I was actually a little worried because he just threw his blinds and catalogs onto our counter. He seems very uninterested in anything we had questions about which we kept very minimal because the way he was responding to us. He called at 10:20 said he's about 45 mins away for our scheduled appt of 11:30 but didn't show up till 12. He quoted us 19k on just regular blinds and honeycombs lol not even automatic. We didn't care to take it further and just asked him to send an email because his responses and attitude towards us for no reason didn't want to do business with him. 3 day blinds should really look into this because they won't be getting our business. After this company charged me an excessive amount of money to have blinds installed in my living room and dining room, the results of their installation was a horrible, cheap looking product. Some of their fittings weren't even the correct size and we are still waiting for them to finish the installation. For example, our previous blinds had the angle brackets, installed above the blinds to where they were out of view and did not look as ugly as what 3 Day Blinds installed. It looks like the materials are very cheaply constructed, like using particleboard and fake wood laminate instead of real materials. I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Three Day Blinds, and I feel obligated to share it so others are aware. About two years ago, I decided to purchase blinds for my home from this company because their website advertised a fast three-day turnaround. Unfortunately, that promise was far from reality. They charged my credit card a few days before the installation. On the day of installation, the installer arrived, but one of the window shades was missing. When I asked about it, he told me I needed to contact the company directly. I tried calling customer service repeatedly for days, but no one answered. After finally reaching someone, I was passed from one representative to another. Eventually, I was told that the issue was the designer's mistake and that she would contact me. A few days later, the designer called and left me a voicemail saying that there had apparently been a mistake and that she could order a blind for the missing window -- but she wanted to charge me about $2000 for it, even though the issue was clearly caused by their error. No one ever properly followed up, and the situation remained unresolved. After many unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem, I requested that they pick up the blinds and refund my money. I was told they do not offer refunds under any circumstances, despite the incomplete installation and their mistake. After exhausting all options, I disputed the charge through my bank and credit card company. The investigation took several months, and since the company apparently failed to respond, the amount was eventually returned to my account. Now, a year and a half later, they have sent the alleged balance to a collection agency claiming that I owe this amount. I am currently working with a lawyer to resolve the situation. After complaining several times and giving a 1 STAR review that one of the roller shades does not properly clear the baseboard, 3 Day Blinds agreed to have someone come out and remeasure. Below my email to customer service and their reply. I requested a remeasure to find out why they are not fitting correctly and a remeasure was never done. Even if the sliding door has a squareness issue if measured correctly it should fit better than it does. Obviously the customer service person did not read my email thoroughly since I mentioned that the person that came out was not willing to remeasure so how would they know if there is a squareness problem. I am very disappointed and hugely regret my purchase. My email: Someone different came out from Rayline and was not willing to remeasure. He said he has done this job long enough and knows what the problem is. His solution was to put some scotch tape on the roller and tell me it was fine. It now barely clears the baseboard. If you look at the photo you can see that the left shade does not really overlap with the middle part of the sliding door. The original installer had to move the left shade all the way to the left to make the right shade fit. I would like to have the original installer come back and take some measurements and have the shades redone. For $1800 I think I can expect them to fit perfectly and not be fixed with some scotch tape on the roller. 3Day Blinds reply: Our installer was able to adjust the installation by shimming the right shade slightly downward, which allowed it to track further away from the baseboard and align more cleanly. We hope this adjustment has helped improve the overall look and function. As a reminder, per your contract, it is at the sole discretion of 3 Day Blinds whether a shade is remade or if an issue can be resolved with an installer's return visit. In this case, the gaps and alignment are within our installation specifications, so a remake is not being issued at this time. That said, I've reached out to the installer for confirmation on whether there may be any squareness issues with the window itself. If the window is not square, that can impact the fit and appearance of the treatment, and unfortunately, that's something beyond our control, as it relates to the window structure rather than the product or measurement. I would recommend the company provide large sample of shade colors for customers to hang in windows with suction cups. That way you can see if shade is too dark or light as the days passes, is cloudy, sunny etc. I wish I had had that option as shade color we chose is way too light. Very expensive lesson. read more

