I'm sad. We came here a year ago and the food was phenomenal. Just left and had the opposite food experience. First, let me say the host staff is always friendly and helpful. That remained consistent. My husband ordered the Pedro skillet. The top of the cornbread was burnt black. The eggs were cold. Ironically the smoke detector went off three times while we were sitting outside. Another skillet being made? He ordered a side of sausage links. They were maple, and had he been told that would not have ordered them. My bacon was cold. My Garden of Eatin' honestly did not have much flavor at all, maybe because they forgot the feta? We are not complainers, and don't send food back. I bet my husband that the waitress wouldn't even notice that we barely touched our food. He now owes me $5.00, 1/10 of the bill. $50.00 PLUS tip and tax. For pretty much home fries, juice, and coffee. We walked in (a party of 4) and there was literally only two other people in the entire restaurant. I've been to North Conway previously, but never passed by this place because it's down a side street. My husband and I were not disappointed! We split the mimosa flight (cotton candy, spicy mango, and black raspberry), he got the Sinner, and I got the waffle charcuterie. Gotta say, it was probably the best waffle I've ever had. Lovely side road eatery with great food and attentive staff. I had breakfast here. The place restaurant is clean, and packed with customers. The menu is brief but has all the basics, and then some reimagined favorites. I had the eggs Benedict. Served in a mini cast iron skillet (cute touch). Coffee and fresh fruit as my side. Yummy. Friendly, funky cool atmosphere! The menu has all these cool interesting names. The mimosa selection nothing like I have ever seen before. I ended up with a Bloody Mary that was really tasty and price worthy. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast and it's a little sad because I thought that the funky cool names on the menu would hold up, but it didn't. I think the skillets ($15)should be bigger servings, they are the size of a dessert plate. The home fries had no flavor or crunch. The pancakes good but not worth $9. Amazing!!! Restaurant was modern and super stylish inside, food was delicious, and so many mimosas to choose from! I had a Black Raspberry Mimosa and a Kiwi Mimosa-both were great. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday! We stumbled upon this place after we were told there was a hr wait at another place. We were able to be seated right away and with perfect timing, because it got so busy afterwards. And this was all with good reason too! This place was super good! We went here back in October, a decent size group of 12 and it was great! Some of us had mimosa flights, some had hard seltzer flights and some had bloody Mary's. The choices of mixers for the flights were vast and delicious. I had a skillet breakfast that had corned beef, cheese, scrambled eggs, tater tots...it was huge and delicious. Everything reasonably priced. You should call ahead though because there is no waiting room if they are full, so try to plan ahead. read more

We (literally) stumbled across this cool little place on accident on our first morning celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. What a happy mistake this was! Reservations were necessary so we called when we got to the door to see if they had any room. They sat us at the bar, which we were ok with, as they were booked up until 12:30. The bartender/ waitress was delightful and cheery. Exactly what I needed on a rainy first morning in North Conway. I will forever rave about the "who am I to disabrie?"! We have been here twice and the first time was better I will say. It's a great place for brunch with some friends because they have an extraordinary list of mimosas and you can do flights which is cool. We have gotten the charcuterie waffle plate both times and the waffles are really delicious. The sides this time felt skimpy and they seemed to put ketchup on it this time maybe by accident intended for one of our plates instead but it gave my daughter a surprise when she dipped the waffle in what she assumed was like strawberry sauce or something and ate ketchup . The food other than that was ok but I feel like my omelette was a little burnt as well as my potatoes. The girls had pancakes and my husband had a skillet dish that he liked. The price for me is a little much for what you get but the ambiance is nice it's really cute in there and has a lot of outdoor seating as well. There wasn't much of a wait where another popular place nearby had like an hour wait so if there's no wait and you are more interested in drinking this would be a great spot. They didn't abide by the grace period we arrived well within 15 minutes and they sat someone else, the owner said you can leave you have kids you can get out and waved her hand at us!!! I said why do you speak to my