Hamwhich
Megan G.

The lattes, the sweets, the breakfast foods, all so delicious! The Hamwich was amazing, highly suggest trying that. The maple bacon latte was great too - they even have drink flavorings like blood orange and ube for something different. The shop is super cute and has seating inside and out. And the people were so friendly. Definitely check this place out if you're anywhere nearby.

Banana foster birthday cake

Cute little hidden bakery right off route 16. I was ordering a birthday cake for my husbands surprise weekend getaway and the folks on the phone couldn't have been any nicer helping me choose what to get him. We ended up picking up the cake and having a slice right in the bakery - they brought over plates, a cutting knife and a lighter for the candles I bought, which was so thoughtful. The banana foster cake itself had excellent flavor - chunks of banana throughout. The frosting is a bit tough right out of the fridge, but if you let it sit out and come to room temp, it's great! The cake we ordered (which was the smallest offered) was $35, which is a bit pricy compared to other bakeries, but I love giving back to local businesses that deserve it and this place does - it will be on my list for when I return to try their soups and sandwiches!

Autumn Nomad Cakes and Cafe offers a delightful experience with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The standout item, undoubtedly, is the maple bacon latte. This unique beverage seamlessly blends the rich warmth of maple with the savory kick of bacon, creating a flavor profile that's both comforting and adventurous. The cafe's commitment to creativity extends beyond the beverages, as they present a menu filled with fun and enticing options. From delectable cakes to savory treats, Autumn Nomad is a haven for those seeking a culinary adventure in the cozy embrace of fall flavors. Service was top notch and friendly. Interior was fun and inviting.

Cortado coffee

Super cute and very tasty place for breakfast and lunch! The decor is outstanding, and every seating place looked very cozy. We got the bacon egg croissant and the spicy ham sandwich and both were delicious, and came out very quickly. They also sell cakes and apparently have cake tastings!

Incredible breakfast, cold brew and such a cute atmosphere! This is a favorite of ours when we come up north.

Tasty coffee drinks, and delicious lunch sandwiches with lots of vegetarian options. It's a very welcoming space! There are games sitting out available to play while you sit, and a small selection of locally made goods.

Iced Mocha Latte

I stumbled upon this coffee shop and bakery three years ago when waiting for a brunch reservation a short walk down the road. This has been one of my favorite finds in NH thus far! Not only is the cafe such a cool vibe, but the staff have always been incredibly kind and welcoming. Ultimately, the baked goods and coffee are what keeps us coming back for more and planning a visit into our weekend itinerary. We've had the iced mocha, hot mocha, cinnamon bun latte, GF peanut butter cookie, muffins, cupcakes and more! ALL DELICIOUS! Be sure to check out this small business next time you visit the White Mountains!

Great breakfast items that I give high marks for their freshness. The baked items we also ordered tasted fresh like homemade.

Plus chairs, stools, tables, leather chairs (in which I sit), views of mountains and perhaps a throne or two. But, it must be said, that iced coffee was a FREE REFILL (which they do for hot and iced coffees) for a different drink, and that different drink was a chocolate-hazelnut iced coffee, which was not what I expected, i.e. a 5 calorie iced coffee, but instead a syrupy, heavily flavored dessert drink with which I broke my fast far harder than I had meant to. Had I known this drink was not seasoned beans turnt to a delectable cup, I might have passed on it, and had I not felt the desire to rejoin my company, I would have asked for the heaviest of heavy creams to make it a straight milk shake, but I drank it as was and enjoyed it every sip. The flavor was good to great, the texture more than I wanted but curious as a Campbell I couldn't just get the nitro-brew I craved because there was a hazelnut-coffee concoction I had never had heard of let alone tried and probably, along with the refill has more get up and go than the nitro solo. But I been here for hours now and don't feel like leaving yet, and that the baristae refilled my cup with coffee whilst allowing me to avoid the line (which isn't cutting. Justification: The line is only for people who still need to pay) really bumps that service up to magnificent. I love it here so much that I am almost remiss to go back to all four generations of my family who have gathered locally.

It's been open for 15 years and they have another location in the Settler's Green. They also have one in Maine. They have breakfast and lunch food. Tables can be found inside and outside. We were on vacation in NH this weekend and this place was an absolute must go. I got the half stack pancakes with plain chocolate chip, whole wheat blueberry, and their special which was oatmeal granola. All were absolutely amazing. My mom got the buttermilk blueberry and gingerbread walnut- these two are our absolute favorite combos. We also got a side of their homemade wheat toast and home fries. If you go, you must get their home fries because they are arguably the best item on the menu, besides pancakes of course lol. My dad got a ham and cheese omelette, with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs (he got 3), which comes with home fries and toast. I also tried their iced lattes for the first time ever and I'm disappointed I never got it before. I got an iced latte with salted caramel flavor and whip cream which was amazing. Their menu is full of variety and they are so many substitutions and add ons you can make. Different combos of pancake batter and toppings, cheese and onions on home fries, different flavors of toast, etc. All the employees are so friendly too. Every time we've eaten here, the waiter/waitress is always so kind and friendly and attentive. Our waitress today, Lisa, was especially awesome. The food comes out in a decent amount of time too. Beware that they get VERY VERY busy once camping season starts, around Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer. You could be looking at a wait time of at least 2 hours on a weekend in the summer if you get there after 8 or 9am. They don't take calls for a waitlist, you have to be there to put your name on a list to wait. Since we went early May, we had no wait whatsoever. Please give this place your business, they deserve it and will not disappoint!!!