This I had heard great things about 3 Day Blinds and its customer service, which is why I chose your company for my window treatment needs. I was excited to move forward with my window treatments, believing I would receive the professionalism and superior client experience that your company values--Integrity, One Team, Superior Client Experience, Excellence, and Passion. On March 8, 2025, the Design Consultant came to my home and measured eleven windows across various rooms. The consultation was initially a great experience; we carefully selected the perfect treatments for each window while keeping within my budget (a maximum of $5,000) in mind. We even laid out every sample on my kitchen counter to ensure nothing was missed. the design consultant and I reviewed each window treatment one-by-one, and I trusted that everything was properly accounted for in the order that the design consultant reviewed. Installation took place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, the installer, demonstrated excellent professionalism and customer service. However, during installation, I discovered that the master bathroom's roller shade (VARA/Gray with a matching cornice) was missing. I immediately contacted the design consultant. via email and text message that same day at 1:31 PM. She responded that she needed to reach out to the company's Director of Operations. On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the design consultant emailed me stating that the master bathroom window treatment was never ordered and that "the company waived shipping and installation." There was no apology for this significant oversight, and her message made it seem as though she was doing me a favor, rather than acknowledging a clear mistake. Additionally, I never received an invoice for my purchase. I called the design consultant on the morning of April 29, 2025, to discuss my concerns. Unfortunately, she was not apologetic, did not take accountability, and kept stating she "wasn't customer care." I reminded her that as the face of the company during my purchase experience, she is indeed a vital part of customer service. I could hear in her voice that she was rushing to end the conversation and did not want to be bothered. Later that evening, at 5:45 PM, I called your customer care line and spoke with an agent named James. He listened attentively, tried to contact the design consultantfor additional information (without success), and assured me he would follow up once he heard back from her. We ordered a few sets of blinds for the kitchen about a year and a half ago. The windows have the pulley style, the sliding door has the hand release. Installed, things were fine until...one night the sliding door blind pulled up by itself when we were sitting in the next room. A ghost? An anomaly? A few days later it happened again, so we called customer service. No one provided difficulty about having a service provider assigned, and thankfully did not attempt to tell me I "mishandled" the blinds. I was given a claim number, and was told I would be contacted by the outsourced service provider. It took a week or two until I realized I needed to follow-up. I did, and the next day the service person and I arranged a meet-up. He arrived, and instead of replacing a part he agreed that the balance was off. He ordered a new blind, which is a bit delayed but that is fine. It is not an emergency but is a something that should not be happening. No charge for the service call not the replacement: the warranty is solid. The service provider was out within a few days. read more

I would not recommend 3 Day Blinds to anyone. The install of my blinds is terrible, and this has nothing to do with the guy who installed, but the were sent with the levers on the wrong side, so know we can't open our windows. Now that's not all. I didn't sign at install because I'm seriously unhappy with the issue. I've reached out and this issue has not been resolved (months later). They tried to put a bandaid on the issue and I told them it was not what I ordered and demanded that they remake the Roman shades. Several weeks later and still have not heard back. One of the blinds is already broken... does not move up or down. I really wish I would have stuck to my gut and used The Shade Store. For all other window treatments (and there are many we have a three story home). I honestly hope for the amount of money we paid this project gets resolved. read more

I scheduled an appointment over 1 week ago. Today, 40 minutes prior to appointment, designer calls and advises that consultation assigned to him, but he does not service my area. Manager cannot find another consultant to take appointment. Needless to say a total disregard for my time and schedule. I previously used 3 day blinds for a large project and was very happy with the service, but question how one can realize 40 minutes prior to appt they don't service. Very poor customer service. I have to say that I'm very pleased with my purchase. The sales guy got me. He knew exactly what I needed. Recommended the correct light filtering and sun block on the right windows. I have the motorized variety, which I love. the reason I have these is because I have second story windows in my great room. the problem is: 3 day blinds provides you with no mechanism for charging the blinds once they're installed. I A. have no ladder that high. B. I'm old and cannot climb that tall ladder even if I had one. Ordered window treatments for whole house in October. First choice of items were out of stock. Sales gal (Jessica) made us choose something else. Of course, that was out of stock. Finally made all our choices and then Jessica tried to upcharge us for rush installation and we declined. We were promised installation in early November. First batch of treatments were shipped without any warning, and were left outside in rain and we were gone all day. Thank goodness no one stole