and other water and food splatter on it, and now it looks perfect. I dropped off the blinds at 11 am and they were ready to be picked up at 2 pm. I had 10 blinds cleaned for $180, and they only charge $5 per foot! I highly recommend getting your blinds cleaned by Hang & Shine. I wish I had taken my blinds there sooner. read more

Hang and Shine cleaned 28 miniblinds for me, some 20 years old, some 40 years old, badly needed cleaning, and now they all look like brand new. They brought their truck with the ultrasonic cleaning equipment, took the blinds down and rehung them, all in about 2 hours. Don't bother with the DIY methods unless your blinds just have a tiny bit of dust, ultrasonic is the way to go. read more

I was about to replace one of my blinds when I called to see if the existing blind could be repaired. I live only a few miles from the Carol Stream shop, so I dropped it off and not only was it repaired for a great price, but it was cleaned as well and looks brand new. Thanks Jon! read more