children like that when I should have been already sat at my table. I feel completely disrespected in a service industry. We were visiting NH recently and having had a very poor breakfast and dining experience the past day ,really wanted to have some good breakfast before we hit the road back to MA. We came across this restaurant when walking the town and immediately booked a spot for the family for the next day. This place is not visible from the main road , one has to walk through the smaller streets and there's where we chanced upon this . The next day when we arrived we were promptly seated by the kind hostess . It was buzzing with people and filling up! We ordered some coffee, yogurt bowls with fruit and granola, eggs, juice, hash browns, English muffin. Simple fare . The hash browns were a hit at our table . We ordered one to go! It is a waffle shaped crispy delight and my son and husband just loved it . Eggs were fresh, light'n fluffy and the English muffin was thick and crunchy (toasted) I have never had such thick English muffins , they were good! The yogurt bowl(parfait) was delicious , coffee was OK. After the yummy fill as we were stepping out we saw a live band was getting set up at the outdoor seating area. The prices are a bit higher than trees a standard breakfast diner, but the taste and presentation of each of our meals was fantastic. Can we talked about the mimosa flights? They have a list of about 20 different fruity flavors, and you can choose 3 flavors for $12, delivered to you in 3-8 oz jars. Delicious! Would definitely come again! If this situation didn't happen, I'd almost give this place a 5 star....but this one thing grossed me out so bad. This past summer I went with my boyfriend here to try the breakfast. We ordered an Oreo Pancake to share. We both thought it was so delicious until I look up and see that my boyfriend bit into something strange. When he takes it out his mouth it's a FINGERNAIL. A FINGERNAIL. It was disgusting. Our waitress went to the back to confront the cook and the cook said it was a piece of plastic from some packaging of the food and I was like NO. I work nearby and decided to get some takeout for lunch, I got the "cluck Norris" which is a chicken sandwich fried or grilled with your choice of Buffalo or bbq sauce. I got it fried with Buffalo and ranch, it also came with lettuce tomato and onion. It was seriously the best Buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was perfect and bun was delicious like I can't say enough good things about it. Also the fries are delicious, they remind me of McDonald's fries but better. 27 North was a place that came recommended to us and looked highly rated online (yelp, google, Facebook, etc). I happened to be looking at their FB reviews and one of the first reviews I saw was one that didn't recommend the restaurant. I read through the review and was blown away at how horribly the guest had been treated not only in the restaurant but also how rude and snarky the response was to the customers review. Definitely not a good look! I commented on the review to express how their response alone lead us to choose a different establishment to dine at. My comment literally read: "Thankful we got to see the way this business handles customer complaints before we chose to dine! The response alone made us choose a different restaurant no response would've been a better response than this!" Not rude in the least. A couple hours later the establishment felt the need to let me know that they were glad we went somewhere else because clearly they weren't the place for us. At least we found common ground on that! I'm sure the food is great because it certainly looks it! But there are plenty of other equally rated places to eat that I'm sure appreciate their customers and are able to handle complaints tactfully and welcome their guests. read more

We placed our name on the waitlist online, showed up only to find out that our table was given away to someone else. When I asked why, the host said it was because we didn't show up within 15 minutes. I showed her the time on my phone from the time the restaurant texted me to show that it was 10 minutes. She then said oh okay I will give you a table then. We saw a party getting up so we asked if that was the table, she said no, she's giving that table away to someone else also. The owner then walked by and whipped around the corner and crashed into one of my children and said "they need to sit down." At that point we were fed up so told them never mind, we will go somewhere else. This is where the response was so shocking. The owner then said "be on you way, be on your way, you have kids so leave." This is such familial status discrimination and just a horrific comment especially coming from the owner of a restaurant. My boyfriend and I are both business owners and couldn't imagine treating any patron like this. Beware of not just a rude staff but a rude OWNER.
