To be frank the only thing saving this place from a 1-star is the fact the food was decent. I will…read moreat least give credit the bagel and ham croissant were good. I would be giving this a 1-star if it was purely based on the staff interaction alone. Tell me why the tween at the register closest to the entrance when we ordered a little after 10AM today is smiles for miles with me, but when my wife asks if they have lattes or flavored coffee, this girl gets short with her? Also we really need to drop calling women "ma'am." I have not met a woman that likes that. So when this tween says "no ma'am we don't" in an annoyed tone with her how do you think she took that? My wife is 26 for context- so why some girl that is probably only a few years younger thinks that is appropriate is beyond me- it even made her cry after the interaction. In all my years of customer service I have only called women "miss." So anyways- this girl was rude and she should learn that you have to treat all parties equally- man or woman, and let them ask questions without being rude. You are a cashier- that is part of the job. If the business cares to track this, I have attached a photo of the receipt for you so that you may tell this girl that sort of behavior, no matter how large or small the interaction, really put a damper on someone's day. Think before you speak.

My wife ordered a bean burger(yeah not my choice for a real burger) and I ordered the BBQ burger as it also came with bacon. Bacon makes everything better!.... well not this time. Since we were the only ones ordering we thought great it will be right out. Wrong after 25 min we heard our name being called as the loud music outside subsided enough to hear them. The bean burger was really good. My burger tasted alright. I found the actual meat burger was crispy on the outside, very thin and very dry. If you eat it with everything else the burger was alright. But then any restaurant in the area that I could order a burger would have been moist and could get the same type of condiments to go with it. The fries were apparently cooked and ready when we ordered as they were cold. Very good but cold. The best part though were the pickles. I would ask for more of those to help with the dry burger. Instead of smashing the burger and then cooking it, they cooked and then smashed which the jouces ran out and helped with the over cooking that made it dry. 3 stars for the bean burger and pickles. Almost forgot the food truck outside that they own for fried chicken and had people waiting, did not open to serve them. Also workers parked their vehicles out front so customers cannot. Maybe they are hiding the dry burgers Staff just stared and no help. They tried to look busy but never did actually do anything which made us think food would be out quicker. I guess another year or so to see if they improve. See my first review which was excellent.

I'm a local and know a good cup of coffee when I taste one. Cafe Italia makes the best coffee in the area. The Italian breakfast items are also worth trying. We tried the Italian cream donut and almond croissant one day and was so impressed we went back again the next day. On the second visit we tried the chocolate croissant and muffin. We were not disappointed, both coffee and pastry was well with the second trip. Great food and great service. This establishment is a must try. We are looking forward to trying her lunch menu. read more

What an adorable cafe!…read more We stopped in before we headed home to have coffee and breakfast. We arrived at a quiet point in the morning rush, but they do get very busy! Service is friendly and fast though even when they're packed. I had a turmeric maple latte which was unique and delicious. Along with that I had the Mountain Mama sandwich which had an egg, hummus, goat cheese, and vegetables on a super soft English muffin. It was delicious! My husband had a hummus bagel with cucumbers and tomato and it was a great light start to the day. We also tried a ham and cheese croissant which was good. It was the softer bread style croissant and had chopped rosemary ham and cheese which was delicious, I only wished there was more of it! I brought a maple molasses cookie and a butterscotch cookie home. They were both so delicious and chewy! My only criticism is I wish there was a touch more salt, but I'm nitpicking. Highly recommend stopping in for a light breakfast or lunch, and taking some baked goods for the trail!

Then comes out with food. No coffee. No home fries. We wait for her to come back ask for them both she goes snd gets them. If it's part of meal why wouldn't be on plate but I didn't want to argue with her about her menu. The table next to us had coffee with fresh cream our late coffee we were only offered the mini plastic cups repackaged ones. Ok still trucking. Home fries come out super bright orange looking super seasoned and literally only tasted like gardening soil. Dirty potatoes cut and mashed up with paprika and put in a cup. Literal DIRT taste. Ok now I need to wash this down I had to ask her for a refill on my toddler water. She brings me another cup out this time no ice. I don't know if I've ever gotten a drink at a restaurant given with no ice after coming out with it or not requested. I don't know if she was distracted or checked out but again I don't say anything. Then the check comes. The bill is written on paper old school style so can't understand anything and it is about $10 more than should have been. Why did she charge us for the two home fries that she said were included!?!? I don't want bad energy or ruin day going back and forth with this lady just swipe my card and get away from this place. Why is there then an added upcharge for paying with card that was never listed or told prior to swiping!?!? I don't know why this place always has a line or is so busy. I wish I got her name but of course she never gave it! What an embarrassing experience. I've never not wanted to leave a tip before ever but I wanted to today (and I didn't). Original review from 2023: I went here due to the constant long lines and the rave reviews but was honestly disappointed. It is basic breakfast food.
