    Bolognese- pork, veal and meat

For some unknown reason, a lot of restaurants are closed Monday through Wednesday in North country. That ment we returned with friends to eat here (food and drinks are always good though). On the eve of the July 4 weekend, we returned. I had the butter chicken special with rice and pita. It was authentic and tasty. Everyone else had the fried scallops which they said were good. Makayla took good care of us and put up with our drink and food requests. Good food, good service, nice ambiance- good beginning to the holiday weekend. 4.5 stars

Food was outstanding ! Finally tried the pickled red onion rings , wowza 12/10. Massive portion. Steak tips were great. Beer was cold. Not much more to ask for. Service was very friendly and attentive but not over kill. The location has a beautiful view of the water and covered bridge. The inside is rustic modern , clean and professional through out . The patios dog friendly!

    French fries

The French fries were great. The chowder was just so so (perhaps partially because they didn't give me a spoon and by the time I got someone's attention at the bar to get me one it was kind of cold). The salad was not terrible but the croutons were really not great. The fried chicken sandwich looked good. I was definitely expecting higher end food but it was mostly just a bar. It was getting very busy as we left from our very early dinner so it must be popular. There were lots of tables and a nice outdoor area with a fire. They had heat lamps but they didn't look to be on. Could eat here again if I were in the area, but I wont be rushing back.

    Fish & Chips

This place was a welcome sight off the highway- My seafood bake was delicious, I cleaned my plate. My wife wasn't a fan of the fish and chips, but she's picky. We didn't get a picture of the Cowboy Chips, because we devoured them when they arrived at our table. That was real good. The staff was great and was accommodating. They were having music in the bar when we arrived and folks were having a blast. All and all it was a good experience. If we're ever in this part of the country, we will definitely be back.

    Pretzel twists with beer cheese
    Brianna F.

We were passing through New Hampshire on our way from Boston to Vermont and stopped at the Covered Bridge Farm Table for lunch. The weather was little brisk but still decided to sit outside for some fresh air and the calming view of the covered bridge. We got the pretzel twists to share. Whenever I see pretzel and beer cheese on the menu, it's a guilty pleasure that I usually can't resist ordering. I just love a soft pretzel. However, in my experience, it's not always memorable and usually disappointing. With that being said, the pretzel twists with beer cheese here were 10 out of 10. Everything about them was done right. They came to the table warm, glazed with butter and sprinkled with the right amount of pretzel salt. They had a toasted exterior with a fluffy, tender center. The beer cheese was the right consistency and paired perfectly with the pretzels twists. We thoroughly enjoyed this in case you couldn't tell. My husband had the chowder and he seemed to like it. I didn't taste it so I can't really speak on that. I got the burrata salad and it was superb. It was pricey for a salad, but when you see how it's presented and how it tastes, the price justifies what you are getting. The amount of burrata you get on the plate is more than I have ever seen ordering any burrata dish. It comes with heirloom tomatoes (a variety of large slices and smaller cherry tomatoes), mixed greens, pesto, olive oil and cracked pepper. This is definitely a sharable salad. The portion is generous. Although this is an obvious classic combination for a salad, the quality of the ingredients was what made it outstanding. Our server Rob was very nice, personable, and attentive. He even humored us as we were trying to get an idea if the pretzel twists would be classified as a soft pretzel prior to ordering. If you can only pick one spot to stop for lunch while passing through New Hampshire, this is it.

Absolutely outstanding experience! We had Alex as our server and he was utterly delightful! The pork belly pops were to die for - absolutely scrumptious! The Cambodian Loc Lak was fantastic & so fresh! The cheesecake is a piece of heaven!

Arrived too early to check into our accommodations for the night so stopped here for lunch. The covered bridge in this establishments name is right next to it with a state marker giving you the history of the bridge. After taking some pictures we found a parking spot right in front, good sized lot as it is also a function facility. We were greeted promptly upon entering and given a choice of main dining or bar seats, we chose the bar. Lots a space for two. After a minute we were greeted by one of the bartenders giving us utensils and menus to look at. We ordered our drinks and looked over the menus given. They have an extensive specialty drink menu, a food menu, and a specials menu, so many options for many tastes. We ordered beers, the soup special Pea soup, and the Pork butt lollipops. They have a raw bar in the bar so you can see the oysters and other shellfish offered. It is fully encased for patrons safety. The soup came out within 10 minutes and the lollipops another 10 minutes so good timing. We finished our food and drinks and off we went the check in. Well our experience did not end there because the people we were meeting wanted to meet here! We had time so took a drive across the bridge and a little ways after. Got back a half an hour before our family and friends so we sat at the bar to wait for them. I order a mixed drink this time and it was well done, not too weak and not too strong, perfect. Our friends arrived and we were able to transfer to a table with them with no issues. For dinner my husband had the steak tips and I ordered the seafood mix. So much food! My husband finished his no problem where I had to struggle to finish. Very good. The rest of the group ordered sandwiches which they have had before and is a family favorite, a chicken Cesar salad and a large bowl of the pea soup. The soup was just amazing and highly recommend, thick and hearty but not so thick your spoon stands up. We will be back to the area at some point and will return. Checked off all the right boxes for us. Great job!

