TLDR: solid breakfast/lunch spot Cute little spot along the Main Street of town. They have all your breakfast staples. I'd highlight the cinnamon rolls as a big draw. Not too sweet and just right. My wife made a comment when we ate here, that when you watch diners on TV like on Gilmore Girls, there's always someone who's walking around with a pot of coffee and when you come in and sit immediately ask you if you want coffee. She's never really experienced that in real life, and granted I haven't either, anyway this place is like that. read more

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The customer service was some of the worst I have experienced. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed through our meal. Instead of being given time to enjoy our food and drinks, there was a constant sense that the staff wanted to turn the table over as quickly as possible. Drink refills were nonexistent, despite empty glasses sitting on the table for extended periods. The food itself was less than subpar, and the presentation was extremely poor. Dishes looked carelessly thrown together, lacked attention to detail, and certainly did not match the quality or appearance one would expect when dining out. When food arrives looking unappetizing before you even take the first bite, it sets the tone for the entire experience. What was even more concerning was overhearing staff members speaking negatively about customers. Hospitality should include respect, regardless of whether a customer leaves a tip. At the end of the meal, when a tip was not added on the payment machine, the server became visibly upset and went to complain to another employee or parent nearby, who responded, "That's fucked up." The server then replied, "Maybe they'll leave cash," only to be disappointed when no additional tip was left. The attitude, entitlement, and lack of professionalism were shocking. Tipping is appreciated, but it is not required. A tip should reflect the quality of service provided, and in this case, the service simply did not warrant one. Between being rushed, the lack of drink refills, poor food quality and presentation, inappropriate comments about customers, and the obvious frustration over not receiving a tip, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Good service earns gratuity--expecting it regardless of the customer experience does not. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. read more

Huge breakfast! Yes! Came here for a delicious breakfast after a few days of camping and it was great! We had a party of five and we were seated quickly. They had daily specials and one of them was a homemade cinnamon roll which we ordered. It was very large and very good! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the dough was nice and chewy. I decided on the Moms omelette with a side of house fries and toast and everyone else ordered pancakes, crab cakes and, eggs Benedict. When the food came out it was insanely huge!! Portions are insane and everything looked super yummy. My omelette was jam packed with sausage, avocado, potatos, it had the works! The pancakes were very fluffy and yummy and the crab cakes tasted great. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we were super stuffed but very satisfied. I had several servings of their yummy coffee and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The place is very cute and perfect for big and small groups. We went here for brunch. There was a short 20 min wait but we were let in after that. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. She gave great recommendations for each of us. The decor is white mountain and ski posters which gave it a local feel. I had the short rib hunters hash with over easy eggs and cheese. It was delicious. I also had a Belgian waffle to go with it. Another standout was the avocado toast with chili crunch. All of us loved each of our dishes, although he prepared to have a big appetite as they are all huge! Under new ownership and still just as amazing as before. We've been visiting Jackson for more than a decade and Yesterdays is one of our favorites. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We've never had to wait despite how consistently busy they are. There's a cute bar and several tables to eat at. With new ownership, we've seen some elevated menu items. My measuring stick of a good brunch stop is hollandaise and clever Benedict options - Yesterdays is exceptional! Lemony, flavorful hollandaise on a very decadent Benedict with corn cake base instead of English muffin for this particular take. Fabulous! The crab cake was clearly high quality and just the right amount of crisp. I'll never forget it! The blueberry pancakes with my husband's country breakfast platter were fluffy, voluptuous and served with real maple in true New England fashion. Homemade fluff on our grandma's hot cocoa was a unique offering as well! Caring, attentive staff made sure our glasses were full and bellies satisfied - they really make you feel right at home. This is the definition of New Hampshire hospitality. The staff are so friendly and welcoming unlike the other breakfast place we tried to go to earlier today and ended up walking out. All the food, every bite of every dish was absolutely delicious. The cinnamon roll was huge and mouthwatering, we cut it up and shared it amongst a table of 7. Absolutely get the lemon curd when you come. Everyone put some on whatever they had on their plates and couldn't get enough, it's like liquid lemon meringue pie. The place is definitely diner small and the tables are all crowded in which makes it very hard to leave if you aren't at table closer to the door. Place seems to be way overpriced for what you get. Our waitress was very friendly and she did keep our food moving even though they were very short staffed. We started with the homemade cinnamon rolls that the waitress recommended - it was really good but we were put off to see her pop it in the microwave before giving it to us. All my troubles (mostly the hunger troubles) seem so far away, after Yesterdays. This restaurant used to be a mainstay during my vacations up north and has a special place in my heart. After swimming, tennis, or some other physical activity in the morning, I'd come here for either an omelet, Countryman's Special, or Hunter's Hash. This time around, I went for the Hunter's Hash. The corned beef hash at this place is very much not like the stuff you'd get in a can. The meat in a can has that ground meat texture that might be appealing for some. Here, the corned beef has a brisket texture and has a good flavor to it. The eggs are cooked nicely and to order. The pancakes, and portions of everything else for that matter, are rather large and you're stuffed afterward. Service is generally warm and prompt. read more