the items. Then no one contacted us and we called customer service only to be told rest of items were out of stock and delayed. We asked them to cancel remaining order and send installer to install what had been sent. Don't use this company. They are a terrible blind company. My sales lady was Linda Strauss. She doesn't listen talks fast brings out stuff you don't want. In order to get more money she pulled a fast one on us and put in an expensive fabric blind we didn't want in our son's room. We had just moved into our home and several people were here asking us questions with the move etc. When the blinds came damaged however they tried to pull a fast one on us installed them I started looking at installed blinds discovered the damage nicks and scratches all over blinds. I called next day and complained. Oh they said they would write up a work order and we only paid1/2 of the bill. Which I was fine with then. . We would pay balance at the time of repairs. Well no repairs and they took the remaining balance out of our account without a email or a phone call. So no we have no repaired blinds and nothing to hold them responsible. DO NOT USE! My wife and I ordered blinds/pull down shades from this company. The order went in in March 2024. We got the blinds installed on May 4th. Probably should call them 3 month blinds, not 3 day blinds. I could have lived with that, but after spending I'm not sure how many thousands of dollars for treatment in 3 little areas, they came on May 4th to install them. They are simple manual pull downs. One area = okay One area, which is a single window = crooked One area, our sliding doors to deck = installed wrong product. We told them we ordered the OVER pull down. They installed the UNDER pull down, which is obstructed. The man installed it and said to use it while they reorder the correct one. Then, they disappeared. We called three times. No one returned our calls. Finally, after several weeks (it's June 12th as I type this), we still cannot get in touch with anyone and they aren't returning our calls. Meeting with the salesperson went well. She helped us choose the blinds and took detailed measurements of the windows. Pricing came up much higher than expected, after a few back and forth we settled on the order. There was no hurry, but when it came time to schedule installation, I kept missing their calls, and when calling back the mailbox was either full or no one would actually respond to my voicemails proposing a timeline 3+ weeks in advance. Weeks went by, almost 10 call backs in total... I expressed my frustration with the salesperson via voice mail and text... she never replied. I have a feeling that once you sign the contract, the sales team is done with you. After that I called the 1800 number and spoke with a kind and understating representative who promised to reach out to the installer. Installation was not to my standard, with roller cornice extending almost 3" beyond the end of the rollers. I suggested to the installer to trim it down to avoid the dead space, but he said he would need a table saw... I have one, I replied. But then I decided not to add hours to his day and to take my time and do it right later with help from my neighbor. When it came time to take down the already installed cornice for trimming, I noticed the poor way it was installed. Wall mounts were not evenly spaced AND wobbly, and top of the cornice had sharp screws sticking out about 1" high where wing nuts were supposed to be used. I texted the installer requesting more wing nuts, which he promised to deliver next time his is in the area. Weeks went by, two more reminders, two more promises from the installer... nothing. I bought the needed wingnuts from my local hardware store. In summery I do not recommend this company. I paid a lot for the blinds and expected high quality product with great installation. I was very disappointed. Rollers work but make a terrible sound and jam when overextended. (it takes a few dozen tries to get the roll-up motion just right). The mechanism is made of hard plastic, which I don't like. I try to be gentle with them so that nothing breaks. The material blind are made of is of good quality. One last thing I want to add, I expressed these concerns in a 3-Day Blinds email survey. I received no reply and can't find my response on their website either... read more

Consultant took a 50% deposit but now doesn't return my calls since their installer who came to measure, the next day, confirmed he cannot install what the consultant advised and ordered. The company number given is disconnected and the business card number has no reply. Get a copy of the order, contract and number to contact and try it out before ordering! The worst is now after I cancelled the order the same day, since installer cannot install it, they not only still haven't refunded/reversed the card charged but also now I saw an additional $2500 charge?!?! Where do I start . We needed blinds for our new home in Elgin Illinois. We decided to give Three Day Blinds an order to provide blinds for our whole house. I have had these blinds installed in my home 10 months. Well first the motorized shade in front of my sliding door needed to be replaced. Then we go to the dining room motorized shade that needed to be replaced. Now we have the two shades in my husbands office that both of them needed to be replaced because they were starting to fray at the edges. They reordered them and sent us the wrong ones. They reordered them again and they only sent one. I called last week to find out when the last shade would be in and was told that they found the missing shade and would come and install it today. Now they just called to tell me that the one they found was the wrong on and are reordering it one more time. Really.... how can I give a good review.