    Blair Covered Bridge

While staying at an Airbnb nearby for a wedding, we chose this restaurant for dinner because of the good reviews. It's a nice location on the river next to the Blair covered bridge (make sure to drive over it with the windows down to hear the creaking, if you dare!). There was outside seating area (but not open when we were there in late October). It was a Saturday night so we headed over on the early side around 5:30pm because they don't take reservations. There appeared to be a wedding party downstairs in what might be a function room. We got on the waitlist but forgot to ask to be seated on the porch next to the river. When we saw how noisy the bar area was we asked if we could request the porch or wait until a table was available there, but they said once you're on the list you can only take the next available. Which happened to be in the main dining area facing the porch. The atmosphere is very casual and family-friendly, but very noisy. So not the best choice for a quiet, romantic dinner. We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated; I would have waited longer to sit on the porch, but it probably would have been noisy anywhere in the restaurant. I had a lot of questions about menu items and the waitress was very patient and helpful. I asked about a cocktail I had seen on the website that was not on the printed menu. She checked to see if they could make it but was told they could not. But the food was delicious! And prices were reasonable. My husband enjoyed his old-fashioned drink, and my Frisk Riesling wine was excellent. There were a lot of unusual and ethnic choices on the menu. My husband loved the pasta fattoria, which was a large serving with lots of tender chicken. I devoured the seafood bake. We got dessert to take with us, and let me tell you: the salted caramel vanilla crunch cake was one of the best things I've ever tasted - and I'm not the biggest dessert fan in the world! Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Maple S'mores Old Fashioned with Bullit bourbon is fantastic after a day on the ski slopes!

Great country atmosphere with seating overlooking the Pemi! Everything on the menu is awesome. Highly encourage you to stop in!

$21 chicken pita that was mediocre
    Tammy R.

Beware of price gouging if you are not a regular! Tito's and soda water - $10.50!!! Chicken was $15 on the menu, add a side of potato puffs and it's $18. They charged $18 for the chicken and an additional $3 for the potato. The pita was meh, fell a part when you tried to pick it up to eat. The seafood bake was mediocre. Small portion for the price. Slow service, but beautiful outdoor ambiance.

Great little stop for lunch, sat outside on a beautiful day! Our salads were great, very fresh

It was within walking distance to the hotel. Live music out back Relaxing atmosphere. Waitress recommended a curry chicken dish absolutely loved it. We also got a seafood casserole. Surprised that salad or bread were not included with the meal, our waitress did get us bread. They only had drawn butter which seemed a little strange so we decided against asking for a salad We went on a Monday, we found that most places in the area were closed on Mondays. We went during Laconia bike week imagine all the revenue that others lost by not being open. Overall a great place. Will definitely go back on a " Tuesday "

Wedge salad with sweet heat buffalo bites
    Carly R.

Everything we tried tonight at Covered Bridge Farm Table was really good. We started with a unique #appetizer we hadn't seen before and were intrigued with the idea of a deep fried pickled red onion! Yum! Served with a habanero ranch dip. We also had a cup of their delicious clamchowder SO good! Entrees were a VERY crispy skin duck wow! That was served with caramelized balsamic pearl onions and figs over a bed of farm fresh veggies! Our second entree was a wedge salad (super fresh and delish) with boneless buffalo chicken bites in their sweet heat sauce, also very good! Last but not least we had to try the apple cider donut sundae served with apple pie?! WOW Only drawback was the donut seemed dry but paired with the ice cream and whipped cream and caramel...all delicious.

Low quality for the basics. Pasta was soft, overcooked with Ragu-like sauce. Worst meal in the area.

Deservedly so, as it's a small quaint diner and very casual. We weren't really in the mood to sit at a restaurant table and order and be waited on. This looked just casual enough. Everything we ordered was delicious and very fresh as pointed out by a previous reviewer. Delicious ingredients and even the small serving of fruit on our plates was incredible. Service was great and the staff behind the counter were very friendly. You seat yourself, order at the counter (the woman behind the counter offered us menus as we walked in), get a number tent to place on your table, get your coffee, then the woman at the counter brings the food to your table. Actually, everyone there was nice. The diner is inside Mr Berry's on the Common in Plymouth. Lots of yummy potential on the menu. My husband ordered the Avocado Toast and I ordered the Hipster. We both had lattes, which were really good from a self-serve coffee machine, but it was really good coffee. While we waited for our food, which came out in about 10 minutes, I heard several people order Roadies. My Hipster consisted of an everything bagel with a fried egg, avocado, spinach and a yummy sauce. Wish the egg had been a little runnier, but it was a good blend and balance of flavors. I also saw a regular who came in (postal worker) who had a pot pie that is, from what I heard everyone at the counter talking about, extremely popular. Apparently there was word that they're taking it off the menu, and two women sitting at the counter were politely "interrogating" the staff as to the truth of this rumor. The owner or head chef was regaling the women with the irony of their hot items being more popular in the summer than in the winter. The pot pie and one of their soups are apparently two items that fit that bill. It made for an interesting conversation! Really cool, casual place. After we ate, we did some perusing of the store side of the establishment. All in all a great experience.
