Bacon and eggs set right nice with home fries ready to bite.

Food was great! Company too. Service refined to a charm of the grand view. Breakfast and dinner all beyond what other seem to do, to be the best of the best, that Jackson has for you! Feast your eyes on the meals as we do, for the drinks had us jolly before we knew. Not much leftover for we consumed all the stew, and then some , way beyond this review.

If you find yourself in Jackson, you gotta stop by this place. We had both brunch & dinner on the veranda, that made for a great meal with a view. Brunch: in general, all menu items were solid. Nothing extraordinary but still tasty and filling Dinner: The St. Louis bbq rips were cooked to a T. The meat slipped right off the bone as it should. The scallops were soft and melted with every chew. The salmon succeeded in juiciness and crispness, plus went tastefully with the micro greens. Finally, the filet mignon was cooked accurately to my requested preference and the seasoned green beans enhanced the flavor profile. Dessert: we got the creme brûlée but the real winner is the Maine blueberry cake that was served warm with their creamy maple ice cream. All in all, the friendly service, well-cooked meal, & beautiful landscape made for a pleasant night all for a reasonable price. Definitely give Highlands a try for a taste of vacation relaxation!

Excellent salmon and brussel sprouts. Got to sit out on the veranda and enjoy the views of the mountains. Great service. Would return again!

Yuck. This place has been here since god was a child but…read morethey never seem to be able to get it right. How do you undercook cook ravioli? The pasta came out to me paper thin and still rock hard. The server was completely out to lunch and by the time he came back to check on us, my entire party had either finished their meals or shoved the plates away in disgust. We went on a night that was "buy one, get one" so we weren't going to pay for one of the meals anyways, so when the dimwitted manager came over and proudly announced that she was taking care of my meal - YEAH, I KNOW! THAT WAS THE ADVERTISED SPECIAL - I just didn't get to eat it! I don't know what the inn rooms look like. I hope they're great, but skip the restaurant. YUCK!

We had roasted corn chowder, grilled peach burrata, calamari, crab cakes and chicken Alfredo. It was all delicious. We couldn't finish eating cause we were so full. For drinks I got an oatmeal cookie drink. Out of this world! I could not get enough of this place. The atmosphere is very nice and it's so beautiful inside. Very Christmasy. We will definitely be coming back. And I will definitely tell people that they need to eat here. Next time I will stay at the inn overnight.

TLDR: solid breakfast/lunch spot…read more Cute little spot along the Main Street of town. They have all your breakfast staples. I'd highlight the cinnamon rolls as a big draw. Not too sweet and just right. My wife made a comment when we ate here, that when you watch diners on TV like on Gilmore Girls, there's always someone who's walking around with a pot of coffee and when you come in and sit immediately ask you if you want coffee. She's never really experienced that in real life, and granted I haven't either, anyway this place is like that.

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The customer service was some of the worst…read moreI have experienced. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed through our meal. Instead of being given time to enjoy our food and drinks, there was a constant sense that the staff wanted to turn the table over as quickly as possible. Drink refills were nonexistent, despite empty glasses sitting on the table for extended periods. The food itself was less than subpar, and the presentation was extremely poor. Dishes looked carelessly thrown together, lacked attention to detail, and certainly did not match the quality or appearance one would expect when dining out. When food arrives looking unappetizing before you even take the first bite, it sets the tone for the entire experience. What was even more concerning was overhearing staff members speaking negatively about customers. Hospitality should include respect, regardless of whether a customer leaves a tip. At the end of the meal, when a tip was not added on the payment machine, the server became visibly upset and went to complain to another employee or parent nearby, who responded, "That's fucked up." The server then replied, "Maybe they'll leave cash," only to be disappointed when no additional tip was left. The attitude, entitlement, and lack of professionalism were shocking. Tipping is appreciated, but it is not required. A tip should reflect the quality of service provided, and in this case, the service simply did not warrant one. Between being rushed, the lack of drink refills, poor food quality and presentation, inappropriate comments about customers, and the obvious frustration over not receiving a tip, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Good service earns gratuity--expecting it regardless of the customer experience does not. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
