I did an online search for custom draperies. I was so impressed with the quick response from Nina. She came out to our home the following week. I showed her around my home and she zeroed in on my taste and style. Nina quickly pulled fabrics and then sketched her ideas for a large window and 2 small windows. When I asked questions about certain aspects of the design such as to the floor or mid length for curtains she was able to explain why she felt this was the way to go. It was the easiest choice to make. Today was my installation day. Wow - I am even more impressed. I feel my room looks totally pulled together with pillow shams and chair cushion; and compliments the look in my master bathroom. The color is perfect and they definitely have the wow factor. I started my project in April 2022, and it was all done and installed in 8 weeks. I started by setting appointments with a big on-line drapery design house and two local luxury custom drapery designers. To my surprise and at no charge, Emily, the President/Designer at Custom Drapery Workshop worked with us to formally kicked-off our project within the week, including an in-house consultation and a meeting at her workshop to review fabrics. I found that I needed more on-sight assistance than the on-line consultant could provide. The other local design house had a one month wait for in-house consultation and a per hour design fee. Because Emily was able to help so quickly, I cancelled with the other local designer. Emily was able to help us visualize each of our options and guide us in our final selections. I wanted the drapes to be functional, bring warmth and class to our room and still be functional for privacy, lighting and insulation. I originally wanted automation, but Emily helped me save money and design drapes and a cornice that I feel is a luxurious and timeless work of art.
