Delicious food, loved the Caesar salad, crab cake was delicious! Drinks were fun and festive (this was Christmas time) piano was great. Enjoyed listening to the piano while eating.

My family are annual visitors to the White Mountain Hotel. Throughout the years, Ledges has been a convenient and satisfying place to have dinner after a long day of activities or a long day of driving that does not warrant another 10-mile drive to another restaurant that may or may not be good. However, this year we were more apt to take that 10-mile drive. Perhaps it is due to the lack of budget from recent renovation, perhaps it is due to the new chef - but there are several cuts to service and food that are alarming. While, of course, inflation is a factor and no restaurant's portions are the same as they were even 2 years ago, the inconsistency in this area is just simply inexcusable. I will exemplify this with a salad issue. While this may seem picky, it is a good example of the confusion this restaurant has been springing upon customers. One day I ordered a Ledges salad with chicken. It could barely be split among two people (and, to be fair, the waitress warned us about this). The next day, the same salad, ordered without chicken, was plenty for two. If I am paying for the salad, and an (absurdly expensive) surcharge for chicken upon it, why would you remove the salad part I am already paying for as a base? This is not to mention the discrepancies in service, which is most obvious at breakfast time. Weirdly, the later you make a reservation, the worse the service gets. When taking account of the time, the wait for food ranged from 10 to 45 minutes. And, especially with the later services, critical parts of the dish would be missing, like bacon. While I did have a few good meals here (see photos), I ended up finding many better restaurants on this trip that made me reconsider whether or not Ledges will be my 'default' choice while staying at White Mountain Hotel in the future. I am only writing this review because I love this place, and I want the management to understand and correct these new issues before it gets out of hand.

We went here on Halloween night a.k.a. our wedding night! It was very nice on the outside, as well as the inside. We were greeted by a friendly host who took us to our table. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was awesome all-around she was super friendly, spunky and attentive. For starters, we ordered the garlic cheese curds, they were amazing. They were pretty much bite-size, mozzarella sticks. I would definitely get these again. The salmon I ordered was cooked perfectly. There was even a crunch to it. The mashed potatoes were a great pair with it.The asparagus was super thin. My only suggestion would be to serve hearty asparagus, the dish is expensive I want to feel like I got my moneys worth ! Luckily the yummy flavors AND the pumpkin martini made up for it ! Thanks for a wonderful experience on our wedding night!

We stayed at the white mountain inn for a few nights as part of a group. Dinner the first night was in the ledges. I wish we had dinner there both nights... We both had the prime rib . Cooked perfectly. Tender and barely any fat. The au jus was perfect. Whipped potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus. The salads were beautiful. Bread was fresh and delicious- obviously house made. And getting to house made- their pastry chef deserves a gold star. We don't often indulge in deserts at restaurants as they usually disappoint or is something revitalized out of a frozen box. Not here. I had the lemon desert (frozen lemon mousse)- mom had the strawberry shortcake. Life changing. After a fabulous meal this truly was the cherry of the proverbial cake.

Spent two nights at the White Mountain resort and enjoyed a fabulous complimentary breakfast each morning with freshly made breads, coffee, juice & any entree off the menu. Also had dinner twice. Would return!

Visted on a Saturday night. Reservation was a nice benefit. The special was prime rib. It was cooked to perfection however it had little to zero fat. It was amazingly tender. The asparagus was cooked Al dente. The steak tips were excellent as well. The salmon was delicious l. Meal hot and great service. Window seat is the best. Same guy plays the piano. Prices are very good. What more could I ask for!

We Love it here. We stay at the hotel here which includes a complimentary breakfast which is a hot, sit-down white table cloth breakfast. We ain't talking cold cereal and hard boiled eggs here. None of that continental crap! You get a menu and can choose from the omelette of the day to a breakfast sandwich to waffles or pancakes or French toast. Always served with fresh coffee, juice and freshly baked little muffins. On Sundays it's the brunch buffet and it's off the hook! Friendly, beautiful view no matter the season or weather.

Beyond wonderful staff who will do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers. It was past time of closing and we called down to this restaurant to see if we could order dessert. Luckily the wonderful staff said he could make this work and he took our orders easily. The brownie sundaes were FANTASTIC and everything we could've wished for and more. We LOVE this restaurant!!

We picked right! Great atmosphere. Really felt like we were in a restaurant at a ski resort in Europe. Both got burgers and they were so good. Fresh and hot, so needed with all the cold outside. Service was quick and the waitress was kind and talked us through the local drinks we both ordered. 10/10 would 100% revisit if we visit the area again.

We meandered in to this rustic establishment and were completely surprised that there was so much seating ... doesn't look like much from the outside but it can accommodate a good amount of people which is why we did not wait. We sat down and felt like we were in a family lodge to warm up to for some good grub so, the vibe was fantastic. Our server was attentive and super friendly and it seemed a lot like the staff and people working were family and really cared how your experience was. The food on the other hand was a little lack luster in freshness and good quality as we got some appetizers and main courses that we could have really gotten at any restaurant so nothing that really set them apart ... this could be a gold mine if the menu was top notch. If you are looking for some pub grub and aren't looking for top shelf stuff, then this place is for you. Very clean including the bathrooms and they were rotating people in and out of the tables like a warehouse.

I want to start off by saying if someone comes into your establishment 1. Don't assume they are door dashing 2. Treat them like the client before or after them. Once seated it took over 5 mins and two walks past from the server before she even acknowledged me. She comes over ask for my drink order and at no point asks me did I want an appetizer. Also I tried being polite and make conversation by asking which of the bourbons cocktail would she recommend. She immediately gets an attitude and goes well they're all good. I'm like ok. The drink comes and I have to go can I order a couple appetizers. I order them and she never comes and ask me did I want to order an entree. The poutine fries were so soggy and fries weren't even fully cooked. The duck was highly chewy. After 22 mins with my appetizer she finally comes back. I ask why time do you close she goes kitchen closes at 8. It's currently 746, I then ok can I order my entree. I order the grilled Caesar and brink chicken. Not sure why they didn't bring out both at the same time because they immediately brought the salad out and took another 15 for the burnt chicken. The chicken was the most disrespectful thing ever. In what world would you think it's ok to serve that. Then go oh they like to get a crust. Ma'am that was burnt. Then not to even get offered anything instead. I just asked for my bill and left. I honestly felt because I was the only person of color they treated me like I wasn't important at all. I felt disrespected, and like they didn't want me there at all.
