    Avocado toast.

The view was the best thing this place had going for it, but you can't even dine on the patio to enjoy it. Service was bad but you can't blame Laura as we quickly noticed she was the only server taking care of several tables. Others in my group had the burger and chicken sandwich that looked fine, but my avocado toast was terrible. Brown avocados, poached eggs were basically hard boiled, no runny yolk. This place could be really cool.

Really a 1.5 because, the food was mid and the service was very bad because we got there and ordered and it took 1 hour for us to get our food when there was us and one other person. Then after that they told us they were in a shift change, so they basically lied to us. The ambiance was amazing with a great view of MT. Washington.

We stopped in for dinner and drinks after an afternoon on Mount Washington, and we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the outdoor deck was the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the mountains. We ate at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This is a great hidden gem.

Grilled chicken over garden salad. Came with one dressing, which was good-- vinegrette.

Lovely dinner at our hotel restaurant, The Notch Grille. It was busy but not overly crowded (they do recommend reservations). Had delicious appetizer special (fried burrata) and mushroom flatbread. Salad with sliced grilled chicken was solid. Solid fried calamari (was crispy). Creative cocktail menu but portions on the small side (for the price).

Who cares what the chicken Caesar salad looks like.. the view of the mountains is spectacular!!!

Man! This is a little hidden gem! We only ordered the chicken Caesar salads while sitting on the deck, but seriously... look at the view!! The bartender is a great guy. I appreciated their COVID19 safety measures! The hotel this place is in is just amazing!!

Loved it here when we stayed for a long weekend at the Glen House. We made reservations and ate there for 3 dinners. Kids menu is great too!

Food is okay, service subpar. Takes long to get served. Some staff could be more pleasant.

We were on vacation in NH this weekend and this place was an absolute must go. I got the half stack pancakes with plain chocolate chip, whole wheat blueberry, and their special which was oatmeal granola. All were absolutely amazing. My mom got the buttermilk blueberry and gingerbread walnut- these two are our absolute favorite combos. We also got a side of their homemade wheat toast and home fries. If you go, you must get their home fries because they are arguably the best item on the menu, besides pancakes of course lol. My dad got a ham and cheese omelette, with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs (he got 3), which comes with home fries and toast. I also tried their iced lattes for the first time ever and I'm disappointed I never got it before. I got an iced latte with salted caramel flavor and whip cream which was amazing. Their menu is full of variety and they are so many substitutions and add ons you can make. Different combos of pancake batter and toppings, cheese and onions on home fries, different flavors of toast, etc. All the employees are so friendly too. Every time we've eaten here, the waiter/waitress is always so kind and friendly and attentive. Our waitress today, Lisa, was especially awesome. The food comes out in a decent amount of time too. Beware that they get VERY VERY busy once camping season starts, around Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer. You could be looking at a wait time of at least 2 hours on a weekend in the summer if you get there after 8 or 9am. They don't take calls for a waitlist, you have to be there to put your name on a list to wait. Since we went early May, we had no wait whatsoever. Please give this place your business, they deserve it and will not disappoint!!!

TLDR: solid breakfast/lunch spot…read more Cute little spot along the Main Street of town. They have all your breakfast staples. I'd highlight the cinnamon rolls as a big draw. Not too sweet and just right. My wife made a comment when we ate here, that when you watch diners on TV like on Gilmore Girls, there's always someone who's walking around with a pot of coffee and when you come in and sit immediately ask you if you want coffee. She's never really experienced that in real life, and granted I haven't either, anyway this place is like that.

Instead of being given time to enjoy our food and drinks, there was a constant sense that the staff wanted to turn the table over as quickly as possible. Drink refills were nonexistent, despite empty glasses sitting on the table for extended periods. The food itself was less than subpar, and the presentation was extremely poor. Dishes looked carelessly thrown together, lacked attention to detail, and certainly did not match the quality or appearance one would expect when dining out. When food arrives looking unappetizing before you even take the first bite, it sets the tone for the entire experience. What was even more concerning was overhearing staff members speaking negatively about customers. Hospitality should include respect, regardless of whether a customer leaves a tip. At the end of the meal, when a tip was not added on the payment machine, the server became visibly upset and went to complain to another employee or parent nearby, who responded, "That's fucked up." The server then replied, "Maybe they'll leave cash," only to be disappointed when no additional tip was left. The attitude, entitlement, and lack of professionalism were shocking. Tipping is appreciated, but it is not required. A tip should reflect the quality of service provided, and in this case, the service simply did not warrant one. Between being rushed, the lack of drink refills, poor food quality and presentation, inappropriate comments about customers, and the obvious frustration over not receiving a tip, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Good service earns gratuity--expecting it regardless of the customer experience does not. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
